  1. Starting from 11.0 release, the FLEXCUBE application is getting bulkier by the day, (for eg: The Russian Cluster is 3 times the size of the kernel version) and our laptops often fail to deliver the performance in front of the customer. There is a need for better demo infrastructure and high performance laptops. Also, we face huge time lag in transferring the dumps from one location to another which would range from 1-2 days. Request a solution where huge data can be transferred in matter of a few hours to avoid last minute rush.
  2. In case of Virtual Machine Installations, the generic VM is equivalent to a new laptop with nothing installed on it. The sales consulting technical team is required to install all the prerequisites, setup the database server, application server and then the application. Further, configure BIP reports, OBIEE, RAD tool and BPEL. A major portion of this task is a repeat of what has been done for the previous release. There is a need for standardization of the installation process where-in the sales consulting team can install the application by just procuring the sources from the development team with proper documentation for the cluster releases.
  3. Since, these servers are installed by the sales consulting technical team and its on a virtual machine, neither the DBA nor the Application server team would support the same in case a problem is encountered - ie, the DBA ticket system does not allow virtual machines to be entered.
  4. Hardware sizing - The output generated from the capacity modeler tool is not in the preferred format. It would reduce a lot of overhead and unnecessary mail exchange if the modeler can capture all the required sizing information in one single request and then produce a single consolidated sizing document which can be directly forwarded to the customer.
