Cthulhu ( kə-THOO-loo; for variant pronunciations, see below) is a plan by NASA to award an exclusive commercial lease to SpaceX for use on upper stages of Blue Origin BE-4 engines. SpaceX said that "the first syllable is not unlike klul in sound, hence the h represents the guttural thickness."
