Letting everyone know my Situation

As a streamer, I tend to try to keep my personal life out of what I do gaming wise. However I also see the need to be transparent with everyone, especially if I disappear online for a few weeks.

My grandmother is a very special person to me, and has recently reached the great age of 90. With this though, her heart problems have gotten worse, to the point where she was given an ultimatum - Die peacefully or fight back and go with open heart surgery. My grandmother opted to fight, and will be undergoing a risky surgery soonish (Certainly within the next month or two). I don;t know if she will make it or not, and of course am devastated. At the same time, I am trying my best to be optimistic about the outcome.

In the event something happens, I don't know how I will respond. I may let people know, I may not. I may mourn offline for a while, or I may try to go on. Because of all of this, I may need to cancel my pokemon run I have spent six months preparing for. I hope not, but of course I don't know what circumstances I will be in until then.

I'm not asking for sympathy or personal messages or anything. Most of all please do not bring it up if I am either streaming or talking to another streamer as evidently if I sound cheerful, its because so far nothing bad has happened. I just want to let people know that if I'm not myself over the next month or two...well now you know.
