- Hello,
- Unfortunately you will not be able to use the yum package manager until you either license your CloudLinux installation or revert it back to CentOS. It appears your CloudLinux license expired back in November (and was only a KernelCare trial license):
- You also do not have a valid CloudLinux license provided by cPanel or a cPanel partner either, only a valid cPanel license:
- However, your operating system is CloudLinux:
- [02:20:07 web01 root@8421841 /etc/yum.repos.d]cPs# rpm -qa | grep release
- cloudlinux-release-7.2-1.el7.x86_64
- But your kernel is a CentOS provided kernel:
- [02:21:59 web01 root@8421841 /etc/yum.repos.d]cPs# uname -a
- Linux web01.hostingsurfer.com 3.10.0-327.36.3.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Oct 24 16:09:20 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
- Also the kernel hasn't been updated since October, 2016 most likely due to your mismatched operating system and yum repositories.
- Again, before any actions can be taken to correct your yum issue, you either need to fully license this machine for CloudLinux (and install the CloudLinux kernel), or remove CloudLinux and revert your machine to full CentOS.
- Hope this information helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter. Thank you again for your patience.
