- Taurox (AB-611 Pattern) “Toro”
- Origin of Pattern:
- The AB-611 Pattern “Toro” is a locally sanctioned adaptation of the standard Taurox armoured carrier chassis, incorporating recovered Standard Template Construct derivatives and pre-Compliance wheeled armoured car design elements.
- The pattern was approved for limited production following demonstrated battlefield efficacy by the Praetorian Combined Companies during compliance and internal pacification operations on outer-rim desert and ash waste worlds.
- Intended Role
- The Toro exists to do three things:
- 1. Deliver infantry where the enemy does not want them.
- 2. Distract the enemy while something larger lines up a killing shot.
- 3. Create panic in infantry who believed they had time to prepare.
- If advancing in concert with Leman Russ elements, the Toro moves first.
- If advancing alone, it moves faster.
- Hesitation defeats the point.
- “Where the Toro goes, the line bends. Where it stops, the enemy breaks.”
