Account Security & Player Safety

Your playtime is all identified by your account. We'd hate to lose track of everything you've done on the network, or be unable to access the network. Unfortunately, some people see entertainment in tricking you into losing your account. To help us protect you, we highly recommend you keep your account safe. You can do this by changing your password periodically, and make sure you don't use your Minecraft password on any other websites. Never share your Minecraft password with anybody, if you give someone your password, they could easily get your account banned from our network. On our Discord and Forums, we recommend using 2FA. We do not recommend clicking links that take you to locations outwith the domains, or to URLs you have never seen before.

You may be issued a network infraction under the Account Security & Player Safety rules should you do any of the following actions. Punishment under Account Security and Player Safety includes but is not limited to the following:
Impersonate a staff member, whether it be a helper, moderator or administrator.Trade or sell your Minecraft account.Scam users or link them to fake/impersonating websites.

2. Exploitation and Game Modifications

UniquePVP game-modes are in many ways of a competitive nature. We want to provide a fair and equal playing-field on all of our game modes. Gaining an advantage over players through an alternate client, or making use of a server bug is strictly prohibited. The reasons for punishment for users violating the Exploitation and Game Modifications clause includes, but is not limited to:
Usage of any game modification which does not appear on the List of Permitted Modifications thread.Knowingly teaming with a user who you know uses modifications to gain an advantage.Knowingly utilizing a gameplay or Minecraft glitch/bug to gain an advantage.Informing other users of a glitch/bug which they may utilize to gain an advantage.Encouraging others to cheat to gain an advantage.Using an auto-clicking software is not allowed.3. Sensible Content and Appropriate Use

Our sensible content and appropriate usage rules are in place to ensure a positive experience is maintained for younger players as well as older players. Younger players have as much of a right to play as older players.

Players are currently permitted to chat freely as well as name or design many things freely. The ruling applies to all aspects of the server, including, buildings, usernames, pet/item names, skins, capes and Faction names. You may be punished under this ruling for any of the following reasons (though staff members are not limited to these reasons).

Breaking any Respecting Users & Staff rulings.Inappropriate  Name Inappropriate Pet Names Inappropriate Builds Inappropriate Skins or Capes Inappropriate Usernames

4. Respecting Users & Staff

We wish for all users to have a fun and enjoyable time across our services, on Discord, the forums and in-game. We hope players are able to use the chat features across all of these services in order to discover new friends, talk to others and even to have a bit of competition. However, this competition should never go so far to become disrespect or abuse.

Staff members have to make hard decisions across the network, you should respect every staff member on the network. If you dispute a staff members decision, discussing it in-game or out-with the Appeals section is strictly prohibited. You should only dispute it on the forums in the Appeals Section.

You may be punished in accordance with the Respecting Users & Staff ruling for any of the following reasons, though staff may issue punishments for any other appropriate reason:
Discrimination - comments based on ethnicity, gender or any other personal attribute.Rude/Bad Language.Actions which are deliberately conducted to annoy or "troll" other users.Any form of insult to another player.Circumventing the chat moderation filters.Spamming - Repetitive messages in the same short period are not allowed. Short consecutive messages (i.e. counting) is not allowed. Random letter sequences are prohibited.Sharing another user's personal information.Encourage violence or verbal abuse to other players.Falsifying information about other players.Posting social media ranks - certified YouTubers CAN advertise there channels but only by DIRECT links to videos on MineFactions.Death threats.Suidical encouragement - including non-deadly forms of self-harm. (incl. talking about it)
