Smash Conquest

Smash Conquest is a survival game where players challenge one another for a shot at permanently claiming one of their opponent's characters as their own.

How it works:

- At the start of the event, each player is randomly assigned two unique characters from numbers 1 (Fox) through 16 (Link) on the Melee tier list; the sum of the tier list positions of the two characters will be between 14 and 20 (inclusive) for balance. Every character from DK to Kirby is considered part of the "community pot" and will be accessible by every player.
- Challenges are played as 3v3 iron man crew battles with 3 stocks per character and infinite time. The Apex striking system and stagelist will be used. After each game, the winner of the previous match may ban a stage. The loser then picks their character and may counterpick any stage that has not been banned. Players must select their lineup (in no specific order) before the challenge starts and must pick among any combination of their unique characters and community pot characters.
- The winner of the challenge may claim the unique character of the loser that is lowest on the tier list (aka highest number) for the remainder of the challenge or until they lose it by challenge.
- When a player runs out of unique characters they are out of the challenge.
