"Oy, Newall, go get Pete, we're going to head back." One of the Limey boys says, waving him towards the house where Pete was interrogating IRA suspects. Newall replies with a quick OK sign before making a quick jog over to the house.

"Pete, come on, we're jetting!" Newall calls from the door, staring down the hallway until Pete comes stomping from the living room, obviously upset over something.

"These IRA bastards don't know how to fuckin' hide a lie, I know they're storing weapons somewhere." Pete says, brows furrowed and voice heavy with malice.

"Hey mate, don't take it too rough, alright?" Newall says, patting Pete on the shoulder before returning the hand to the FN-FAL.

All the sudden, Newall drops, his ears ringing and his mind blanking on him. Pete screams suddenly and grabs Newall to try and drag him to cover, but ends up having to abandon him as puffs of dirt are thrown up around them. Newall tries to get up, but his legs remain still, he tries to roll over using his momentum, but his lower half refuses to cooperate.

"Holy shit..." It hits Newall like the same projectiles being shot at him.

"I've been shot."

As Newall's hearing returns, the sound of gunfire ringing through the narrow streets bounces off of the walls of the apartments and slams Newall's eardrums relentlessly.

The young Brit manages to turn his head to the left and spots several Limey boys lined up behind a wall with one leaning around and laying down fire on a target that lies beyond Newall's sight. Suddenly, the gunfire dies down and Newall is rolled over and dragged towards the position of the Limey boys.

".... Get him... Another mag.... In that windo-...." Several phrases seem to fade in and out of Newall's hearing as he starts to struggle with staying keen on what's happening.

"Wha-aaa.... Where are...." Newall tries to piece together questions to help him get a better idea of the situation but his jaw refuses to correspond with his commands, acting like a malfunctioning machine and jutting instead of fluently moving like normal.

"Get him out!" One of the voices manages to reach Newall's ears, sending terrifying thoughts through his head of how bad his condition really is.

The thoughts are cut short however, while his head is facing towards a corner of the wall, Newall spots a black mask peaking around the corner towards the backs of the British.
