Trax Backstory

Trax was born Delilah Pentrol, youngest child and daughter to the nobles Luther and Merium Pentrol. She had two brothers, Allyn (the oldest) and Kane (the middle child). She was the only daughter to her parents fawned over her and there was a lot of pressure put upon her even though she was not aware of it at the time.

Her parents Favorited her over the other siblings and Kane grew worried. While Allyn was the heir to the family's wealth and power, he was next in line if anything were to happen. But with Delilah that was at risk of being changed so he began to plot.
When Delilah was 12 her family home was attacked one night and her family and many of the servants and other people living there were slain. Allyn managed to take her and escape into the woods surrounding their home but were chased by the attackers and was killed while trying to flee. Delilah was mortally injured and left for dead in the woods.

She had no way to save herself and died in those woods but an entity came to her in her final moments and offered her a chance to survive and a chance for revenge. She took it.  And after some time, she awoke, much to her own surprise. She remembered the attack and her own death and had no idea what had happened but she was in a unfamiliar place and in an unfamiliar body.

After she had passed, the entity she had made a deal with lead one of its warlocks to her location and brought her back with the spell of reincarnation. No longer was she human but a tabaxi in the service of Odezus. The warlock who brought her back was a tiefling by the name of Grimmore, or Grimm for short, who had followed the path of druidism before he made a deal with the Old one himself. Now he works in service of Odezus teaching and training the new warlocks he was lead to. So he took her under his wing and trained and raised her.

Odezus revealed the locations of those who had slain her family overtime through dreams and she set out on her path for revenge, learning to take new identities to keep herself hidden and unknown to the people she was hunting. While she took many names, she kept one that fit her and her new life, becoming Trax from there on out.

She hunted down the mercs who killed her family, taking years to find all of them after they scattered to the winds. When she finally found the leader of the group, she thought her path would be done but the truth was revealed to her as she saw her only living family, her brother Kane, talking to the man and discussing the deaths of all the other mercs who had killed her family. The man wanted protection or else he would talk about who hired them to kill the family and Kane killed the man for threatening him. Trax's surprise and shock and horror revealed her location to him and he tried to kill her, realizing she had been the one hunting them down. Trax was only saved by Grimm getting her out of there and the revelation that her own brother had been behind all of this shocked and devastated her.

She was now known to Kane and he made it a point to try and hunt her down before she could tell anyone else what she knew, though he only knew her as Trax and not his sister. Knowing  her home was no longer safe to her she begrudgingly had to flee so she could recoup and grow her own abilities to rival those of her brother so she could serve him the justice he deserved for killing their family. She like many others had heard of the college of Riverdale and knew that if she could make it there she could become strong enough to face her brother again.

She set off for Riverdale and had to leave Grimm behind who had more work to do for their entity. She managed to make it and enroll within the college and during her time there, her anger and bloodlust faded and she began to learn to enjoy life and started to think more of what she wanted to do with her life after her quest was done. While she still wanted revenge, it wasn't the only thing driving her onward.
