  7. I'm gonna be honest, the Puggsy leaderboard is looking a little sparse (speedrun.com/Puggsy#Any), so I thought I'd try to offer some incentive. From now until 11:59pm eastern on August 31, 2018, I will give any runner to achieve a sub-28 minute time in Puggsy any% (Genesis/MD NTSC version only) $25 USD (or a month-long $24.99 sub on twitch.tv, if you would prefer). This offer is good for up to FOUR people, and I will only pay out once per person (additional sub-28 runs will not pay out). Additionally, ddrreexx has agreed to match my offer for the first person to claim the bounty, meaning that the first person to claim the bounty is claiming $50 USD.

We would love to help new players get acclimated to this amazing game. The world record as of posting this bounty is 24:25 by me (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6acfLncKS-s), and the record currently demonstrates every best-known strat for the category, so it serves as a useful resource for new runners.

Puggsy is a fascinating game with a sophisticated physics system for its time, and a large part of speedrunning this game is about finding strats that cater to your personal preferences. ddrreexx's personal best (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/261950343) actually utilizes a number of different strats that turn out (surprisingly perhaps) to not make a big difference in time.
