  1. [21:04] Lucien Voss asks, "..And this is, what?"
  2. [21:04] Salthiel lifts one of his hands up, features untold behind the veil of his mask.
  3. (Salthiel Anauel)
  4. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  5.
  6. [21:04] Salthiel Anauel says, "A hunt, vampire."
  7. [21:04] Bai Long says, "..."
  8. [21:04] Lucien Voss says, "Ah. I see. Well, I've a logic puzzle for you."
  9. [21:06] Slowly, Lucien's hand dips into his cloak. It takes no time at all, a flash of pale flesh and sanguine light, for him to reveal a small, black orb- Obviously, an escape bomb. He tosses it up and down in one hand, eyes never quite leaving the four masked individuals before him.
  10.
  11. "Here, in my hand, I have an out. An escape plan. Add this onto my speed already, and it is extremely unlikely that any of you will catch up to me. And if you do, it may only be one. Perhaps two at best. And if that is the case- Will you stand and fight, or lie down and die before your friends can catch up?
  12.
  13. Or will you be reasonable. And turn about and walk away. Because this is not a situation you want to be in. This is not a fight you can win without all four of you to try and take me.
  14.
  15. I am reasonable. Will you be?"
  16. (Lucien Voss)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. [21:10] There was little to no hesitancy in his steps- perhaps it was the safety of numbers. Maybe, the gloom of his mask, the concealing of his identity? Or even more so . . the sensation of, for a first, being the actual monster, the beast that preys upon the unaware and unwary, too courageous and hubrisful to allow themselves the luxe of caution.
  20.
  21. Was that not a wicked feeling? And yet, he relished in it. In the hunt for all that was vile, he indulged to emotions of dissatisfied, unsated bloodlust- the salivating act before the bite reaches for the meal.
  22.
  23. "Then do run, parasite."
  24.
  25. "To keep the leeches off the roads shall be enough."
  26.
  27. A hand rises, and shards of crystalized water hover about the abouts of the cloaked figure's wrist, before they are shot forth in converging arcs that aim to avoid his associates, to curve into the unsighted foe.
  28. (Ban Heifang)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [21:12] test
  32. (Ban Heifang)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [21:12] “A logic puzzle,” responded the androgynous voice.
  36.
  37. However, it hinted none of arrogance, but cold, stoic imposition.
  38.
  39. "How about we discuss rhetoric and principles? Here, in this area, you have an escape plan. And such escape plan is so straightforward as running away from us. Running away, oh great vampire of the north," said the figure as they tilted their face forward.
  40.
  41. "So, if that is the case. Will you stand and fight, or run like the coward you are? You, who boasts the blood of Cain. But, in the end, you are powerless like you kin. Powerless as you run in futility. Because savor it, vampire. Your time is nigh. We will come and you'll never see the light of day. Cower and run," he said before lifting his staff, summoning upon spears of ice, towering about the area in conjunction with the Heifang's magic.
  42.
  43. "Run."
  44. (Salthiel Anauel)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [21:14] "All four combined?"
  48.
  49. It's spoken with a slight tilt of head, and his eyebrows certainly did quirk upwards underneath that mask, if anything. Pale hues are visible as they scan through the Fang before them-- crimson eyes, light strands-- though an unfamiliar form. Even if he knew the names of most, and could put ranks to them-- faces weren't the ones he was familiar with, to say the least.
  50.
  51. "Two at very worst, not a single additional individual required to deal with charming filths such as yourself now, but ah..."
  52.
  53. There's a brief halt. The one before them wasn't particularly wrong-- he could likely escape, from all of them even.
  54.
  55. "If you wish to run, then so be it, we'll try-- might not succeed, though it doesn't change the fact we're here for a reason, and if this wasn't a situation we wanted to be in; we wouldn't be here at first place now, would we?"
  56.
  57. Shifting a tad, he'd remain quiet otherwise-- almost as if waiting.
  58. (Zeriel Heifang)
  59. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  60.
  61. [21:16] Standing in the mix of their cloaked compatriots, gleaming eyes hidden by the mask that adorned their face kept a stare upon the Vampire. It was the first one they had actually met this close up, and it was definitely one that...They had no will to deal with in a one on one.
  62.
  63. No actions were given by Bai immediately, they stood alongside the others, a small voice in their mind constantly complaining about protecting the ones around him. It was incessant, leaving Bai with no time to think of anything else.
  64.
  65. After a cool second past, everyone else finished speaking, "...Only two are needed, it's the truth."
  66. (Bai Long)
  67. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  68.
  69. [21:19] "Only two are needed, ah? Bold words. Very well. If you believe the dribble that pours from the lips of Huangzhou so vehemently, then I wish you only luck in catching up to me. Pray that you are fast.
  70.
  71. And that your friends are faster."
  72.
  73. The hand with the orb is squeezed tight, causing it to rupture and explode outwards with a thick, red smoke. Amongst the already bright, sanguine light, Lucien pools himself into a cloud of crimson blood, aiming to use the shroud to mask himself entirely.
  74.
  75. Any magi could not sense him whatsoever, as if he didn't have any magic whatsoever to his form, as if he were a non magi.. And yet, if one were to pay attention, there are subtle shifts in the lighting, quiet echoes throughout the caverns that could alert them to his presence.
  76.
  77. A simple offer echoes throughout the caverns.
  78.
  79. "Let us dance, if you are able."
  80. (Lucien Voss)
  81. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  82.
  83. [21:19] .
  84. (Lucien Voss)
  85. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  86.
  87. [21:20] Tries to get even remotely close
  88. (Bai Long)
  89. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  90.
  91. [21:22] As soon as the Vampire's form shifts about, Zeriel wouldn't waste a single moment before dashing off, not even waiting to see if others have managed to catch up-- or are even close to doing so, for that matter.
  92. (Zeriel Heifang)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [21:22] Spears and various weapons shaped with ice stabbed up from the ground, in an attempt to halt the Voss' escape. However, his casting was far too slow.
  96.
  97. "Cherish this moment, vampire. You will not survive forever," echoed the figure's voice, in response to the vampire's.
  98. (Salthiel Anauel)
  99. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  100.
  101. [21:24] It was, in the end, unlikely that any of them could shift through the smoke and catch a foe gifted with such celerity. And yet, the relentless, implacable urge to hostilize and brutalize the targets of their brewing rancor only push acts born out of spite into further fruition.
  102.
  103. A snap of his fingers, and even more darts of crystalline fluent materialize about the group's location, gatling towards Lucien's almost aimlessly, as if the objective was not to precisely stalk him, but rather obliterate a target that might have, -perhaps out of heaps of internally accumulated haughtiness-, stayed stationary.
  104.
  105. They have likely perforated into the wall beyond, however.
  106. (Ban Heifang)
  107. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  108.
  109. [21:24] Seeing the orb squeezed, he was expecting a small bang, a simple smoke...They were not expecting such a thick red smoke. Rushing forth, he tried to push past the smoke, aiming to even get a slight hold of the vampire. Yet at almost half the speed of Lucien, they failed, leaving him alongside the fellow cloaked compatriots, staring throughout the dark caverns. wishing to find 'anything'.
  110.
  111. "Damn...Fast vampire, didn't even see his shadow before he went." Cursing slightly they were slightly happy with the outcome, thankful that they did not have to end up in a brutal battle with someone who seemed to be quite strong.
  112. (Bai Long)
  113. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  114.
  115. [21:28] A quick, lightning reflex, to say the least-- he'd dash behind at the simply, brief offer. Palms press against the caverns walls ever so often, if only to balance as he'd zip along, leaving just the softest trail of frigid air in his wake all the while-- attempts are made to slow the Vampire down, perhaps form frost to embrace along those legs of his, or simply freeze for just a split second-- attempts, though. Failed ones, at that, and it isn't long before Zeriel would find himself lagging behind, only capable of watching the Fang's retreating back.
  116.
  117. The halt is abrupt, and there's only a tiny sigh that'd escape him afterwards. Turning around, he'd merely gaze at the others behind him, but...
  118.
  119. ...ah, well.
  120.
  121. "Think more would be on their way?"
  122.
  123. It's a mere murmur, silent otherwise.
  124. (Zeriel Heifang)
  125. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  126.
  127. [21:30] Zeriel Heifang says, "We stay, or leave? "
  128. [21:30] Ban Heifang says, "No point to staying. That took way too long."
  129. [21:30] Bai Long says, "Leave."
  130. [21:30] Bai Long says, "He will tell others."
  131. [21:30] Salthiel Anauel says, "Right."
  132. [21:30] Zeriel Heifang says, "Mmh... uneventful."
  133. [21:30] Salthiel Anauel asks, "Back to Huangzhou?"
  134. [21:30] Bai Long says, "We will get swarmed by ten or so."
  135. [21:30] Ban Heifang says, "He went to Dawn."
  136. [21:30] Ban Heifang says, "Hurry."
  137. [21:31] Zeriel Heifang says, "To Huagzhou, move."
