Stream Updates

I have a lot of streaming stuff to inform people about, so I figured this is best way to do it

Partner stuff:

-I've had sub button for literally 5 days and we're already almost at 100 subs. Jesus. H. Christ. I want to have a mix of sub goals to keep things spicy and fresh. These goals are definitely reach goals, and I'm 100% aware of that, but I'd rather have goals that are too high so I know where the ceiling is for the time being.

100 subs - Write and single track a song a cappella. Learn and grind rac2 any%.

150 subs - Not sure yet?

200 subs - One-Man Opera (I'd learn the parts and piano accompaniment to the entirety of an opera, and perform them all live via Twitch. I'm thinking The Magic Flute because it's not too difficult to learn and there's no recitative). This one is sitting at 200 subs because I need a very long time to learn this whole thing anyway.

-I've been thinking about emotes very carefully for a while. I've been taking my time with this because I believe emotes are the most important factor of twitch partner marketability. The two conditions that go into great emotes are that they need to be representative of the streamer, and understandable to a general twitch audience. Therefore, I will NOT be having a plethora of Ratchet related sub emotes, because, even though it satisfies the first condition, it completely neglects the second condition. I'll have one or two Ratchet emotes for sure, and I'll make sure they're amazing. Also, I want my sub badge to be Ratchet related, because it makes sense from a loyalty badge standpoint.

Speedrunning stuff:

-Grinding categories I have WR in is kind of boring to me now. I'll wait until people bop me before I revisit old categories.

-That being said, categories I'm presently fascinated with are Super Mario Sunshine any%, Ratchet 1 any%, and Ratchet 2 any%. As you can see above, I'm saving rac2 for 100 subs, so get me there soon, peeps :3

-RATCHET AND CLANK COMMUNITY RELAY on Dec. 3. I'm running rac2 no IMG/no Specials (bid war) against Skitz, and rac3 NG+ against IN. It's gonna be so fucking good. We've got tons of different ratchet games, categories, and runners being represented, and I can't wait to see how much attention it can get our humble little community.

Scheduling stuff:

-This month is a madhouse for me. I've got to focus on grad school pre-screen recordings this week, as well as opera rehearsals and a chaotic work schedule all month. I'm going to do my absolute best to stream as often as possible, because you all deserve my time. I apologize in advance that this month won't be as active and frequent as the past couple of months, though. I promise it'll make my stream quality better in the long run, since it'll make me so much more determined to bring you all quality content in the months to follow.
