- So I put in a grocery order at Wal-Mart, where I just go there and pick it up the order.
- Somehow, a big ol’ brick of Velveeta cheese ended up in my order, which I did not order.
- I only used a tiny part of it for this recipe, and I still don’t know what to do with the rest of it, so I am open to suggestions!
- But I decided: So whenever I make Kraft Dinner (“macaroni & cheese” to you people-who-haven’t-live-in-Canada), I add some shredded cheddar cheese to it. Just a handful. And it really adds to it, makes it actually taste like cheese a little.
- So how about, I add the velveeta cheese to that as well?
- The 3 Cheese, 1 Cheese Macaroni & Cheese.
- (1 cheese, both because they are all ostensibly cheddar-flavored products, and also because only 1 of them is cheese.)
- So I made the Kraft Dinner as normal.
- After you drain it, add the butter first. Then add the powder and milk at the same time.
- Completely stirred that in before I did anything else.
- Then added like an inch of the Velveeta cheese? It is very tall, so this was not a small amount of it, but I still have soooo much of it that I don’t know what to do with. I cooked that on low heat, stirring it in constantly.
- Then I added a handful of shredded cheese.

- And it’s… fine? Tastes exactly how you’d expect: way too much like Velveeta cheese. So maybe I used too much.
- Anyway, guess I gotta go clean up my kitchen, figure out how to even store the Velveeta cheese… or maybe I should just throw it out.
- Thanks for reading.
