↻ BACKGROUND - Alicia's parents were both very lucky to escape Cuba alive. They knew they couldn't live there, especially with the communism and the lack of food and materials. Once they had gotten to America, they started their life like any immigrants. They tried their hardest to learn English and found jobs. Alicia's mother became a tailor while her father opened a car wash. When Alicia was born they were a stable family that could afford to raise her. Once she had begun school, they really stressed the importance of studying hard and being very smart. Alicia was constantly studying and getting tutored to becom the highest ranking in the nation. Alicia wanted to make her parents proud, for they had suffered a lot to bring her to America. When she entered high school, she selected Korean as her language and just like all her other classes, she aced the class. She was now a trilingual tornado: she knew English, Spanish and Korean. When it came time to pick a college, she used her language skills and moved to South Korea in order to become a scientist.

↻ PERSONALITY - Alicia was never loud or outgoing. She is quite the introvert and truly does enjoy staying in and listening to music while studying. Although her studies were a bit forced onto her, Alicia could never see herself being loud and fiery and failing classes. Studying became a hobby and a passion for her. She enjoys showing off her brains and how extremely intelligent she is. Although she's not loud at all, she becomes passionate about teaching new people new things and might be seen some time as an attention whore for always trying to one up people. That's one of her biggest flaws, her temptation to always be right and get the credit she deserves for her work. Alicia's not the type to have many friends and she actually enjoys that. The minimal friends she had during high school would frequently get drunk or do drugs and she was never into that. All-in-all, she's diligent, smart and attentive.

↻ HIS PERSONALITY ; Namjoon and Alicia are quite similar. They both are very smart and a bit quiet. Namjoon is religious whereas Alicia is very scientific. Considering she's majoring in science, it's hard for her to believe in a religion. Namjoon is open to different things but sometimes tries to explain to her his point of view on religion. He's very patient and knows the perfect things to say. He's light hearted and likes joking around. He's sometimes stern and a bit overpowering but those are just his amazing leadership skills.


↻ WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST REACTION WHEN YOU SAW HIM? ; Alicia's best friend was actually the person who signed her up for 'Oppa Mail'. Alicia had no one idea and was absolutely shocked when he kind of just showed up. Alicia and her friend were at her house, both studying for the upcoming exams they had. Her friend had planned it so that she would be there when he was delivered. They were sitting on her couch and staring at their textbooks until the apartment door bell rang. Alicia got up to go get the door while her friend waited anxiously. Her friend explained the situation and Alicia was actually a little mad. She wasn't sure how she was going to balance her studies with a relationship. After the two had met, her friend left and Namjoon walked over to where her studying materials were and actually showed her how to solve the problem she was stuck on. She asked for his help and they stayed up the whole night, studying and getting to know each other.
↻ WHERE DID HE GET DELIVERED TO YOU? ; At her apartment in Seoul.

↻ DID HE ACT LIKE A BOYFRIEND? ; When they first met it was more trying to get to know each other rather than forming a relationship. Once they overcame the awkwardness of the first time they met, they became closer. He'd make sure she was warm if it was cold outside, or he'd bring her coffee when he knew she had stayed up all night studying. Alicia having to kick her L/I because he snores so loudly. They have lunch dates in between her classes. He'd bring them food and they'd sit on campus then she'd go back to class. They tend to stay up late and talk. Most of the time is was his deep philosophical thoughts that would rattle her mind. Lots of pillow talks, lots of cuddling, lots of cooking for him.

↻ HOW DID THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU REACT? ; Trying to explain the scenario to her Latin parents was comedic. A whole boy was generated for her and then shipped to her. They couldn't process the thought. Her minimal friend group thought the idea was cute and that she was finally happy.

↻ SUGGESTED SCENES WITH L/I:
-She had to stay late at school due to a very, very important exam she was studying for. Her L/I bought her dinner and ate with her on her college campus.
- He volunteers to take her shopping and he sits on the couches outside the dressing room and hypes her up when she comes out. Then she gets embarrassed when he tells the moms waiting for their daughters, that she's his girlfriend.
- They stay up one night while they have another one of their pillow talks. her L/I asks her if people can change and she responds 'No' because rather than them changing, their situations changed. He believes that people can change for the right reasons, they half-heartedly argue.
-She reviews her notes while making him dinner. He's sitting at the counter while she's cooking. He's reading her formulas and definitions and she's trying to match them to the right words and such.
-They go for walks in the park when it's snowing. She becomes cold so he gives her his jacket and ushers her into a cafe to buy her hot chocolate. They sit and chat.

I seemed to make it more about Namjoon, so if I need to redo my form, I'd be more than happy to.

↻ MESSAGE TO ME - Hi Fia! I'm Mames! I saw you commenting on my applyfic so I decided to check out your works. I loved the idea of the book sooooooo much and I decided I HAD to apply. So now I'm here. I hope you never have writers block and that you have fun writing the book. Writing about fourteen people can definitely be overwhelming so never feel pressured to spit out a chapter. I hope you enjoyed the form!!
↻ WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE YOUR FORM? - I know that non-Asian characters are sometimes risky, but what a lot of people seem to forget is that kpop is international and the world isn't only made up of their fav oppas and unnies (i'm gagging). Anyways, I think seeing a new ethnicity might be refreshing and show the different demographics of kpop stans. I myself am Cuban, so idk, the character is kinda similar to me. I know there will be many more forms, so I won't get ass hurt If I don't get chosen. I'll still support the book. But if you really would like me to change the ethnicity of my character, I will!
