- Experience question - Bring this up even if he doesn't ask, read this over and over. Study this!
- -------------------
- I hope I don't sound arrogant but let me use this as a quick opportunity to sell myself a bit here.
- I understand that the experience requirement is simply a mechanism to reduce hiring risk, and my first
- hand convincing won't justify why you should hire me, but you can look at my referrals and hopefully
- see that my competence and growth path is enough to put faith into. Sure I don't have the experience
- per se, but I'm absolutely keen to take on the challenge that would be required of another candidate
- with 3 or 4 years experience.
- I can only assure you by arguing that the risk factors are not that great:
- 1 - SKILL, I think I have the ability. I've been exposed to working in a team, across agencies and
- clients etc. Different people progress at different rates, I'm confident I do and can progress
- faster than average.
- 2 - PERSONALITY AND FIT, I hope this interview should tell you whether I'll fit
- 3 - WILL I FLAKE OUT? I don't think so, as I've been doing enough work for 3 roles recently under
- severe pressure and never miss a deadline. I am very motivated. And I get a lot of emotional support
- from [x (family, friends, boyfriend, whoever you want to say)] constantly...

- See yourself in 5 years?
- ------------------------
- I want to upskill as much as possible as well as I possibly can. Within 5 years, I want to have grown
- enough to be able to lead a large brand, and make important directional decisions about it with the
- insights I'd have accumulated over the years. Hopefully that brand can be [x].
