I really don't know much about what has been going on so I could only say that you need to decide for yourself
however maybe take a time to think if it's really the right time already to jump the gun.
from your own experience, you should know that these mood swings usually don't last long?
hence, better bide and sit on the fence before doing a rash action that proves regrettable later on
we've got a couple of problems to face with indeed
first is his mod position which would obvsly allow him to delete things if he completely loses his mind for short (and frankly I think he's too impulsive and immature for it anyway)
however we already know what happened when we removed it from him for the first time
maybe I/Taw should also try to have a private word with him, or we should let him see these messages right away idk
he'll need to understand this partnership is a two-way street and that it's not the only one existing
he'll need to understand that his destructive behaviour doesn't do him any favors social-wise
but I don't know how much capable of understanding he is as of now
I need to attend a lecture now and then go back home, I won't be available for some hours
