we accept all kinds of ships here, although we try to keep things family-oriented and less taboo. if you have a ship for characters like isabelle or a villager like bluebear, we accept them all! no judgement. by using our "ask" feature, you can send us names of 2+ villagers you ship and we can either give our ratings on it (usually on a scale of 1-10 with a reasoning), write a list of headcannons for the couple, or make some fanart if you like! it's important to specify which you'd like, otherwise we'll just do what we want. keep in mind although it's unlikely, we have the right to decline any ship submissions.

💭 = give my ship/s some headcannons.
📝 = give my ship/s fanart.

~you may send more than one, but if you send a huge list, we might just pick one or two. we'll tag the ships so you know which ones we've covered (say for example punchy x bob might pop up a bit). we'll revisit them if we deem it necessary, but otherwise we'll link to the original post. if we wrote headcannons for the ship but you'd like fanart, we may be a little hard to budge, but if we have the time and resources, definitely. also, if we say "submissions are closed", anything sent during that period will be deleted.
~regarding self inserts: please link us to a photo and/or a description of your character's appearance and personality. we dont want to dig through past 3 posts on your blog to find an image. you can do this through submissions or private messaging. we plan to have a crossingships discord in the future where you can submit as well. self-inserts don't have to be of your mayor, but if it's of you, we'd still like to know more about you!
~you can submit ships of characters from different universes (like a pokemon! ex. isabelle x lilipup) but please keep things animal crossing-oriented. once things stop being about animal crossing, we're not interested (at least on this blog).
~if you reblog a post with anything vulgar or cruel towards the ship/person, you will be blocked. and we will not fight over it. message us further on the issue or use a second account and see where you end up. it's ok if you don't like the ship, and a polite discussion about it is encouraged, but we'll let it be known when you draw the line. saying "ew, why THEM?" is not polite and does not create a safe space for the shippers.
~you may message us to talk about and gush any ship you want, whether it be about real people or characters. we'd love to hear what you're currently raving over. (just...don't ship me in anything, i beg.)
