[21:41] <[NPC]Narrator> [Slowly, the sun begins to shine again on the city of Breslau. The rays tint a metallic blue car, in the middle of a small clearing between buildings, a little orange as the day progresses. Nothing really happened after everyone went to sleep, though the sound of gunfire, low pops and engines never really went away.]
06[21:42] * [kiri]Dia rises. It's the duty of the maid to wake early and prepare what master needs.
06[21:42] * [kiri]Dia realize that this is not the house, so there's not much to prepare.
[21:42] <[kiri]Dia> *groan*....
06[21:42] * Raymond stirs, just a little. Is it already morning...?
06[21:42] * [Ora]Mia has been up.. she's been keeping rounds, making sure nothing bad happens.
06[21:43] * [kiri]Dia stretches.
[21:43] <[kiri]Dia> Mmmmmnnngh.
06[21:43] * Raymond realizes he's lying on something quite soft. Wasn't he supposed to be in- Hm? What's this?

[21:46] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Good morning you two... it's still early so.. get some more rest if you need to.

06[21:46] * [Ora]Mia smiles as she checks around for any activites that may have happened in the dark.
06[21:46] * [Rut]Ilsa sleeps on the other side of the car, propped up in a sitting position by the tire, hands around one knee. The rifle is leaned up against the door beside her.
06[21:46] * [kiri]Dia shake her head to get rid of drowsiness.
01[21:47] <Raymond> Morn'... Mia... Dia-whoa!
[21:47] <[kiri]Dia> what need doing?
06[21:47] * Raymond scrambles off of Dia, thrashing for a second and falling over.
[21:47] <[kiri]Dia> Ah, Ray.
06[21:47] * [kiri]Dia giggles.
[21:48] <[kiri]Dia> It's okay. I not dislike.
01[21:49] <Raymond> 14Yow... my head... 1You seen my glasses, Dia?

06[21:49] * Raymond takes them and puts them on, but doesn't turn to face her.
01[21:50] <Raymond> ...Yeah, I'm better. Where's that... that... Katherine? Seen her?
06[21:52] * [Ora]Mia returns. Everything looks good.. no undeads here!

06[21:53] * [kiri]Dia shakes her head.
[21:53] <[Ora]Mia> ..14 Check inside the car Sir Raymond?
01[21:54] <Raymond> Sure. Not like she could've gone anywhere...
06[21:54] * [kiri]Dia pop some herbal candy into her mouth. This is an alternate method of brushing teeth. Well, gotta endure until we reach next place.
06[21:54] * Raymond gets up, stretching.
01[21:54] <Raymond> I'll start the engine, we should have somewhere to go today.
06[21:54] * [kiri]Dia gets up as well.
[21:54] <[kiri]Dia> Eat first? I can go warm ration.
06[21:55] * Raymond goes back around to the front of the car, opening the hood from the side and tinkering with the engine.
01[21:55] <Raymond> Up to you, but something to eat in general would be fine.
[21:55] <[kiri]Dia> Dried yellow rope food, okay?
06[21:55] * [kiri]Dia probably means instant noodles.
06[21:56] * [Rut]Ilsa remains sitting against the side, motionless. Almost eerily so.

06[21:57] * [Ora]Mia walks over to wake this person up as well... She nudges ever so slightly as to not rudely awaken them.
06[21:57] * [Rut]Ilsa doesn't give even the slightest response.
06[21:57] * [kiri]Dia wait for confirmation from Ray.
[21:58] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Ilsa... please wake up.. or they'll eat your flesh...
06[21:58] * [Ora]Mia shakes her some more.
06[21:59] * [kiri]Dia get the camping stove out, and starts boiling water.
[21:59] <[kiri]Dia> La la la~
01[21:59] <Raymond> Yeah, that'll be fine. Let's see here..
06[22:00] * Raymond tinkers a little more and then closes the hood back down, reaching inside the car for his dossier.
06[22:00] * [Rut]Ilsa falls over sideways, sliding down the side of the car. She hits the ground with a subtle thump. If she's breathing, she isn't making any noise, nor does her chest rise and fall.
[22:00] <[Ora]Mia> Wahh!
[22:01] <[kiri]Dia> ?!
06[22:01] * [kiri]Dia turns to the noise, halting whatever she's doing.
06[22:01] * [Ora]Mia checks her pulse.
06[22:03] * [Rut]Ilsa has no apparent pulse on her wrist.
[22:04] <[Ora]Mia> 14 oooh... this is bad....
06[22:05] * Raymond leafs through the papers, still a little absent-mindedly.
01[22:06] <Raymond> Well... looks like today we'll be leaving the blue zone, so I guess we all need to keep on our toes.
06[22:06] * [kiri]Dia just shrug it off and get back to work.
06[22:06] * [Ora]Mia lays her down completely... she looks ready to perform CPR.
06[22:06] * [kiri]Dia throw the whole instant noodle package into the pot.

06[22:08] * [Rut]Ilsa eyes flicker open abruptly as Mia climbs on.

06[22:09] * [Ora]Mia leans down slowly..
06[22:09] * [kiri]Dia took a while, but finally finished with the food.

06[22:12] * [Rut]Ilsa 's eyes open wide. Though previously pale, goes to beet red in a split second.

01[22:13] <Raymond> Oh, boy. Just what I need... first...
06[22:13] * Raymond peers over to the other side of the car.
06[22:15] * [Ora]Mia looks down at her would be victim..

06[22:16] * [Rut]Ilsa is wordlessly staring up in shock.
[22:16] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Are you ok?...

06[22:16] * [kiri]Dia absentmindedly present the bowl of yelowy substance at Raymond.

06[22:17] * Raymond takes it, but doesn't start eating just yet.
06[22:18] * [Rut]Ilsa scrambles out from under Mia and to her feet. She starts straightening her tie in attempt to hide her embarrassment.
01[22:18] <Raymond> You know, I rather wouldn't ask for an explanation, given I'm not your formal boss, but... I would rather know.
[22:18] <[Rut]Ilsa> E-e-excuse me...
[22:18] <[Ora]Mia> 14 N-no.. I thought Ilsa was.. hurt... she looks... fine now.. I think.

06[22:18] * [Ora]Mia looks at Raymond just as confused as they are.
06[22:18] * [kiri]Dia gives two more to Mia and Ilsa.
[22:18] <[Rut]Ilsa> Ahem... y-yes. I apologize. I'm a heavy sleeper.
06[22:20] * [Rut]Ilsa is quite obviously hiding -something-.
06[22:20] * [Ora]Mia kisses her slightly and then gets off from her.

06[22:23] * [Rut]Ilsa is dazed.
06[22:24] * [Rut]Ilsa snaps back to reality.
06[22:24] * [kiri]Dia put the rest on the car hood, in case the other wants more.

06[22:25] * [Ora]Mia helps herself to the thin yellow noodles, she devours them with some haste as she's been starving for a while now,
06[22:25] * [kiri]Dia still humming happily while packing up the portable stove.
[22:28] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Hello Raymond, slept well?
06[22:29] * [Ora]Mia finished her noodle some moments ago.
01[22:29] <Raymond> Well enough. Had a strange dream, though.
06[22:29] * Raymond goes through his share rather quickly, but leans on the car and waits for Ilsa.
06[22:32] * [Rut]Ilsa seems to pick up on the gesture and nods.
01[22:32] <Raymond> As good as it was bad, so it's tough to describe.
[22:32] <[Ora]Mia> 14 They say.. dreams are sometimes premontions to the future...
06[22:33] * [Rut]Ilsa slings the rifle across her chest and climbs into the driver's seat.
01[22:35] <Raymond> No, it was some old memories of mine.\
06[22:36] * Raymond starts taking the bowls and such, putting it in the trunk, before walking over to the other of the car and standing next to the door.
01[22:36] <Raymond> ...Well, after you.
[22:37] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Do you want to ride the front?
06[22:38] * Raymond shrugs.
[22:38] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Ok~ I'll ride front then~
06[22:39] * [Ora]Mia hops up.
06[22:40] * Raymond gets in the back with Dia in tow, gently propping Katherine against the other side.
06[22:43] * [Ora]Mia rolls down the window.
01[22:43] <Raymond> By the way, Ilsa, this is a steam car. You know how the car works?
06[22:43] * [Rut]Ilsa shakes her head.
[22:44] <[Rut]Ilsa> I've not operated a steam-run one before.

[22:46] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Oh.. I have.. I can tell you the basics...
06[22:48] * [Rut]Ilsa looks over the controls.
06[22:49] * Raymond leans over the seats, moving a few switches.
01[22:49] <Raymond> Now, hit the clutch.
06[22:51] * [Rut]Ilsa follows instructions.
[22:52] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Oh.. don't forget this part too
06[22:53] * [Ora]Mia points our a small but crucial step too.
06[22:54] * [Rut]Ilsa follows along, looking determined (which she is naturally oblivious to.)
01[22:54] <Raymond> Hm, you should be good to go. Let's head out.
06[22:57] * [Rut]Ilsa starts moving cautiously before seeming to hit a comfort level. She gets fully underway.
[22:59] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Wow.. you're good~... most people would have killed the car by now.
06[23:00] * Raymond works to get back to his seat, but slips and lands on Mia.
01[23:00] <Raymond> Oof!
06[23:01] * Raymond scrambles to get back, once making it trying his best to act like it didn't happen.
01[23:03] <Raymond> So... um... take this road until you reach Gartenstrasse, the blue zone ends a little before that. Once there, we can take a right to meet up with this cavalry unit.
[23:04] <[Rut]Ilsa> Got it.
[23:05] <[Ora]Mia> 14 W-wahh..
[23:05] <[Ora]Mia> R-raymond?
06[23:05] * [Ora]Mia was spaced out.
06[23:07] * Raymond just leans back into his seat. Apparently he's thinking again.
06[23:08] * [Ora]Mia turns back to him for a moment to look at him and giggles before turning back to the front, looking out the window.
[23:09] <[NPC]Narrator> [As you get closer to the end, military vehicles and soldiers appear more frequently and the sounds become more distinct. In particular, you start noticing wounded soldiers walking back; the better off hold gauze onto their wounds while the worse off are carried on stretchers.]
[23:10] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Oh my...
06[23:10] * [Ora]Mia looks at the injured folks but can do nothing to help them... she waves back though.
06[23:11] * [Rut]Ilsa hides her horror well, giving no indication other than gripping the wheel tighter.
06[23:12] * Raymond turns more serious, looking back to the map to distract himself.
01[23:12] <Raymond> 14A couple roads down...
[23:13] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Raymon and Ilsa?..
06[23:14] * [Ora]Mia keeps looking forward.
06[23:15] * [Rut]Ilsa approaches the turn.
[23:16] <[NPC]Narrator> [Just at the end of the blue zone, you see something in particular before you move on and turn on the next street; three soldiers stand over one in a stretcher, on the ground, thrashing. One of them draws a pistol, covers his eyes with his arm and shoots the one on the ground.]
[23:17] <[Ora]Mia> ...15.. one of them already?..
06[23:18] * Raymond looks away, back at focusing as hard as he can on the map.
06[23:19] * [Rut]Ilsa finds herself unconsciously slowing down, eyes glued on the scene. She quickly realizes her error, fumbling with the gear and speeding back up through the turn.
06[23:20] * [Ora]Mia ahems.
[23:20] <[Ora]Mia> You two..and Dia too..
01[23:20] <Raymond> Turn here, then head straight for a couple blocks- eh?
[23:20] <[Ora]Mia> Do not worry yourself after everyone here... do so.. and you'll only end up losing yourself.
01[23:21] <Raymond> ...You're probably right.
06[23:22] * [Rut]Ilsa remains stoic, but nods in acknowledgement.
[23:24] <[NPC]Narrator> [As you proceed, the hum of engines gradually develops into a roar. Just a little off, you can clearly see a large group of men and vehicles milling about, seemingly detached from the activity carried out by the rest of the soldiers you've been seeing.]
01[23:25] <Raymond> 14Shouldn't they have been a little further out?. 1Ilsa, over there, I think.
[23:26] <[Ora]Mia> 14 They're....lost....
[23:26] <[Rut]Ilsa> Hm.
06[23:27] * [Rut]Ilsa pulls up.
06[23:28] * [Ora]Mia gets out as soon as the car stops... she takes in the surrounding.
[23:28] <[NPC]Narrator> [The area is swarming with soldiers and vehicles. Infantrymen, reconnaissance vehicles, jeeps, halftracks, and especially tanks. They all move with an air of determination, but the men you can see look rather relaxed. All of the vehicles, for some reason, are inscribed with the letters VV.]
06[23:29] * Raymond gets out of the car, though Dia stays put, taking in the scenery. What is this?
[23:30] <[Ora]Mia> 14 ...VV?...
06[23:31] * [Rut]Ilsa gets out and shifts the gun to hang from one shoulder uneasily.
01[23:31] <Raymond> Well, I suppose we should start by asking someone where their commanding officer is, see if we get info from there. What do you think?
06[23:31] * [Ora]Mia nods.
[23:31] <[Ora]Mia> 14 This place... I feel something is watching us..please be careful.
06[23:36] * Raymond approaches a passing soldier, who regards him with only partial interest and seems to look through him.
01[23:37] <Raymond> Excuse me, but may I inquire as to where the commanding officer is?
[23:38] <[NPC]Soldier> The command tank's over there.
06[23:38] * [NPC]Soldier points to a tank, a little bigger than the others, that has a white band painted around the turret. It moves at an intermediate speed, though the turret still turns and fires its machine gun at some windows.
01[23:40] <Raymond> Well, seems that's it. Care to accompany me?
06[23:40] * [Ora]Mia waves at the solider with unseen energy.
[23:40] <[Ora]Mia> 14 Of course..
06[23:41] * [NPC]Soldier smiles at Mia and tips his helmet as if it were a hat before moving on.
[23:42] <[Ora]Mia> 15 I know that soldier...
06[23:42] * [Ora]Mia giggles.
06[23:42] * [Rut]Ilsa stays close to Raymond, warily gripping the rifle's strap with one hand and retrieving a cigarette with the other.
06[23:42] * Raymond walks towards the indicated tank, which has since slowed to a stop.
[23:45] <[NPC]Soldier> [Looking up reveals two people on the turret, both in some foreign officer's uniform you haven't seen before. One, a broad-shouldered man with some headphones and coming out of the turret hatch, currently looks forward through some binoculars. The second, an impressively voluptuous woman with a grenade launcher resting idly under her right hand, sits on the rear edge while looking around.]
[23:48] <[Ora]Mia> Ohh!
[23:48] <[Ora]Mia> You're that lady!
06[23:48] * [Ora]Mia is rather surprised.
[23:49] <[NPC]Officer> [Both the officers turn, seemingly a little surprised at seeing civilians address them.]
[23:50] <[NPC]Officer> [The man from the hatch is the first to speak.]
[23:50] <[NPC]Officer> Who?
[23:51] <[Ora]Mia> H-her... that... are you lady Carazza?
06[23:51] * [Ora]Mia is sorta eager and yet anxious to see this person.
01[23:52] <Raymond> [The woman smiles, a little knowing in her expression.]
[23:52] <[NPC]Officer> Well, I certainly didn't expect this.
06[23:53] * [NPC]Officer swings her legs over and uses the momentum to vault directly off of the tank and onto the ground. Her breasts bounce notably when she lands.
[23:54] <[NPC]Officer> Hello! I'm... Carraza, colonel of the regiment. What brings you here and looking for me?
06[23:55] * [Rut]Ilsa 's eyes narrow slightly at the display. Damn...
[23:56] <[Ora]Mia> A-ah. I'm the medic who looks after the soldiers at the AE-1 outpost right outside the city ma'am.

06[23:57] * ColonelCarraza is a tall, curvaceous woman with long black hair whose uniform appears peculiar for the use of a peaked lapel. A patrol cap hides her eyes. She thinks for a second, then chuckles.
[23:58] <ColonelCarraza> Well, good to have you here. What brings you out here, though? AE-1 ends a few blocks that way.
06[23:58] * ColonelCarraza points in the direction you came from, though she looks honestly curious.
[23:59] <[Ora]Mia> O-oh.. I'm just here... this man wants your attention though.
06[23:59] * [Ora]Mia points to Raymond.
[00:00] <ColonelCarraza> Hm...
06[00:01] * Raymond is a little surprised at the sudden address, but composes himself in a few seconds. He takes a paper out from his dossier, handing it to the Colonel.
01[00:02] <Raymond> Professor Duvall, Raymond M. I'm sorry, but I don't know if you've been told about what I'm doing... the details should be there, if you haven't been given them already.
06[00:03] * [Ora]Mia falls back to where Ilsa is at.
[00:03] <ColonelCarraza> Duvall... I'll check communications and directives, though I think we have a message from a few hours ago. These girls with you?
06[00:03] * ColonelCarraza points at Mia and Ilsa.
06[00:04] * Raymond just nods.
[00:05] <ColonelCarraza> Well, let's see what I can do for you. We're cleaning up here, so I could use a second to learn just who I'm dealing with.
06[00:06] * ColonelCarraza turns to face the girls, smiling but saying nothing. She seems friendly enough, but her gaze feels like it can look right into you.
06[00:08] * [Rut]Ilsa meets the Colonel's eyes when they fall on her, as neutral as ever.
06[00:08] * [Ora]Mia simply waves back and smiles.
[00:10] <[Rut]Ilsa> Ilsa Schneider. I am accompanying Professor Duvall for the time being. Nice to meet you.
[00:11] <ColonelCarraza> Schneider, is it. Are you from here?
[00:12] <[Rut]Ilsa> No ma'am.
[00:15] <ColonelCarraza> Sorry, sorry. I'm not from here either, so I can have trouble telling. Well, I'm the commanding officer; if you need anything let me or my executive officer know. The Captain shows up... just about whenever she's needed, somehow, so we'll see. I've got to finish this up here, so after that we can have a better conversation. I hope you don't mind, but there isn't much to do.
[00:15] <[Ora]Mia> 14 No problem.. take care..
[00:16] <[Rut]Ilsa> I understand.
06[00:16] * ColonelCarraza turns back up to the other officer back on the tank.
[00:17] <ColonelCarraza> Lieutenant, I'll need an artillery strike forward of our position for a block or two; it should help clear it out.
06[00:18] * Raymond whispers to the girls.
01[00:18] <Raymond> 15What do you think? I'm not sure what impression I get of her...
06[00:19] * [Rut]Ilsa crosses her arms thoughtfully.
[00:21] <[Rut]Ilsa> 15She's not ordinary, for a CO. And this isn't an ordinary operation. It may not be a coincidence.
[00:21] <ColonelCarraza> [A few moments after her officer acknowledges and starts speaking into a radio piece, some whistling appears and not long after you start hearing explosions, very clearly, from the adjacent blocks. None of the soldiers seem very surprised, least of all the Colonel.]
06[00:22] * [Ora]Mia says without thinking.
[00:23] <[Ora]Mia> 14 She does what she needs to get done without much hassle.
01[00:25] <Raymond> Hm.
[00:26] <ColonelCarraza> Well, while we're at this, I hear that it's actually pretty quiet outside the red line. Can't say I've spent much time there, so out of curiosity, is it true?
[00:28] <[Ora]Mia> It is.
06[00:28] * [Ora]Mia nods.
[00:30] <ColonelCarraza> Ah, I see. Well, we just have to wait for these buildings to clear and then we can move on. Where are you all headed?
06[00:30] * [Rut]Ilsa says nothing, but her lips thin slightly. Small talk?...
01[00:31] <Raymond> Ah. Erm... Sector ARN.
06[00:32] * ColonelCarraza turns more serious.
[00:33] <ColonelCarraza> There's hardly anything there, Professor. I'd ask what you were up to but I'll probably check the latest transmissions instead. Just a second, then...
[00:36] <[Ora]Mia> I have.. some things I need to take care of here.. have you seen a rather odd peculiar house of a purple-ish color?
[00:36] <ColonelCarraza> Purple-ish... Maybe. Wasn't in the residential areas, was it?
06[00:39] * [Ora]Mia nods.
[00:41] <ColonelCarraza> I'll see what I can do, but there's little leeway if it isn't in the route we're taking. Let me know the address or something later, and we'll see then.
06[00:41] * ColonelCarraza walks off, taking steps that seem measured and giving some orders as she goes. On one occasion, she stops to shoot a grenade through a window before continuing on with the same appearance of determination.
01[00:44] <Raymond> ...So that's the Colonel the dossier talked about. Hm.
[00:45] <[Ora]Mia> 14 That's right.. she's kinda cold at first.. but a nice lady though.
[00:47] <[Rut]Ilsa> She... doesn't -seem- like a bad sort.
