Bliss' Dad is Horrible

Covet: [I have my post pretty much set up as if they'd just gotten back from one of the movies...if that works for you]

Covet: -Eli pulled his Rover into the driveway of Bliss's place and parked it, looking over at her in the passenger seat- And we're home again. It's been a pretty enjoyable weekend. I can't say Warcraft was the best, but everything else was worth it. -He smiled then climbed out, making his way around to the passenger side, getting her wheelchair out of the back, and opening up her door, to help her out and into the chair-
Tsaaq: "Thank you." Bliss said as she rolled up the driveway towards the front door. "It has, I'm so glad we do this." She said with a smile before going to grab her keys, only for the door to open. // Jason opened the door and spotted Eli and Bliss and furrowed his eyebrows. "Good evening Elijah. Hello Bee Bee." He said to Bliss, leaning over. "Permission to hug."
Covet: -He walked along with her up to the door then looked a little surprised when Jason opened the door.- Hello Sir, We just got back from the last movie on our list. -he said feeling like he needed to check in, seeing the look he was given.-
Tsaaq: "Permission granted." Bliss told him with a nod and wrapped her arms around Jason before pulling away and making her way inside. "Yes, we'll be in for the night if you don't mind." She said, holding the door open. // Jason squeezed Bliss then eyeballed Eli as he went back inside the house. "About that sweetheart, I WAS planning a lunch but I suppose it could wait until tomorrow. Since you've been spending so much time with your... Other half." Jason murmured.
Covet: I appologize for interupting your plans, sir. -he said as he walked into the house, closing the door behind him, and locking it.- I could take off early if you need me too. -He said presenting the idea to Bliss, not to Jason.-
Tsaaq: Bliss sighed and shook her head. "No, it's fine. Stay." She told Eli immediately. "Daddy we have to talk anyways." She went, slipping towards the kitchen and assuming the other two would follow. "Eli said something about you and Hayley, I don't quite remember the entirety of it." Bliss said, glancing at the male, unaware of how bad the situation really was. // Jason inhaled deeply, staring hard at Eli then followed Bliss. "Hayley... Which friend is that again?" He whispered, even though he knew exactly who she was talking about. "Nothing, she's a sweet girl. If anything you should invite her over more often."
Covet: -Eli tried to hide his smug smile when Bliss told him to stay, looking over at Jason, walking past him as he followed after Bliss, into the kitchen. When she brought up Hayley though he could feel his stomach drop because he wasn't expecting this conversation tonight. He cleared his throat awkwardly, and crossed his arms listening to Jason. When he suggested that Bliss invite her over more often, he quickly interjected- No, you shouldn't. Not unless she'd be comfortable, and safe. -He said staring at her dad, incredulously, setting his jaw.-
Tsaaq: She shrugged her shoulders. "Of course, it's just a matter of getting the girl out of the house." Bliss began to say before seeing Eli's reaction. "Eli, is everything alright?" Bliss asked as she went over to him and put her hand on his arm. // "Don't be preposterous, she'll be safe." Jason said condescendingly. "This is a gated community, and this is a very very good neighborhood." He continued, still acting oblivious.
Covet: It's not the community or the neighborhood I'm worried about. -Eli said, looking at Jason, rolling his eyes.- And he knows exactly who Hayley is. -He said flatly looking over to Bliss- No, it's not. But it's not my place to tell you, as much as I want to know.
Covet: *want you to know
Tsaaq: Bliss kept her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at Eli then turned to Jason. "Daddy, you know her already? While I was in the hospital you became accquainted I assume." She sighed a little, searching Jason's face for an answer. // He looked at Eli then to Bliss. "Of course I know Hayley, you are completely correct darling." He dropped down to one knee so he could be face to face with Bliss. "Prudence and I spoke with her is what he means. I don't know why he thinks she wouldn't be safe though. She's safe here with me... And the rest of us." He rambled.
Covet: Prudence spoke with him about her. Is what he means, My Dear. -Eli said correcting him, watching him try to backtrack and cover his ass.- With everyone else here, yes of course she's safe.  With you, that's the one I second guess, as much as it pains me to have to say that, especially in front of Bliss.
Tsaaq: She frowned and looked over to Jason, looking very sad. "What is he talking about?" Bliss asked softly. "Did you try to do something to her?" She continued to interrogate, her voice cracking a bit. // Jason stood up. "Don't say anything you'll regret, boy." He said sternly. "He might be referring to a misunderstanding betwixt the little girl and I. I was only trying to be friendly. And I was. I would never do anything to overstep any boundaries. I was the one who taught you about rape culture and consent, remember?" He tried to sound reassuring.
Covet: What would I have to say that I would regret? I'm just filling in the holes of your story Sir. Yes, a misunderstanding that left Hayley feeling very awkward,shaken, and taken advantage of, to the point where she didn't want to bring it up to Bliss. Why do you think she wasn't left alone with you after that, even Prudence picked up on it and I'm not about to say she was also mistaken. Just because you teach it, doesn't make you any less capable. -Eli said standing his ground.-
Tsaaq: Bliss looked appalled and terrified, rolling her chair back a bit. "Wait wait, what exactly happened?" Bliss asked. "Did you do anything to Hayley?" She asked quickly, looking extremely upset. // "Well, you're the only reason this conversation is happening, clearly." Jason said angrily to Eli. He looked at Bliss' face and frowned. "Oh honey, don't be sad. I was just-" He stammered. "She's very attractive, I couldn't help myself but I assure you I was going through a lot. That would never happen again! Especially if she came over, tomorrow around four or five o' clock." Jason said quickly.
Covet: Correct Sir, and it's sad that we even have to have it at all. Let alone this far along after the fact, or that it had to be someone else that brought it up to her, instead of you just being forthcoming about it. -Eli said, frowning at Jason, then looking at Bliss, feeling bad for her, but relieved because this shouldn't be a secret from her, not when it concerned the well being of her friend.- That's an oddly specific time to request someone over, Mr Maverick.
Tsaaq: "Dad." Bliss said with a disgusted look. She felt her heart drop and she began to make her way from the kitchen, looking devastated. "Oh my goodness." She whimpered, pulling off her glasses and wiping her eyes before the tears would even fall. // His eyes went wide. "I'm sorry, do you have some type of problem with me?" Jason said to Eli angrily. "Look at what you've done. Do you know how long it'll take to calm her? She'd probably heading to clean something, you're part of the problem." Jason whispered. "What is so wrong with me being attracted to a attractive young woman? Really?"
Covet: -Eli started to follow after Bliss, then frowned when Jason came at him- Excuse me? I didn't do anything here. This was all your doing Sir. These were your choices, not mine. Don't try to be concerned about her emotions and feelings now, you should have considered them before now. There's nothing with you being attracted to a young woman, but preying on them, and using their insecurities against them, for your own pleasure. That's not okay. I don't want to a problem with you, but it's really hard to respect you, when you do these things, Sir. But I will tell you this, I am not the problem. I do nothing but support, protect and encourage that beautiful young woman, who's heart you just broke. So if you don't mind, I've got some mending to do.
Tsaaq: She stopped in front of the staircase to just sit there and fuckin' cry. // Jason stood there saying nothing. Not looking very remorseful he went to the liquor tray to pour himself a drink then swallowed it down quickly, heading towards the front door and leaving with whatever cab he'd summon from his uber app.
Covet: -Eli made his way over to the stairs, and saw Bliss sitting there in front of the stairs in her chair.- C'mon, I'll help you upstairs. -He told her leaning over to press a caring kiss to the top of her head, going to lift her up out of her chair- I'm so sorry, Bliss.
Tsaaq: She wiped her face and resisted the tears. "It's fine. I just-" Bliss paused and shook her head and gripped onto Eli for dear life. "I should've expected as much." She whispered begrudgingly. "I'm overreacted."
Covet: -He didn't bother using the lift to get her upstairs , but made sure to hit the button for the chair to come up once they were at the top, for in the morning.- No you didn't over react. I think you handled yourself rather well, given the situation. I wish I could have helped cushion the blow some how. -he said making his way into her room to sit on the edge of the bed with her, still holding her closely-
Tsaaq: "I can't believe he would even be that way, I just need to go to bed." Bliss sighed as she leaned her head on Eli's shoulder. "I was having such a good night." She whispered before falling silent.
Covet: I know, it shocked me too. I understand if he's going through stuff, but jeez man, there are ways to handle this...and he's just...I don't know...But I'm here for you, to help figure it out, to be a shoulder to hug, or an ear to talk to, My Dear. -He told her setting her down and getting her some Pj's so they could go to sleep-
Tsaaq: ((Bliss' dad, horrible lol.))
Covet: [LOl Yeah...that!]
Tsaaq: ((He doesn't even feel bad cause it's bad, he feels bad cause he made bliss sad which is easy to avoid which is why he left lol.))
Covet: [And he has the nerve to say that Eli's the problem FOR SHAME JASON]
