  3. With my lifestyle considered I am actually rather healthy, as is my family. Very few genetically derived diseases dog my future however I do suffer from severe deficiencies when it comes to lifestyle. These will need correcting with regular exercise and eating out less.
  4. The only disorder I need to be concerned with on a genetic basis is my fair skin putting me at risk for melanoma as both my sister and mother have had it. So proper sunscreen and avoiding prolonged sun exposure should suffice there. However the bulk of my remaining issues revolve around a rich diet and lack of exercise.
  5. To this end I have recommended to myself that eating out should be limited and I should pursue more casual exercise in addition to seeking out some time to put aside for genuine exercise. Preferably fat burning activities like walking, running, cycling, and swimming rather than trying to improve muscle mass. My weight is what I wish to decrease. Many of the issues in my family history are in some way caused by not exercising enough and struggling with weight. While nobody in my family is obese by any means, we do find it hard to keep off weight as we age. Largely from an ability to always find an excuse to not work out.
  6. As such my health plan is to target the behaviors which have made me gain weight by improving diet and finding more time to exercise as well as fitting in more casual activity throughout the day.
