  1. Goal of the Ruleset: Allow as much glitchless tech as possible regardless of the possible ramifications felt by the game having randomized items. The only glitches allowed, if any, will be those that have identical requirements and effects as another glitchless technique, but have easier execution. For any allowed or banned technique where it is not obvious why it is included, a justification will be given in {}.

  3. Allowed Techniques:
  4. - Power Crouch Stabbing
  5. - Roll invincibility
  6. - Post-damage invincibility
  7. - Jumpslashing in mid-air for more distance
  8. - Shield dropping
  9. - Using broken deku stick
  10. - Hookshot Extension
  11. - Rolling from the blue switch in Jabu Jabu's Belly
  12. - Damage boosting
  13. - Damage Buffering
  14. - Placing bombs on lava pits to damage Volvagia
  15. - Skipping text triggers via weapon swapping
  16. - Opening underwater chests while wearing the Iron Boots
  17. - Passing through the back side of a one-sided collision (e.g. bridge clip, darunia's door, forest's falling ceiling)
  18. - Attacking to collect or hit an object on the other side of a collision
  19. - Momentary Antigravity (e.g. b1 skip)
  20. - Shielding damage midair to take Link out of a backflip or sidehop and into a normal airborne state. A.K.A. "Recoil Jump"
  21. - Twisted sidehops or backflips out of siderolls or standing ESS shuffles
  22. - Ground Jumps {Same requirements as a Recoil Jump, but far easier}
  23. - Culling actors (e.g. keeping enemies off screen to stop them from moving, hookshotting through boulders' hitboxes) {Part of the game, therefore all abuses is allowed unless it violates another rule}
  24. - Using cutscene items to delay timers

  26. Banned Techniques:
  27. - Infinite Sword Glitch
  28. - Megaflip and megasidehop
  29. - Extended Antigravity (e.g. unloading lower gerudo fortress)
  30. - Hoverboost
  31. - All forms of superslide
  32. - Hovering
  33. - Going Out of Bounds (any area which is beyond the boundary walls of the map such as an outer seam, or any area which is exposed to the lowest void plane in the map.)
  34. - Entrance point glitch (or other respawn point manipulation)
  35. - Passing through collision from the front (i.e. clipping). Note that this includes passing through the falling spikes in shadow temple since they have been shown to be solid)
  36. - Cutscene diving to sink into water
  37. - Flame storage
  38. - Item Manipulation (BA, RBA, GIM)
  39. - Using collection delay to your advantage (e.g. early eyeball frog or gold scale. Delay happens naturally in many shops if you buy quickly, this is ok)
  40. - Something except for a sword on B (excluding normal circumstances like riding Epona)
  41. - Bottle Duplication
  42. - Wrong warp
  43. - Void warp
  44. - Walking While Talking
  45. - Causing a switch to remain pressed longer than it should
  46. - Ocarina Items
  47. - Z-slide
  48. - A-slide
  49. - Using restricted items (such as farore's wind in the overworld or ocarina in boss rooms)
  50. - Being in an unloaded area
  51. - Unloading an actor which clearly should be loaded (e.g. actor glitch, unloading KZ's ice, overloading the graveyard or trials to remove graves or Gold Gauntlet monoliths, pause buffering the timer expiration during the diving minigame)
  52. - SRM (Stale Reference Manipulation)
  53. - Action Swap
  54. - Equip Swap
  55. - Dying to achieve anything other than a deathwarp
