Long ago, within the Temple of Origins, a warning was written by our great creator:
The Chaos known as Ekmidenisi will be beckoned to this world should a being born of both light and dark be born. When such an abomination is born, the Chaotic One will once again descend upon this world.

For millennia, it appeared that such a prophecy was merely a legend. A warning to prevent the intimate mingling amongst the Magicam. But thirty years ago, this legend proved to be far truer than we had ever believed.

In a small village located within the heartland of the Mundi Demagorum, a child was born——a child born of both the light and the dark.

Upon his arrival to this world, the Temple of Origins was struck by a bolt of lightning, creating a crack on the seal of the Unspoken Ones. Thus, the first trumpet signaling the end of times was sounded…
The village that hosted this child was engulfed in an unholy flame the moments after the child’s birth; in its heart was the serpent of chaos itself. Many perished within the flames, and many who survived were left unstable when they gazed upon the Unspeakable One.

Realizing their mistake, the parents of the child decided to do all they can to bring an end to the madness they had unleashed.  Using their child as a vessel, they used every bit of magic that was given to them upon the day of their own births, and created a seal powerful enough to lock away the serpent of chaos within the body of their son at the cost of their lives.

When the dust settled, many of those who survived attempted to kill the child, thinking that by destroying the vessel, the beast could be slain as well. However, the guardian deity of the Mundi Demagorum stepped in before such a barbaric action could be taken.

In an attempt to appease the victims of the disaster, the people decided to banish the child to the world of mortals, far from the realms of magic.

This child has now grown from an infant that signaled the end of times, to a man who endows knowledge upon the children of the mortal world. Even now, he remains unaware of what occurred long ago, and has no clue as to his parentage.

But the winds of fate are drawing conflict towards him. The oracles speak of a great threat approaching, one that will take that cursed child and use the chaotic energies within him to bring judgment on all who oppose them, in both the mortal world and our own.

We, the Script Keepers pray that we will be able to survive this time of judgment...
