-CHARACTER INFORMATION-
The main character, Hazama Ideo.
In 199X, the "Demon Summoning Program", distributed to the world by a man named Stephen, was sent out randomly in the hope of finding the messiah.
It reached Hazama, who attended Karukozaka High School 2-C. With a genius brain, he was interested in the program, which many ignored as just a prank.
He began his analysis of the program... He even succeeded in carrying himself to the land of the Expanse with the knowledge gained from it.

Partner, Amon.
A demon summoned by Hazama using the demon summoning program. The demon has been summoned by a ritual and follows the rule of obedience to the summoner.
Together with Hazama, he confronts the trials of the "Tower of Infinity".

In "Shin Megami Tensei if..." the ending of the story changes depending on the partner selected at the beginning of the game. Amon is the protagonist's partner in Akira's route, which is also a hidden route.
Amon is a demon that inhabits Akira Miyamoto's body and takes revenge on Hazama at the end. However, in "if... Hazama's Chapter", he plays an active role as a partner of the protagonist, Hazama Ideo.

One day, while working on his computer as always, Hazama obtained a strange thing through the NET.
"The Demon Summoning Program".
The majority of people who obtained the Program only thought of it as a prank and deleted it, but Hazama, fascinated by its mysterious title, read all the books he could find and mobilized all the intelligence he had to create the "machine" (COMP) that could put this program into practical use.

With the dark knowledge thus obtained...
The technique of the Demon Summoning Program was born…
Was it to free himself from that quiet life? Or was it something brought about by madness?
After meticulous preparations, followed by some kind of ceremony, he arrived in front of a mysterious, gigantic Tower....
