Chapter 1 summary:
Zelkova is dead, waiting for his revive timer to tick down and reflecting on how badly he fucked up. He doesn't want his parent Taupe to die, so he's hoping that someone, anyone will save her. He thinks that his only hope is the Great Legions. The only ones who can escape Tez are people who can teleport, or fly like Crow. One guy tries to run away every revival to escape, but Tez's gravity move just drags him in every time. So, Zelkova revives. A few seconds later Taupe does as well, and she has a plan. She sees this little pillbug enemy and tells Zel to help her kill it, so they both get behind a big rock and wait for Tez's gravity attack. The gravity attack helps them move the rock, which crushes the bug. They get some Burst Points and gauge charge. Zel uses a move that creates a wall with his new charge, using it to prevent himself from being sucked into the gravity attack. He grabs Taupe and she uses her gauge to call in a mole and create a hole in the ground. Zelkova's armor is cracking from the pressure of the gravity attack so Taupe tells him to get in the hole if it breaks... but he ignores her and throws her into the hole to save her as the wall and his armor break and he dies to Tez again.

Chapter 2 summary:
We pick back up with Haruyuki, who's listening to the DD announcement with Chii. Eurochion is the one speaking. He says the line, introduces himself as the leader of "the Unifiers," then proceeds to jump down from the portal. He drops in a manner that makes Haru think of Sentry's Feather Fall ability, then lands in a spectacular cloud of dust. Haru thinks he might be dead, but he bursts out of the cloud running, having taken seemingly no damage. He proceeds to one shot a bunch of Burst Linkers with his bare hands. At this point, Haru decides to step in and help Exercitus. Chii wants to come, so Haru brings her along without putting up any fuss. Haru glides down with his wings, drops Chii, and runs in to help. Eurochion is about to attack this blue avatar who uses a pickaxe (apparently the pickaxe is really strong, it is said to have pierced Beast-Class Enemy armor) but as soon as it hits Eurochion's hand it shatters into little fragments. Immediately after, Crow rushes in to kick Eurochion. Eurochion raises his hand... and Haru sees the overlay just in time, so he's able to reinforce his foot with Incarnate. He flies backward, escaping with just a crack. If he was a second slower in deploying Incarnate protection, he would have been one shot. It turns out Eurochion is destroying everyone with refined Incarnate, the overlay is so faint because he isn't using any excess willpower. He's using just what is needed, nothing more. Eurochion is very happy that he finally ran into someone who can use Incarnate, but he calls it something else: "Saion" (Psion, short for Psionic Power).

To flex his Saion skill to Haru, he holds up his finger and generates an overlay. Haru does the same, though it takes him a second longer. Haru tells Eurochion that they call this power "Incarnate System" in BB. Eurochion says he gets it, it's all the same idea. Now, Eurochion asks who Haru is. Haru answers, introducing himself as "Silver Crow, member of the legion Oscillatory Universe".

Eurochion responds saying that's a pretty grand sounding legion name, but he doesn't hate it. Haru looks around, the Exercitus survivors are pretty shocked and not really moving. Haru thinks to himself that he can't allow any more casualties. He's a member of Oscillatory, the most authoritarian legion... and while they may be inherently incompatible with the ideals of Exercitus, they're all from BB and need to untie against these invaders. Thus, Haru asks Eurochion what his purpose is. Eurochion basically says "Where the hell have you been? We've been waiting for this event for months, expecting to face a well prepared army, and all we find are worn out players who can't even use Saion."

So it turns out that Eurochion is a Level 9, and the system message seen by DD players who reach Level 9 warned them of the coming merge. Haru briefly thinks to himself that the BB Level 9's received no such warning, and wants to know what the DD message said word for word. However he holds himself back from asking, tries to avoid showing weakness, and simply says "We haven't received any system messages regarding this matter, and these Burst Linkers are in tatters from fighting a super enemy." He goes on to basically tell Eurochion to cut them some slack. Eurochion responds that he doesn't want to come off as someone who bullies the weak, and that they had their own issues in DD. He then tells Haru that he looks like he's in good condition and to prove his words with a 1v1, then thinks for a second and asks Haru for his level. Haru admits he's Level 6, so Eurochion quickly amends the terms, saying Haru just needs to survive five minutes. Haru considers asking what will happen if he wins (nah, I'd win?) but holds back and agrees. Eurochion then asks Haru to state a title. Since he's in front of Exercitus, Haru considers "Traitor," but decides that's too revealing. After rejecting "Antidote King" due to embarrassment, he decides to go with "Wings of Super Speed" (Speedster). Eurochion then gives his title: "Primordial Fang"

Haru now thinks that it might be difficult for Exercitus to accept him as the BB representative due to his allegiance with Oscillatory, but quickly dismisses his misgivings due to the fact that Exercitus is ill equipped to handle DD after their fight with Tez... Crow is their best option. All of the survivors finish retreating to some distance away, and Eurochion remarks that it finally looks like they can have a serious duel. Before the duel, Haru asks if DD is a fighting game like Brain Burst. He's concerned about the game genre because the other two Accelerated games (AA and CC) were different genres and it might impact the duel. Eurochion says it's hard to describe, but eventually lands on calling it a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) with shooting, hack-and-slash, and fighting game elements. Haru thinks that DD almost sounds like a completed version of the Accelerated World game, taking parts from all three past games. Eurochion takes Haru's silent thinking time as him worrying about the rules, so he tells Haru not to overcomplicate it and just think about surviving the five minutes to win. Haru simply responds "I understand" and gets into a fighting stance. Eurochion mirrors his stance... and the preview ends here.

(Note: Eurochion's stance is described as "southpaw" and his attacks "are not normal punches and kicks," but the preview cuts off before we get to see any of those attacks)
