  1. Bullying demons.
  2.
  3. Again, potential dev log for greed V1!
  4. 22/04/2018 - logs aren't reading timestamps.
  5.
  6. A brief nod is shot towards Anta, a swift go-ahead. But more than that, the cyclopean colossus gradually reaches out to grab Shanka by the upper arm in an iron-tight grasp.
  7. (Brazha Earthcleaver)
  8.
  9.
  10. Anta says, "I am Anta. That is my name."
  11.
  12. Anta says, "There is nothing else to me than that."
  13.
  14. Brazha Earthcleaver says, "Come, Vaalmooran. We should check there now."
  15.
  16. Errezila says, "Nice to meet you."
  17.
  18. Shanka says, "Oof.."
  19.
  20. Errezila asks, "I am guessing that other girl is V-v-vaalmooran?"
  21.
  22. Brazha Earthcleaver says, "Yes, she is Vaalmooran."
  23.
  24. Shanka says, "Shanka. "
  25.
  26. Anta says, "I will go forage a moment..."
  27.
  28. Errezila says, "Errezila is my name."
  29. With that, the cyclops turns in an attempt to drag Shanka aside- only to be met with the sight of Cadura ascending the steps to the beach. A low rumble of a growl thrums from behind that armour, darkly furious in a way swiftly growing beyond the calmness of before.
  30.
  31. "Down there is our forge. Our caves. What did you take?"
  32. (Brazha Earthcleaver)
  33.
  34.
  35. Errezila asks, "Your caves?"
  36. the beast would stand a inch above silently watching her breathing small breaths of rather hot steam
  37.
  38.
  39.
  40.
  41. " I got nothing but the scales from fish that attacked me I took a look around but I am in interested in copper what I need is something to heal my sister over there "
  42.
  43.
  44.
  45.
  46.
  47.
  48. the beast would continue to glare down back at the woman in a feral way his nose snarled
  49. (Cadura)
  50.
  51. Anta was headed back inside, presumably to rest. She offered out a bag swelling with things to Brazha... Perhaps it was some form of odd tribute.
  52. (Anta)
  53.
  54. There's not even in a flinch in the face of Cadura. Does the cyclops even know what it is? Probably not. She didn't seem to know what Tragedy was, either.
  55. Unfortunately, she also doesn't seem at all put off by any notions of glaring or feral natures.
  56.
  57. For to the warriors of the frozen north, a monster is just a more glorious thing to slay.
  58.
  59. "If you want metals from us. You trade. If you want to mine for us. You give part of what you take as payment. I serve Great Garjling.
  60. When Great Garjling rises, his gullet full of treasures, his stomach weighing the worth of man. Man and dragon alike will kneel before the Conqueror Wyrm. His champions will sit on thrones of gold, in palaces of gold.
  61.
  62. To we Vanirhallans, our gods, our faith. They make us strong. Personally. Individually. When I serve myself, I serve Great Garjling. When I take wealth. I feed Great Garjling. You understand?
  63. Do not take from me. Never take from me."
  64. (Brazha Earthcleaver)
  65.
  66. The wolf seemed confused now, she as well mined in that's same cave earlier. And was never asked to have permission of any sort.
  67.
  68. "I am confused, what makes those caves yours to be exactly? Us demons have been here for a long time, and will probably be here after you mortals perish to be fair and honest."
  69. (Errezila)
  70.
  71. You have 9 minutes left until your next check. You currently qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check!
  72.
  73. Jacker Chong drops Leather x2.
  74.
  75. the beast would seem to look forward looking over to jacker then back at the woman
  76.
  77.
  78. in a deep town he would reply
  79.
  80.
  81. " you speak to much . I took nothing from you and for what its worth I didn't go deep within that cave I didn't plan to either . originally I went into the gave to see if I see anything that was shiny and green I did not so I take not. "
  82.
  83.
  84.
  85. " there are many others within the demon city that will accept your offer however I have no need for money . metals. or any of the sort..... "
  86.
  87.
  88. the demon had a great idea and gave the woman another grin " how ever I have an acolyte who is in need of things and dose need to work off her new prostatic.... I will send her to you "
  89.
  90. his face would become dull again staring at jacker
  91.
  92.
  93. " and where did you go ? " a sort of a growl at him
  94. (Cadura)
  95.
  96. Errezila later moved to her brother Kin.
  97. (Errezila)
  98.
  99. Jacker shrugs, he just closed his eyes while on this serene coastline and was magically in the horribly shit violence desert he originates from the next moment, he had to run across the entire continent to continue where he left off, but not before picking up a few choice items on the way which reminded him of something.
  100.
  101. That he was neglecting the request someone had given him for literally two days now at this point to pickup items from across the continent for whatever horribly perverted thing she had planned which he was not going to be involved in. The city was becoming a real den of sin, but he didn't actually live within it.
  102.
  103. After mulling over all the thoughts he had he simply said.
  104.
  105. "Errr, I do not know, one moment I am sitting here watching things unfold and the next moment I am in the sands I call my home. Never-the-less I wouldn't abandon any of you wonderful beings, so I ran back here for this reason alone... Yep"
  106. (Jacker Chong)
  107.
  108. Well.
  109.
  110. "Brazha, I'm capable to walk. Y'know?" She said with a soft voice, somehow still being lifted. She didn't mind too much but-- it was quite embarassing.~
  111.
  112. "Drop me, please?"
  113.
  114.
  115. (Shanka)
  116.
  117. A glance is shot towards Errezila, but even so, it takes the usual slow pause before speech for words to flow forth,
  118.
  119. "Debates over land are stupid. We lay claim. You can dispute that claim with me. I can give you an axe to use if you want to try.
  120. Good diplomacy."
  121.
  122. And then, the cross-visored gaze returns to Cadura, a deep rumble signalling the start of speech-
  123. Before a sheepish pause.
  124. Evidently, the cyclops had forgotten the whole "dragging Shanka" thing, and thus promptly releases her.
  125.
  126. It's probably best to not touch Vaalmoorans for too long, at least in Brazha's mind. Who knows what they could plan from it?
  127.
  128. "If you took nothing, then I will take nothing from you. Blood or gold. That is the offer I give. But if this is true. Then I will not strike you down.
  129. But. You all heard it. You all know now. That cave requires a toll. A toll in money. Or in food. Or in goods. Or in labour.
  130. Or, lacking those, in blood.
  131.
  132. I will speak to your Tragedy. I will speak to her, and make terms over that cave."
  133. (Brazha Earthcleaver)
  134.
  135.
  136. Errezila asks, "You threaten us with values of nothing? And you claim an entire cave with no evidence showing your rank?"
  137. the beast would go think about this for a while in nearby woods
  138. (Cadura)
  139.
  140.
  141. Errezila says, "I will say this is the up most respect miss Brazha."
  142.
  143. Errezila says, "I do not fear any mortal or anyone, except only one person. I will not say whom it may be, but your claims matter little to me. Unless lord Tragedy, makes your claims to said cave prominant and accurate, then I will continue to ravage as I see fit. If you wish for me or anyone to stop, then your plans to speak with Tragedy to make those terms true, should be held soon."
  144.
  145. Errezila says, "I must be off to speak with my Kin."
  146. "Wheew."
  147.
  148. Did Shanka mind? Not that much-- however, it wouldn't be wise to repeat this process over and over. You never know with a Vaalmooran. Tilting her head to the side, her soft blue hues rested upon the Demon infront of them. Ohh, this one ...
  149.
  150. Resting her hand onto the hilt of her weapon, a faint smile appeared onto Shanka's features.
  151.
  152. "Ahh, quite foolish little dog." She muttered between her lips, adressing to Errezila. You don't fear anyone except Tragedy? How ... cute.~ Shanka drawed her blade, looking down at it. Her index would poke the tip of it. Runes could be seen on the blade of her weapon, an enchanted blade?
  153.
  154. Somehow, Shanka was radiating with hostility towards the guests. She didn't raise her weapon nor made a threat-- but, you could feel the tension slowly growing up.
  155. (Shanka)
  156.
  157.
  158. Brazha Earthcleaver says, "Pleasure is not what I kill for. Who you fear means nothing. What matters to you means nothing. My terms are clear. A toll will be given. Or a toll will be taken. She will be spoken to- but I will put an axe into any challenge to my claim before and after."
  159.
  160. Brazha Earthcleaver says, "Scamper, kin of the wolf. You have taken nothing yet. Let me not see when you try. Be with the other now."
  161.
  162. Errezila says, "I can smell your hostility child, but I will ignore it for now. Safe travels Brazha, my sttatements still stand. Your words to call me a mere wolf, even though I have the form of one, matters not to me."
  163. Jacker looks at both the demon and the hulking warriors, he would support whomever, whenever so he wasn't going to take a side unless it was necessary for either to continue to exist.
  164.
  165. He simply shrugs and saunters off to go fulfill the merchant request someone submitted to him as he did quite enjoy accumulating and distributing resources across the entire continent to those whom had ambition, simply to generate a bit of chaos.
  166. (Jacker Chong)
  167.
  168.
  169. Shanka says, "Can smell hostility? I don't see hostility."
  170.
  171. Shanka exclaims, "Oh well, take care!"
  172.
  173. Brazha Earthcleaver says, "I do. Much hostility. From me, directed at those who would take from me. I have a spare axe if you want to try Vanirhallan diplomacy next, wolf-kin."
  174.
  175. Brazha Earthcleaver says, "I value gold over blood. Remember that."
  176.
  177. Errezila says, "Mortals and their gold, it amuses me."
  178.
  179. Brazha Earthcleaver says, "If you see that one in our caves, Vaalmooran. Take the head."
  180.
  181. Brazha Earthcleaver says, "I will do the same."
  182.
  183. Shanka says, "Oh trust me. I don't need your permission to do so.~"
  184. With a deep grunt, the hulking cyclops rolls her inhumanly broad shoulders. The axe is swung down to hang loosely at her side, steel-clad fingers clenching and unclenching around the handle, uncomfortable and fidgeting.
  185.
  186. The pause before Brazha speaks is shortened this time, voice a touch more forceful, perhaps even dully irritated.
  187.
  188. "I know, Vaalmooran. I want to cut something down as much as you do."
  189.
  190. With no more hunch to their posture by this point, Brazha no stants straight. Alert, uncomfortable. Full of furious energy with a need to be expelled.
  191.
  192. "But I know what I want more. Wealth for me is wealth to please Great Garjling. Just like. Just like whatever foul thing you do for Vaalmoora.
  193.
  194. I can kill any in our caves on sight. That is an option. I can see how many rocks each life is worth. It would work."
  195.
  196. But then, the helm's gaze descends to watch the ground itself. Perhaps, in truth, the cyclops isn't quite so dumb- value, wealth, categorising things methodically? Not typically concepts found in "ooga booga hit thing with club" brutes, certainly.
  197. Perhaps she merely thinks on a different axis.
  198.
  199. "But that is one. One life. One value. If those in Gaiar all know there is a toll. If they enforce it. Then I can cleave value from every visitor. Without spending the value of my own time."
  200. (Brazha Earthcleaver)
  201.
  202. Brazha Earthcleaver says, "The stones are patient. Great Garjling is hungry, but patient. I. I am patient."
