  1. Kiki - The plated vigilant walked about, mace firmly hoisted over shoulder with mind and body at the ready. His sky blue eyes canvassed not the walls, nor the masses, but a worthy foe poised afore him. An evident scowl began to stretch across the battle-tossed
  2. soldier's face, as his divine energies started to seethe from his very core. Quickly did Gillantras tug right hand downwards, grasping onto the metallic body of the war-hammer as it descended to waist level. Golden cinders righteously danced and flickered
  3. in sporadic crescendos and presence of combat, it thirsts, craving the thrill of true competition once more. Resonating thuds from the chompers planted in the mystical arena sent light ripples exuding from the epicenter of the clad knight. Taking a
  4. momentary lapse of time to himself, in a hushed tone, did he speak. The unintelligible spell-gutter seemed to be of no harm as the shadows within the visage donned gave no implication of his doings until the act was done. Violent, radiant streams of gold adorned with red pigment, flew inwards towards Gillantras' core. "Invictus!" chanted the Templar, as the blessing bequeathed a boon of strength, visibly augmenting the form of the paladin. He, now about middle of the field, held fast, at the ready for an
  5. incoming barrage from the invasive monk.
  6.
  7. Alek - | 'Twas the nature of a combative monk to take stance once entering the arena, Matclamly officially doing so well before the paladin began his march towards the center. It was unbecoming of a monk to make a first move, but battles before did not pose as much as a threat as this one did now. He stood, eyes glaring from under his silver and blue cap, eyeing the plated figure as he now stood in the center of the arena. Not much came from the monk in response, only a shift in his statue like posture now in a more aggressive like manner compared to before. The lips of the experienced fighter moved slowly, as if mouthing the words to some spell, though no sound came; a flash of energy, spiritual in nature, came around the monk, his figure beginning to glow in a mild hue of teal and white. He stood, bound to stand as he would until an attack came forth from his plated opponent; and he expected the worst to come.
  8.
  9. Kiki - Experience and skill reflected in the execution of the paladin as he took a moment to respect the nature of his opponent. Left hand dropped grasp of the mace, elongating arm outwards towards the preparing opponent. A sudden stream of ecclesiastical
  10. energies surged about the palm of the warrior's hand. Quickly did it vector outwards, unraveling a cone of pure white, divine energies. The rapid execution and luminescence of the spell feasibly had enough energy to blind the monk alone. However, the potency of this magic seemed to take more of a metaphysical effect, and seemed not to hurt the monk at all. 'Twas a dispel of sorts used by the cautious knight. Gillantras used this time to invoke something by the monks now challenged field of vision
  11. field of vision. He and lunged off left heel, with mace sanctioned close to the ground. Just as he'd reach the threshold near, but far enough away from the user, the other senses of the monk would kick into play. Knowing this in advance, Matclamly found
  12. himself in a drowning swathe of sounds. The horrid, antagonizing discord of sound gave no quarter to the eardrums which were assaulted by holy energies. This seemed to displace the monk in all sense of the word. Suddenly, he found himself standing with a
  13. reflection of his past. A dark, inner truth of searing conviction. The gelid clutches of caged demons shattered, and the past began to flood the Monk. Meanwhile, physically, wrathful cinders began to make manifest about Matclamly's accouterments, setting
  14. him ablaze.
  15.
  16. Alek - stood with attention, yet with ease all the while; knowledge of a difficult battle lingered in his mind, yet worry seemed to be completely void. As the energies began to manifest, his right palm extended outwards, not with haste, but normally, and his eyes closed for a moment as they began to invade his form. He stood for the moment, unmoving, effected for a moment by what was expected by the paladin, though it did not go completely as planned. The energies formed around the monk began to move around him, going faster and faster by the second before it seemed to completely enclose him in Chi. His eyes remained close and his mind seemed to remain calm, visions did indeed come to his mind and things were heard as expected, but all seemed to be silence with a sudden ring, similar to a bell, as the energies about him erupted into multiple directions about his form. His body did not become ablaze, though the cinders indeed touch him; the erupted energies soon turning into a soothing mist that once again came about his form, moving with haste about him, and bringing ease to his form one again. He stood, silently and unresponsive, but the paladin's movements never went unnoticed. The spiritual energies throughout his body painted a map of his location, so too did it paint a map of the area of which he stood, the air of which he breathed, all connected within the spiritual center of his body. For even if he was blind his senses could gather the information he needed in order to defend himself, even aggressor. With quick movements his body turned, palm moving back before extending with force once again towards the new position of the paladin, a burst of Chi erupting from such action and hurling towards the plated figure. In continence, his leg would extend outwards, before his body seemed to be spun with spiritual energies, only once, causing a thin similar burst from his foot to be sent right after towards the man. With both feet planted onto the ground once again, he stood, stance prepared for another attack from his experienced opponent.
  17.
  18. Kiki - The chi seemed to act null as it came in proximity to the knight. True, he might've seen his spiritual movement and been able to transmute the essence of wrath into purity, but it was evident things went undetected when Gillantras acted. The energies
  19. procuring the chi found its-self absent and faded from existence when in-contact with the ambulating paladin. Suddenly, the rectitude over the cinders grew again, as the light started to regain its threshold about the fighter. The chi about the Fist of
  20. Tranquility started to burn and eradicate from the inseparable connection from the light and its primal essence. Gillantras verbalized in his deep, baritone voice, "Consecutus!" as right food lifted, and collapsed back onto the platform. The ground began
  21. to quake and crack under his wake, sending latent, scorning light from beneath both contestants in form of a violent upheval. Upon contact, the radiant powers eradicated the remnants of the chi barrier by overwhelming the presence. The residue left about
  22. the ground acted as a repetitive jammier or dispel on the being. The aforementioned cinders, by now, began to serve their purpose as exposed to the monk's chi. Nascent flame started to glow with pigments of jade green and red, its principles beginning to adapt and alter its coding relative to the formulation of Matclamly's chi and soul. It was evident, the magic was beginning to build an immunity, and affinity to its maker. It craved his chi, thrived on it, and used it as fuel to begin spreading, but in a
  23. punishing manor. The light's base fabric was beginning to re-write and assemble, turning one positive feed, into that of a negative, pain inflicting burden. If no methods were used to stall or prevent such actions, the acquisition of the magics could
  24. ascend to -very- damaging levels.
  25.
  26. Alek - | These turn of events were unexpected by the monk, the fire and all of it's aspects were even more unexpected coming from a paladin of all sorts. Though the time was dire, he remained relatively calm, simply stepping back a foot at a time while staying in a stance. Suddenly, his body began to radiate once again with Chi, a new aura replacing his aura as the other was extinguished. He bounds backwards, Chi seeming to seep from his body, the orbs around his shoulder and at different parts of his body seeming to burst with energy. His form changes, his full body radiating his connection with his spiritual form, his mobility increasing beyond what it was capable before. The effect placed upon the ground was an annoyance, and served as a barrier between him and his opponent, not much could be done in response due to most magics being canceled. However, cold logic deemed all spells and auras able to be faught, so was true by the symbols now floating around the orbs about Mat' Clamly's body. They began to grow expanding around his own form before launching forward. Once again the sound of a deep, powerful bell would ring true, a eminence amount of chi erupting from the ground and surrounding not only the monk, but the consecrated area of the Paladin and the plated figure as well. A ring of peace rang true, ceasing all magics withing the area, even Mat's own aura was vanquished, but his body still radiated it's Chi. This extensive amount of energy not only came from the monk himself, but from what was available around him, from the world and souls that wandered the area. He stood, his stance shifting, before once again sending a burst of Chi to the paladin, his body flipping forward as his leg extended mid air, his heel striking the ground and causing such action. The blast flew, and regardless of outcome would burst upon contact, the force itself enough even to move a plated figure from their footing, even perhaps onto the ground as well.
  27.
  28. Kiki - Even the analytical and seemingly stoic Gillantras revealed a sliver of bewilderment towards the monk amidst his perspicacious execution. The black jewel set within his necklace flickered, attempting to consume the sensations of peace, but to no avail. He
  29. quirked a brow, the divine essence about his form which warded spells seemingly shattered and dispersed from fragmented shards of a shell, into nothing. A spark of jade filled the eyes of the knight before finding himself battling a shock-wave of kinetic
  30. chi which bore into greave and balance alike. Knees buckled forward, not backward, practically squatting to a relative depth, plate granting, the soften the incoming blast. Gillantras proceeded to bow head of the mace towards the terrace, using such as a
  31. prop to negate the incoming assault in its entirety. Then, like a man walking with a cane, he ambulates left, away from both ring and the monk. A foul retort, in the form of a grunt, to challenge the seemingly calm monk. Gillantras then took a knee
  32. silently canvassing the monk whilst mace, still grounded, was tucked inwards towards right shoulder.
  33. Braden kneels before you.
  34.
  35. Alek - stood strong for the moment, watching over the Paladin for the moment, He raised a brow for his silence, and for his sudden kneeling upon the ground. His stance shifted once again, but his form began to change once again. Covered in Chi-bound energies, his form would become translucent, and a lighter teal in color, his form resembling a spirit in nature. Suddenly, his form erupts, and two, three forms of himself stand around the Paladin. Two of the three then run towards the paladin, their forms begin to spin rapidly, causing a ring to form around them of Chi, and eventually come close to the paladin, yet one figure remains idol of the time, in the center.
  36.
  37. Kiki - A hissing crackle filled the air as the vanguard lunged upwards from his rest. These sparks resonated and flickered with sporadic might and began to assimilate into a resilient bulwark around the entity. As the pieces coagulate, the kinetic force stored
  38. from movement began to condense and line about the inner layer of the holy barrier. The core of drawn force remained at the epicenter of the paladin, as his emotion and will fueled the resolve of the shield which he had procured. Aberrant, cryptic
  39. engravings started to make manifest about his form, the essences of runic engravings started to flare and highlight through his dull adornments. Crimson gems set within fulcrums of his gear started to thrum with boons of power. What was once a shimmering,
  40. gold radiance, began to be saturated with red coloration. The retributionist Gillantras started to rear his ugly head as the members advanced. He simply began to walk, essence condensed into a set ball or mass which Gillantras, the conduit, fueled to
  41. sustain the growing scale of noteworthy strength and preponderance. As the essences began to collide with his barrier, they'd have little to no avail of it shattering. Daunting rectitude and censure lashed outwards in forms so greatly pronounced by the
  42. light that even some of the most resilient of foes would acknowledge its existence. Then, knowing the twin essences remained in pursuit, Braden balled left hand into fist, spontaneously detonating the barrier among-st the masses in a wave of smiting
  43. justice. The kinetic force alone capable of blowing people onto their asses if near the epicenter of the detonation. Then, breaching speeds that the mind struggles to comprehend and react to, a stream of red and gold washed over the triplets. If it lands, the shear density and concentration of the light could reduce small creatures into singed ash. Which, implied to human-like beings, would have the individual either dead or suffering from vindictive burns before one could even react. Furthermore, the
  44. secondary implications include metaphysical tearing and or near total eradication of the soul without any protection, and all places caught in its fallout seemed to be consecrated in spazzing light.
  45.
  46. Alek - | Stood strongly the third form of Mat' Clamly, staring down the paladin as he walked towards him. The others continued their volley, but to no avail, their attacks came useless compared to the bubble formed around the paladin. The eruption came true, causing all the images of his person to even fly backwards, not expecting such a turn of events. However, two of the images would then disperse, the third seeming to lay on the ground before standing slowly once again. He looked upon the paladin, and nodded with a smirk to acknowledge the attack and it's well planned execution, 'twas not expected. Though, the monk stood, soundly, and the rest of the attack seemed to take no effect. A orb seemed to manifest then, revealing itself in a way, shrouded before by the similar energies roaming the area as the attacks came. Protection was over the monk from the other aliments caused by the paladin, his own body flickered red for a single moment, before once again setting as its normal teal color. "I am the one who walks upon the wind.." He'd begin to say aloud. "I am the one who channels mist to those in need.. Swift, Focus, Strength, all avoided until this moment, a worthy oppentent now standing before my for such respect." Suddenly, his form turned grey in color, even becoming somewhat larger, as if a blessing came upon him, or even was activated. So too did lighting begin to show around his form, the energies all coming together as if his efforts now switched from a defensive stance, to full on aggressive. He stood, his hand extending flat, before his fingers curved in rapidly twice, 'come at me' was the gesture, but if the paladin would respond in such a manor would remain to be seen.
  47.
  48. Kiki - The paladin smirked and did exactly that. With one massive leap he began to vault forward, tucking mace upwards about right shoulder. The essence of intense purity and justice unfurrowed before Matclamly. A bright radiance started to strike at irises as
  49. the built up righteous fury began to transmute into the physical realms. It took the form of a challenging essence which shined so bright, albeit red, that it can be quite blinding and distorting whenever engaging such pent-up wrath. The mace started to
  50. act as if it lives, flaring colors of red and gold in set intervals to create a stunning sense of awe. As Gillantras collapsed onto the location of Matclamly, the monk could feel the light imposing sensations of guilt and giddy anxiety. Now upon the
  51. fighter, he'd stop less than two feet afore the soldier, pivoting on heels to cease movement while twisting torso to transfer momentum into his flamed weapon. A horizontal arc cleaved before him. The righteous essence chastising any chi attempting to
  52. stagger and dampen the aggression from the fighter. If the mace was to hit, the kinetic force easy granted enough force to send the sentinel flying, or cleave through his form entirely. Atop the mounting pressure, a bright light accompanied by a clonal
  53. projectile of condensed holy force shot outwards. Sending a strength augmented beam into the leathery accouterments, through flesh, and out of body. The red glow began to reveal a hidden crimson exoskeleton beginning to manifest.
  54.
  55. Alek - Watched in awe as the paladin made his leap, such act not seen often with those adorned in plate armor. Of course, it came bright to the monk, but his gaze remained, his path clear, so to were his intentions. The paladin landed before him, and little time was spent waiting to see what he would do; time seemed to slow down for the monk as his eyes slowly closed once again, his hand pushing forward slightly, his palm towards the paladin. Any effort at this time would be pointless to use Chi, but such eruption came anyways, causing Mat' Clamly to slide back a ways, though come to no effect really to the one who wore plate. (Similar to the fight between Garrosh and Taren'zu, how ever you spell his name.) He stood, staring at the figure as his strike met not object, a smirk still upon the lips of the monk as his eyes began to radiate a white and golden hue, similar to the one whom he revived blessing from. His form began to shift once again as he stood soundly, his armor seeming to shape and for into something more befitting to one who'd come to attack, not defend. He showed to be more plate bound rather than leather, and his fists seemed to be covered with plate with large knuckles at the end, in the shape of a claw. Both hands came together for a brief time, before extending forward, a shock came about the paladin, mixed with different energies, but strange at the source. The paladin seemed to be somewhat caught in a sense, unable to move for the moment of time, and as if needles stabbed different parts of his body, causing his very nerves to hold strong and not move. The monk himself would leap into the air, a hand arching back, a red mist forming about it. Whatever it was, it didn't look well, and would harm the paladin if he connected to his form, even through his plated attire.
  56.
  57. Kiki - The energies from the righteous fury seemed to eliminate the principles of the paralysis. Like the eyes of an hawk he watched the monk ascend towards the firmament. Gillantras dropped mace and backed right hand downwards. Suddenly, the carmine red essence
  58. of righteous fury quickly transmuted into a form of energy so raw and divine that it almost seemed unfitting for Gillantras. It seemed to make his form unstable, it was the power of divine reckoning. It channeled nigh instantaneously into the right runed
  59. gauntlet of the paladin. Stored force and damage taken by the paladin in battle both mentally and physically seemed to procure this "reckoning bomb", empowered by re-enforcing runic engravings. The ring of strength, sat comfortably about the third finger
  60. flared and gave its boon in the process. All energies, augmentations, blessings, retributionist seal, aura, and reckoning boons centered about the palm of the soldier, one condensed mass of nigh unstoppable divine execution. With the assistance and
  61. guidance of the light did he guide his fist directly into the path of the downing monk, preparing for the greatest physical clash of his days.
  62.
  63. Alek - Comes down at the paladin, his fingers curled into a fist, energies of his own coming to his fist similar to the paladin, but different in nature. The strength and fortitude of the Black Ox was with him as his fist connected to that of the paladin's, an eruption of multiple energies coming from his own for, and unexpectedly from the paladin as well. Mat' Clamly flew back himself and landed upon the ground, scrapping against it for a short distance, a groan coming from his lips as he did so. The iron-like skin around him faded, so too did the appearance he dawned at that time to reveal only himself, once again in his Chi-spewing armor. He came to a knee, slowly, looking to the Paladin to see what became of him as well, he groaned again as an arm grabbed the shoulder of the arm he used to punch, expecting not these turn of events as well. Foot planting firmly on the ground, he stood slowly, holding said shoulder, and awaiting once again. If it was not for the aura and spell he had casted upon himself earlier, His injuries would have far greater, and the effects of the paladin's energies would of done a number onto him as well.
  64.
  65. Kiki - Gillantras flies backwards, his body tossed to the ground with little effort. His arm, seemingly busted and dampened horrendously by the incoming assailant. His fingers seemed to be shattered, arm broke, and mind somewhat unhinged and dumbfounded at the sight as the adrenaline rush lingered. A sudden divine shock came crashing down upon Matclamly, it practically ruptured at his core. The essence and energy stored up, the powers clashing in that one confrontation, let loose a powerful, menacing feedback
  66. from the retributionist's aura. Braden slid left foot upright, stabilizing his form enough to bring about a kneeling state. His arm, wounded, he grasped, and began to mumble, punishingly, a healing spell in hopes to try and go for a possible reset.
  67. However, it seemed to do little good as the echos of light were filled with feeble strands and an absence of exhaustion and fatigue was created.
  68.
  69. Alek - feel to his knees, the divine power attacking him in that instant, nothing to prepare for such assault or even to defend. He clutched his teeth together as the pain came about him, but somehow remained 'calm' in such a state to transpire. "Swift. Focus. Strength..." He pushed through his teeth as his hands grasped at the ground, his shoulder burning with pain after such force was dealt. Suddenly, his eyes slowly closed, energies seeming to form about his being engulfing his his spiritual energy, his entire form seeming to become spiritual, as if an embodiment of Chi. His eyes focused on his opponent once again as the same energies before flickered where his eyes would be. He pushed forward, slightly, and leaned. "The Fist of Tranquility.. Be. Silenced.." He muttered, his essence seeming to almost flash forward, his still able arm pointing forward as two fingers stabbed into the showing neck of the unsuspecting paladin, his nerves and efforts would immediately be shut down, causing him to fall where he was, everything would be silence all but his ability to see and hear, and understand. Regardless, Mat' Clamly fell to his side himself, his energy well spent in this battle.
  70.
  71. (Emote battle ends there, both unable to continue, it ends in a draw.)
