Osprey and Yang: 2nd round of E-Cup(1st part)

Up there in the noble box where a bunch of esteemed nobles sat together away from the public and among themselves. While most of them were upset that some of the trainers who were their kids lost so early in the 1st round(Some of the guards had to escort one Miss Sully McArthur out after her daughter's devastating lost made her, as Severa put it 'very salty'), Others were happy about their kids's winning in the first round such as Mr and Mrs. Arc, parents of one Jaune Arc, Evelyn Hresvelg, mother and matriarch of the Hresvelg family who was looking down at the arena, watching as her daughter was getting ready to fight who is the number one seed and projected to win this, Pyrrha Nikos. While she have the upmost faith in her daughter's chances to win, there's a reason why Pyrrha is such a highly skilled trainer.

Even still, she hopes that Edelgard can win here. Hell, if she were to beat Pyrrha here and then lose, that would still count as a win in her books. If only to shut up the queen who's constantly boasting about her niece(Nevermind that she just ignored her nephew on her husband's side who lost in the first round to one of the Aegis sisters.) "C'mon, Edelgard...." She mutters to herself as she crosses her arms. Outside of the noble box, she can spot her best friend from childhood giving advice over the fence from the audience to the dugout. Although Camilla's milkjugs was swaying (And she swore that Rhiannon was looking at those instead of her mother's face.), that doesn't mean that Camilla Faraday's a slouch. Both her and Cam was one of the best trainers during their time before both of them retiring to other careers. Evelyn became a lawyer while Camilla is a model.

As much as she would like to think back on those days, the sound of the bell signals that the two trainers of the 2nd round will now get into the arena. She turn all of her focus down there so she can support Edelgard in her toughest match up to this point.

"Pyrrha.." Down in the arena, Edelgard is busy forming a plan to defeat the unstoppable foe that is the heiress to House Nikos before her with her Achilles, standing there with it's Lance ready for battle as her Wilhelm is in it's fighting stance of both hands balled into fists before it. "(I know we all did our studying against her...but reality is often more cruel than it should be.)"
Pyrrha's expression is that of someone who knows she will win this and doesn't see Edelgard as an obstacle. "I hope we can have a fine match, Edelgard." She smiles with a confident tone in her voice as Edelgard nods with a more grim expression as the bell rings to start the battle. "Same..."

Both Osprey and Yang were watching the match before them as they paid attention to how both monsters fought, With Achilles staying out of Wilhelm's range with steady pokes and swings. "....I think Edelgard's gonna lose to her. Pyrrha's messing with her..." Yang mentions as Osprey turn to look at her, urging her to continue. "She's just having her Trojan stay out of reach of the Battlerocks, Unless WIlhelm have Charge to break zone..." Soon enough, Wilhelm does uses it's Charge as he lean his shoulder down and begin to run towards Achilles with thunderous footsteps. But Achilles managed to dodge out of the way easily and aimed it's hand at Wilhelm's side with a blue Mind Flare shot to wither the guts.

Osprey sighs and turn away from the match as he spots Ruby approaching them with Flora. The two of them freezing like deers in headlights before smiling nervously. "Oh..He-hey!" She rubs her head with Osprey raising an eyebrow at her. "I-I was..." She fidgets her fingers as she look at them and shout "I was wondering if I could sit with y'all while we watch the matches!" Both twins look at one another and then their monsters before shrugging as Yang answers by scooting away from Osprey and patting a spot "Sure."

"Yay!" Wasting no time, Ruby sprints over and sit down between them with a raised eyebrow on both twins as they look at her and then back to the match, with Wilhelm doing well as he got a good Punch on Achilles, knocking the armored centaur against a tree. Pyrrha doesn't look concerned at all with her monster getting up quite fast and neighs in anger as he gallops towards the battlerocks, raising his lance in the air before jumping to the sky... "Ah, it's over...." Osprey comment as Achilles come down in a spiral with the lance extended as Pyrrha give out the command for Meteor Drive.

Achilles's body begin to glow bright red as his lance comes down on Wilhelm with a big explosion occuring from the impact. As the smoke stayed in the air, Achilles jump out of it as he lands before Pyrrha and twirls his lance in a victorious manner. Soon enough, the Smoke cleared up to reveal Wilhelm barely standing on his feet, covered in burnt marks from the explosion on his armor-like skin. Having no face to judge how much pain it is in doesn't make it hard to see how much health he got due to his unsteady legs.

"Yeah, it's over." Yang  claims as she checks her nails as well as Kyo's with Edelgard forfeiting the match out of concern for Wilhelm's health as the crowd cheers for Pyrrha and Achilles. Wilhelm being escorted by the medical staff to the room with Edelgard following them with a sad look. "Awww..." Ruby sighs and rest her chin on her hand. "I was really hoping that she would win there..." "She wasn't gonna win unless she took a more offensive approach..." She look up with a confused look to Osprey who continues. "She allowed Pyrrha to dictate the pace of the match and followed her. Should had opened up with a Heavy Slap to make Achilles more keen to attack and try to break through his armor."

"...Oh.." Ruby looks away and thought on it. "(...He makes sense. Had Edelgard got the first hit, she could had let Wilhelm stock up Guts and then retaliate.)" "Well, the next match have Mythra in it!" Osprey was gonna go find some food to eat, but hearing Mythra in the next match makes him stay there to watch, having a small idea that she would probably want him to watch. "(Not sure WHY....but..if it makes her happy.)" Looking to the ring, he sees Mythra glancing over at him with Hikari flying to the ring to face off against her foe. He nods at her with a calm look which makes her look away with a blushing smirk. "(Whatever makes her happy.)"


Hikari's match goes out heavily in her favor against Baluum the Icebergy(Baku/Tiger) as she pelt him from afar with Rays and Bolts. It was truly a one-sided match for the Angel. Mythra blew kisses to the crowd as she skip back to the dugout towards the twins and Ruby with her monster behind her. "Did you see my genius skills, Osprey?" She flips her hair with a smug smile, Osprey nodding with a small look of approval "...Good work, you played the MU well." Hearing his praise makes her squee before she abruptly hugs him while he is sitting down, mushing his face towards her breasts. "THANK YOU!" Seeing her brother casually getting suffocated by her friend's boobs makes Ruby sighs as she pat Mythra's back. "Mythra..." "Huh?"

She leans off of Osprey who doesn't look bothered by the boobs at all and look at Ruby with a raised eyebrow. "Oh, Ruby? I didn't see you over here..." "(Yeah, cause you were busy trying to choke my brother with your giant mammories..)" Ruby smiles as she keep that to herself and point across the ring. "You should probably keep focused on your next opponent.." Mythra look over and see Pyrrha with her 3 friends, giving Jaune some advice for his next opponent...that being Osprey.

"Heh...I'm not nervous at all..." Mythra's smile that's shaking a bit on her face tells the 3 all that they need to know. "I got a plan for miss red-headed over there anyway! I gotta go and think on it with Hikari!, See ya!" _She grabs Hikari's hand and jog away to where her sister Pyra's at. "...She's nervous." Yang replies as the next match between Rhiannon's Akuma and Nora's Thor is about to start.


"Can't blame her..." Ruby look over to see Pyrrha sitting down next to Jaune as Lie Ren is cheering on for his girlfriend with Ming-Tun on top of his head doing the same waving pom-poms. "Pyrrha's..strong." Osprey roll his eyes and scoffs. "We'll beat her." Ruby wish she could believe in him 100%, but at the moment, Pyrrha just seems unstoppable.

In the arena, Rhiannon is glaring ahead with a scowl on her face, Facing against a Rhinoroller this early was not a bad thing since all they are good at is POW, SPD, and LIF. Luckily, she have trained Akuma's ACC enough to where some of his low-cost moves should deal enough damage to stall the time away.


"(And even when I beat her...)" She glances over to see the twins watching with Ruby, eyes landing on Osprey. "(I have another big obstacle in my path...)" She clenches her fists, seeing the bracket laid before her when the tourney started that in order to get to Grands, she would have to fight Osprey. She knew that she would fight one of the twins sooner or later, but she wished it wasn't so early. "(Regardless....I have to worry about the next foe before me...)"

"ARE YOU READY TO LOSE, RHIANNON?!?" Always the loud one, Nora beams a confident smile with Thor revving up it's wheel, smoke forming behind it as it lay on top of it and spin it in place. Rhiannon forms a small smirk with Akuma buzzing loudly, almost like a Dragon's snarl thanks to his blood. "You're gonna get a crash course on why it's not wise to challenge a Faraday.."


The bell rings as instantly Thor rockets forward with a Charge. Leaning down on the wheel with his yellow horn ready to stab Akuma. But Akuma merely stomps the ground and hold his place as he takes the attack head on, getting pushed back a bit before grabbing Thor with both claws and attempting to throw him up, but Thor revs backwards and escape from the grasp as he soon drive away and around Akuma. "NAH, NAH, YOU CAN'T CATCH THOR!" Thor turns towards Akuma once more and ram into his back before driving off and zooming around the arena making impossible turns.

However, Rhiannon doesn't seem too bothered by it cause of Akuma's stance showing no amount of pain as he stay still and allow Thor to drives like crazy. "(Just as I thought...Akuma's DEF and LIF are high enough to guard against Thor's attacks.)" "Akuma!, You know what needs to be done, we discussed this!" Akuma makes a buzzing noise in agreement as Thor comes towards him once more, only this time Akuma raise his left claw up high and hold it to his side. "Lariat!" Rhiannon screams as Akuma bring his arm back and attempt to swat Thor away, only for the Skunkroller(RR/Ripper) to hop over the arm with his wheel carried by him and land behind  the dragon-beetle. "That was pretty cool!" Nora sounds impressed by the strat before smirking. "But not cool enough! Thor, Charge again!" Thor makes a abrupt stop and adjust itself so that it's facing Akuma again and charges towards his back. Rhiannon however have a wide smirk now.

"Upper Charge!" Akuma slams his horn to the ground with enough force to pierce the arena floor and turn around while driving his horn in the dirt...and as Thor gets closer, abruptly bring it up so hard that it breaks parts of the floor and delivers Thor an rising slash of his horn that sends the Skunkroller away from it in the air as it lands on it's side in sheer pain. "No way, Thor!"  Thor is slow to try and get up, but soon fall down Ko'ED with swirls in his eyes.

"Awwww...damnit.." Nora sighs as medical members take her SR to the medical room to help it as she follows them. Rhiannon smiles and pats Akuma on his back after he walk back towards her. "Good job, boy...now.." She sighs and look over at Osprey who is getting ready for his next match with Iori bouncing on his feet with a wide smirk. He briefly look over to the brunette who stares at him for a bit before walking off the arena. "Time to get ready for the next foe..."
