  63. This method is for firmware 4.85
  64. Step 1. Download
  65. Download 4.85 HFW from ps3xploit.com
  66. Download Multiman from store.brewology.com/multiman.php v4.84
  67. Download Homebrew Downloads store.brewology.com/homebrew.php
  68. Download md5 checker: onelinemd5.com
  69.  
  70. Step 2. Plug in USB
  71.  
  72. 1. Format USB to fat32
  73. 2. Extract HFW 4.85
  74.  
  75. 3. Rename HFW_485.1_PS3UPDAT.PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP
  76.  
  77. 4. Create a Folder Name it PS3
  78.  
  79. 5. Create a Folder inside PS3 name it UPDATE
  80.  
  81. 6. Move the PS3UPDAT.PUP to the folder PS3/UPDATE
  82.  
  83. 7. USe the md5 checker to verified your HFW (This method is optional)
  84.  
  85. 8. Plug USB to PS3 all the way to the right hand side closest to your disc tray

  88. Move Multiman to your USB root directory.
  89.  
  90. Step 3.
  91. 1. Go Settings > Systems Update > File storage media > Install the 4.85 HFW
  92.  
  93. If the download fails boot in safe mode and install the HFW in safe mode.
  94. It would probably be best to install 4.85 HFW in recovery mode. and choose
  95. System update
  96.  
  97. 2. Make your PS3 your Primary by going Account Management System Activation
  98. Ps3 system > Game > Activate System
  99.  
  100. Do not forget to set auto login off. You do not want to be auto sign in
  101.  
  102. 3. Open up your browser on the PS3 System
  103.  
  104. Press Triangle > Tools > Home Page > Set blank Close and Re open
  105.  
  106. Press Triangle > Tools > Clear Cookies + History + Cache + Authentication Info
  107. Go to Confirm browser turn it off > Close and Re-Open Browser(Optional)
  108.  
  109. You do not have to close and re-open the browser but you can do so
  110. if you wish.
  111.  
  112. Press Start and enter Ps3xploit.com
  113. read the warning than continue
  114.  
  115. Press Select to bookmark the site
  116.  
  117. On the top click PS3Hen Choose Hen Installer or Hen Alternative
  118. if you have chosen alternative it will take you to remove play just
  119. hit back button by pressing O on the controller find the Hen Installer
  120. and install hen.

  123. Click on Enable Hen It may fail first time and may make you reboot
  124. if it does this just try again and should work for the second time.
  125.  
  126. Last step. Install the package that you have downloaded and transfer to your
  127. usb root directory.

  141. This method is for 4.84 but should be able to follow this step for 4.85 you will just need the
  142. 4.85 HFW if you are still on firmware 4.84 than you will need 4.84 HFW most likely your firmware should be on 4.85 so I would recommend downloading the 4.85 HFW file from PS3xploit.com

  144. Step 1 Confirm Firmware 4.84 or 4.85
  145. Go here download the file https://www.mediafire.com/file/pjiskscva5fg2dh/HEN_2.3.1_Install.zip/file
  146.  
  147. Move the the file you just download and place them in the root of your usb than plug
  148. Make sure your USB is fat32 than
  149. Plug your usb in the right hand closest to the disc on your PS3
  150.  
  151. Go to System Update and install HFW 4.84 if you are on Firmware 4.84 or HFW 4.85 if
  152. you are on Firmware 4.85. It would be best to do this in recovery mode.

  154. As sometime trying to install the file using the System Update method
  155. it attend to fail and it shouldn't damage your ps3 or brick your console
  156. which can always happen that is just the risk and I do not believe
  157. it will it should display a message giving an error code or it may
  158. say it already installed if you have done it already if it does than
  159. it would be best to install in recovery mode.

  162. Step 2.
  163.  
  164. Go to Internet Browser > Triangle > Tools > Home Page
  165. Make the page blank > Close and Re open
  166.  
  167. Press Start and enter Ps3Xploit.com
  168. Read the warning label make sure everything matches and understand the risk
  169. Go to PS3Hen / Hen installer or you can do the alternative remember if you do alternative
  170. it will take you to remote play. With this method probably be best to do Hen Installer.
  171. Clear your Cookies + History + Cache + Authentication Information
  172.  
  173. Once done click on the first box should say Install Hen let it run it process
  174. and it should download all the files for PS3 Hen.
  175.  
  176. Once everything completed Turn off System.
  177. Once the system has been rebooted you should see the
  178. Enable Hen and Package Manager.
  179.  
  180. Click on Enable Hen if it fail it should reboot your console
  181. try to enable it again and should work.

  183. Once You have enable hen install the package
  184.  
  185. Multiman > You can find the latest by going store.brewology.com/multiman.php
  186. Webman mod > You can find the latest webman by going store.brewology.com
  187. ManaGunz < You do not really have to install this but you can if you wish.

  189. On Webman Mod click on it than hold L1 and X turn your controller / PS3 turn off
  190. Enable Hen again remember if it reboot try again
