  1. CraftNation Punishment System and Rules

  3. This is the official document for the CraftNation Punishment System, and the Rules. Violation of these may result in punishment. Please follow these rules to make CraftNation a more fun, kid-friendly, and safe environment to play on. All of these rules will be strictly enforced by members of the staff team. If you would like to report a person who may be violating the rules, please report them here. You must follow the format, which can be found here.

  5. On the CraftNation server, we go by a level offense punishment system. There are three three levels of offenses, and three types of rule violations in-game. You can refer to our rules that are not in game here. Here are the level offenses and their punishment durations.

  12. Level 1 Offense: 30 minutes-3 days

  14. 1st offense: 30 minutes

  16. 2nd offense: 1 hour

  18. 3rd offense: 1 day

  22. Level 2 Offense: 7-14 days

  24. 1st offense: 7 days

  39. There are only two types of offenses in the gameplay violations.

  84. Level 1 Offenses:
  85. (You will be warned before getting punished on a Level 1 Offense).

  87. Excessive Caps: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this punishment can be given to you if you have typed 8 words in all caps.
  88.  
  89. Light spam: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you repeatedly type something in the chat that may be annoying or irrelevant.

  91. Light advertisement: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you mention another server/network name.
  92.  
  93. Light rudeness: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you are talking negatively towards another player(s).

  95. Mini-modding: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you behave like a staff member would while a staff member is online.

  97. Light filter bypass: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you type in a way to get passed our anti-swearing chat filter.

  99. Light argument: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you are arguing with another player(s) excessively, which may disturb/disrupt the other players not involved.

  101. Hackusation: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you accuse a player of hacking in the public chat other than private messaging a staff member, or using /report.

  103. Trolling: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you say something into the chat intentionally to mess with players that may trick them into doing something that is untrue/misleading.

  105. Inappropriate language: You will be given a warning before getting muted; This is when you mention anything sexual related. This also includes mentioning alcohol/drugs, joking about things that shouldn't be joked about, and threatening to harm yourself, or harming another person.

  107. Rioting: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you protest excessively about the server, or something politically related.

  109. Irrelevant/unapproved links: You will be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you post something into the chat a link that does not have to do anything related to CraftNation, or an unapproved link. You can look at a list of our approved links here.

  111. Level 2 Offenses:
  112. (You will not be warned if rules are violated on a Level 2 Offense).

  114. Verbal Abuse/Rudeness: You will not receive a warning before getting muted; this is when you offend, insult, or generally be rude to another player using words that may make the other player feel bad.

  116. Medium Filter Bypass: You will not receive a warning before getting muted; this is when you bypass the anti-swearing chat system to insult or be rude to another player.

  118. Medium advertisement: You will not receive a warning before getting muted; this is when you mention another server's IP or website.

  121. Level 3 Offenses:
  122. (You will not be given a warning before getting punished on a Level 3 Offense).

  124. Discrimination: You will not be given a warning before getting muted; this is when you discriminate another player's race, sex, origins, etc. to make them feel bad.

  126. Threats: You will not receive a warning before getting muted; this is when you threaten another player in a malicious way.

  128. Personal Information Leak: You will not receive a warning before getting muted; this is when you tell another player(s) another player's personal information, which is information that should not be shared with other people.

  130. Severe advertisement: You will not receive a warning before getting muted; this is when you spam and constantly tell a player to join another server by posting their IP a lot.

  132. Scamming: You will not receive a warning before getting muted; this is when you intentionally tell another player to give personal information, or pay real money to get a service, but do not end up getting anything in return.

  134. Level 1 Offenses:
  135. (You may or may not be given a warning before getting punished).

  137. Map exploiting: You will not receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you get an unfair advantage over other players because of an issue in a PvP arena.

  139. Bug exploiting: You will not receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you get an unfair advantage over other players because of a bug/glitch with the server. NOTICE: Duplicating items will result in an instant permanent ban.

  141. Teaming/Cross-Teaming: You will receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you team with someone while PvP-ing to kill more players.

  143. Targetting: You will receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you constantly and intentionally kill one player over and over again.

  145. Inappropriate buildings: You will receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you build an inappropriate gesture, or write out swear words with a block or sign.

  147. Spawn killing: You will not receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you get an unfair advantage over other players by killing them where they spawn after they get killed.

  149. Level 3 Offenses:

  151. Inappropriate username: You will not receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you have an offensive/inappropriate username. You can get unbanned if you change your name.

  153. Inappropriate skin: You will not receive a warning before getting banned; this is when your Minecraft skin has an inappropriate remark on it. You can be unbanned when you have changed your skin.

  157. Level 1 Offenses:

  160. Unapproved modifications: You will not received a warning before getting banned; this is when you play with an unapproved mod on CraftNation. You can find a list of our approved modifications here.

  164. Combat hacking: You will not receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you get an unfair advantage over another player that has to do with combat or PvP.

  166. General hacking: You will not receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you use a hack does not have to do with another player, or movement.

  168. Level 3 Offenses:

  171. Movement hacking: You will not receive a warning before getting banned; this is when you modify your character's movement to get an unfair advantage over other players.
