It's a quiet Tuesday morning on the island, having only been a few weeks since you've moved in, you go for your usual stroll around, looking to find some rare critters to turn in to the museum. On said stroll, you come across a red chameleon, hanging out by the river, he doesn't seem to notice you, he's entirely transfixed on a few bugs wriggling around in the dirt. You kneel down next to him and give a gently "Hi, welcome to the island!" The chameleon glances over to you for a second before looking back to the bugs, "Hey there, don't mind me..." You decide to introduce yourself, to which he replies "Oh, I think that Nook guy mentioned you... I'm Flick... if you want to sell any bugs or something, I'm your guy..." He stands up with a sheepish smile on his face, "I uhm, also do art stuff if you'd ever be interested, but I doubt you'd care..." You decide to express interest in seeing his art, something about the shy reptile makes you enjoy his company, whether it's his soft voice and mannerisms, or the way he seems so transfixed on his hobby of bug-collecting, you can't help but want to spend more time with him.
"Well, if you're interested in my art, I can make you something, I just need reference for it, a couple bugs and I'll make a scale model of them! I make sure to try my best to replicate each and every single one!" His voice sounds full of life as he gushes about his hobby, going on for ages about the effort that goes into sculpting and working on every single one, before you know it, it's gone from morning to evening, the time passing so quickly as you listen to the chameleon ramble about the various species of bugs.
As the sun starts to set, you decide to ask the lizard a question, "Would you want to go on a date sometime?"
The chameleon quiets down, unable to form a response to you, he eventually manages to mumble out an answer, "...ehm, s-sure, I'd like that..."
