The Unfortunate Ushi-Oni

>The Lilim that runs them is a bitch
>Doesn't understand that she just wants to be like her oldself
>has to struggle constantly with her own instincts
>has a firm grasp of them all things considered
>people treat her like a monster
>this fucking lilim keeps telling her to just rape somebody, it's the natural way
>she loses her job and has to become homeless, a monster living under a bridge and often run off by the PD

>She leaves the city, hoping to find some reason to be
>Just wanders
>Kicked out of any town she arrives at
>Can't even catch a lift as vehicles speed up when they see her
>She builds a house alone in the woods after giving up hope
>Lives alone as everything avoids her
>Men fear pelvis destruction, MGs fear she'll take their man
>One day finds a man lying unconscious in the woods
>Takes him in and tries to help him
>He gets better and after some apprehension and pleas of "Spare my pelvis!" he becomes her friend
>he's on the run from the city
>wants to avoid losing his humanity to the monsters
>she thinks that's kind of crazy, what's wrong with sex but she'll do anything to keep her friend
>helps him out but there's nowhere to run for him
>he stays in the woods with her, gradually warming to her presence
>and she starts to feel alive and appreciated again
>like she hasn't felt since the accident
>her whole body tenses for something to go horribly wrong
>She is happy to have contact, even if it's just as friends
>Becomes good at weaving and makes herself nice clothes to replace the rags she had
>Finally feels content
>Then that damn Lilim shows up......
>man falls to his feet in worship
>lilim seduces him to her protests
>"why, my dear, you had months to make your move. Shouldn't you have raped him by now? Isn't that your way?

>"Just give in. You're a monster now and will never be anything else. Embrace your instincts."

>Lilim turns to leave with her fawning new pet, the Ushi's only friend since the accident
>and then she moves like lightning, legs hammering across the floor...
>lilim's smug grin and perfect posture interrupted when caught in the back with a thousand pounds of anger and hate
>decked into ground with one fierce claw
>magic interrupted by the brutal hammering on her
>the Ushi-Oni screams again and again that she is not a monster and to stop hurting her, what did she do so wrong
>man is cowering in a corner now, spell broken and starting to understand what's going on
>lilim gets enough of a shield to only be punched half the time, spits something about hardening her up so she would really be a monstergirl
>Ushi has no response but a scream of sorrow and rage, punching the lilim literally through a wall and yelling to never come back, ever, and to leave her alone
>lilim swears halfhearted vengeance and flees into the woods
>Ushi sits back down in the ruined chair and starts to cry again
>after a few minutes she feels the mans hand softly on her shoulder
>He hugs her as she sobs
>Stays like that for hours, even after she stops crying
>Asks him if she really is a monster
>He just smiles and holds her tighter
>all she can do is sob at him and tell him to run before she hurts him too
>in the end she was a monster inside just like the lilim said
>his hand leaves her shoulder and she keeps weeping, her tears saved over the last two months pouring out all at once
>he's gone too, then
>she deserves it doesn't she
>stupid fucking Ushi-Oni, only good at raping and hurting
>a pot of soup is set before her and she raises her head
>he's standing there, strained smile on his face
>"you saved me."
>he couldn't stand being someone's slave
>does she want some soup?
>she takes it with gratitude and savors it
>she's going to die soon she knows, the lilim will come back with others and murder her
>well, more like pest control she guesses
>but they will pay dearly first
>the man is a lot more friendly than usual
>and that is the first time he sneaks into her bed
>Years later
>Ushi and Husband are snuggled up by the fireplace
>He's wearing a sweater she made him
>They have a small daughter sleeping between them
>Lilim lost all her credibility because she failed to beat a lesser monster
>Her sisters laugh at her
>She tries not to cry
>Cries a lot
