Arguments about it being a metaphor and the science being fine really.

Both a misunderstanding of what was being said by using r/K as a lens in that way, a misunderstanding that it's actually not a clear-cut case of that being an incorrect use of r/K as thew issue is debated/debatable, but also neither because r/K is probably antiquated and not really a metaphor. More of a lens.
