  1. Michael was coming to the unavoidable conclusion that the girl that he comforted in his arms would never see him as anything more than a friend. Now, let’s not be mistaken about his intentions; he isn’t looking for eternal love or anything nearly as perennial as that. No, Michael’s body was pumping enough hormones through his veins to addle even the most well adjusted mind, driving an insatiable desire to jump anything with two legs and a warm spot. And let’s face it; Blake had an almost supernatural effect on men. An effect that is most obvious while watching her walk down a corridor at school, as boys of all ages and persuasions suddenly hunch over in her wake and attempt to strategically hide their shame with whatever is on hand.

However, despite being in a position that most of his friends would kill to be in, Michael was unable to take advantage of this most luscious languisher’s lascivious effect on his libido; because, unfortunately for most people born with a y-chromosome (and more than a couple who weren’t), Blake was in love with Edward Cullen.
