  4.
  5. Harlot stood at the helm of his ship, which floated a distance above the atmospheric region of El’ Natu, a planet holding many secrets, but a terrible horrid group of indigenous people. He needed to grab a scripture which remained underground within one of the shrines, of the ancients. It had a map which led him to privy information well kept by the Intergalactic Federation. Typically, he’d go and negotiate attempting to talk his way through a situation as opposed to annihilating, but with a very frustrating defeat and his lack of lucrative positioning, obliteration was his best option less he turn into lunch meat for the planets carnivorous vegetation…
  6. At the command bay stood his crew, a kind hearted and keen pilot by the name of Volar, steered the ship closer in as they began to enter the atmosphere. Ignus and Cyngus the maniacal twin brothers armed the weapons systems and shield calibrations; orders to them were typically “fire at will” however this time Harlot had the plan of ending the entire species with a single calculative shot to wipe out everything on the planet. As they got closer to breaking the atmosphere and reaching the mesosphere, the captain of the Bellandy called to the last un-introduced member of his crew, Nora, the sassy, voluptuous co-captain of the crew, and the ships engineer surprisingly enough. “Well Nora, how do you think we’ll fare after this?” he questioned sardonically considering he knew the answer to his own inquiry. Bellandy, knowing this as well still answered with a present scoff and air of discontent about her as she did, “The Valerio-Drive will be completely blown out, and without that power to the main capacitor will cease. If you aren’t landing ten minutes after this little “Genocide” act then we’ll be a heap of ash with the rest of the people on this planet.” She proclaimed before leaving the command bay returning to her quarters.
  7. It was a challenging task which required great concentration and understanding the consequences and risks presumably following. “You hear that boys!?” the captain exclaimed slamming his hands on the railing surrounding his captain’s chair as he stood. “We got one shot at this! Now I know I didn’t hire a bunch of inbred, so if we die, I’m docking all of your pay for the next month!” he called out in jest to keep his crew in good spirits. Relaxation was key, pressure and disturbance created confliction and frustration which could mean death for not only Harlot but the rest of his crew as well. “How’s it looking Ignus?” he asked sternly as they halted their descent.
  8. “The weapon is ready to fire on your mark Cap’n.”
  9. “Good.” The concerned man said with confidence before uttering one simple word…
  10. “Fire.”
  11. The power from the Valerio drive fueled what was called a Catastrophic Calamity Device, or “C.C.D” for short. Very few ships were capable of firing off one, let alone doing so without destroying the ship as well, but Bellandy was a genius, and by mixing the D.N.A tracing effects of the C.C.D with the properties of Anti-Matter and her own invention, the Ideal Engine, they were able to temporarily nullify the recoil of such a devastating weapon and still reduce and entire population to nothing in a matter of mere moments.
  12. “Shields engaging.” Called out Cygnus whilst Volar began to operate the controls again tending to the ships altitude. From the ship came a wave of miniscule orbs obsidian in color and seemingly infinite in number. The wave crashed into the planet extending and covering the world’s surface in its matter reducing reaches as it targeted each and every member of the inhabiting race.
  13. Due to the alterations of the original design there was no blast radius for the attack, and the destruction of the planet was far easier to calculate and control as opposed to before. In a matter of minutes half the planet had been covered by the C.C.D and within a few more it dissipated, turning into nothing but a black gas to be absorbed by the ship, which without fail was landing with only sixty-seconds to spare. Turning off the engines and shutting down the ship meant total success, and as the last of the lights went off the crew’s cheers burst into the air filling the space of the command bay with excited shrill cries.
  14. “That’s how it’s done, right there!” called the captain to his crew giving a round of applause as their job was almost done.
