- Rules of the Holy Grail War
- -Servants can never reveal their true name to anyone, willingly or otherwise, unless asked directly "Are you ________________?"
- -Servants can never harm their own Master.
- -Servants can never harm innocent civilians unless ordered to by their Master.
- -Masters who involve innocents in the war will be stripped of their command seals by the Mediator.
- -Masters who lose their servant may expend a command seal to summon a different servant provided they can gain access to a relic.
- -Masters may withdraw from the war at any time.
