  1. The TROLLIAN EMPIRE runs roughly the same as the ALTERNIAN EMPIRE within canon. The TROLLIAN EMPIRE was ran by an Empress known as Her Imperial Conquera, a Condescension analog that varies from Canon. This Empress did not have a lusus capable of producing the VAST GLUB but earned respect and command of her people through her Skill and Strength. The Hemospectrum operates in the same way as Canon and ALTERNIA is just as harsh of a world to grow up on (and so are its thousands of COLONY PLANETS and SYSTEMS).
  2.
  3. VERDANT was generally entrusted to purplebloods under THE GRAND HIGHBLOOD's employ.
  4. Though this sounds like it would create an incredibly violent culture, this GRAND HIGHBLOOD's strange visions and portents have led him to instruct his augurs to maintain a rather peaceful society on planet. This explains the striking culture difference between the Empire and VERDANT; in addition, the Empress trusted the GRAND HIGHBLOOD to run things smoothly, and concerned herself with little else beyond conquering allowing him to oversee VERDANT however he so saw fit.
  5.
  6. [IS THE GHB LEGALLY DEAD?/VERDANT'S LEGAL TIES TO THE CHURCH]
  7. The Grand Highblood is a title which is passed down to Purples. In order for a Grand Highblood to officially be announced as deceased, the faithful of the church must find his skull and blood. The skull is gifted to the next Grand Highblood, to be added to the Church Throne, and the blood is used to anoint the new Grand Highblood.
  8.
  9. If a Grand Highblood's corpse is destroyed, thereby ensuring a skull and blood cannot be retrieved, the Imperial Throneholder is in charge of declaring that the Grand Highblood is deceased, and electing a new Grand Highblood falls on to the Church's Faithful in conjunction with the Throneholder.
  10.
  11. The Grand Highblood's title is a lifelong title, and cannot be ceded willingly; death must be involved to ensure that a GHB loses their title. The Empress can also declare a Grand Highblood unfit to rule and have him killed.
  12.
  13. As Verdant has neither skull nor blood of the presumed-deceased GHB, his legal status is 'off-planet and voyaging'. It is assumed he will return when he sees so fit or when the Messiahs guide him home. This is a problem because the Legislacerators had to pass all of Verdant's new laws through the Church and the Grand Highblood needed to sign off on them to allow the changes. This caused Rioting until a new Imperial Throneholder took the Throne.
  14.
  15. A New Grand Highblood has not yet been named.
