ULiL Reisen Ending

決着は着いた。
It's finally over.
軍配は辛うじて月の兎に上がった。
The Moon Rabbit declared her Narrow victory.
とはいえ相手は不死身の怪物だ。
But how could one win against an immortal monster?
(But the opponent is an immortal monster.)
持久戦となればまず勝ち目は無い。
Mortals are no match if it becomes a long, drawn-out battle.
しかし勝負は意外な出来事で決着した。
It was all because of a sudden surprise.
闘っていた筈の妹紅は突然、
Mokou, who was supposed to be the one fighting,
霊夢に戻ってしまったのだ。
suddenly turned back to Reimu.
霊夢は痛がっているが、二人とも何が起きたのかまるで判らなかった。
Both of them had no idea what was happening. Only the pain Reimu expressed remains.
霊夢は混乱していたが
Reimu was confused, and panicking.
鈴仙が熱心に事態を説明し続けたら少しずつ受け入れていったようだった。
Reisen enthusiastically explained the whole situation to her,
and she accepted it and moved on a little bit.
一体、何が起きたというのだろう。
What exactly happened there?
神子は「都市伝説を利用してる奴が影響を受けている」と言ったが……
Miko said "the ones who make use of Urban Legend will be influenced by it as well."
ということは、さっきの出来事は都市伝説異変の影響なのだろうか。
If she's right, this may also be a side effect of Urban Legend outbreak.
鈴仙はこの事をお師匠様に報告した。
Reisen reported this incident to her master.
鈴仙が冷静さを保てていたのは、心の何処かで都市伝説異変はお師匠様の領分だと思っていたからだ。
The reason why Reisen still remained calmed, is that she knew in her heart that her master is somewhat responsible for this whole Urban Legend things.
自分が慌てても何も出来ない。
I'm not the one who should be panicking. Even if I do I won't be able to do anything about it.
放って置けば解決する。
I can just leave it alone. It will get resolved sooner or later anyway.
判らない事象はお師匠様が解決すると。
My master knows the solutions to all situations which I don't know how to deal with.
That's what I believed to be true.
しかし今回の出来事を報告してこの安定は脆くも崩れ落ちた。
However, the answer she got shattered her faith and sanity.
それはお師匠様にも見当が付かない不測の事態だった。
This was an unexpected outcome, even for her master.
恐らく幻想郷独自の問題であり月の民とは一切関係ない。
Perhaps this is Gensokyo's own issues on its own land, Lunarians have nothing to do with this.
だから地上の民が調査し、解決する、と。
"It's earthlings' business. Leave it to themselves."
そう冷たく言い放った。
That's what the master said, indifferently.
そうだった、永遠亭は中立なのだ。
It makes perfect sense. Eientei is on the neutral ground.
しかし、鈴仙は思った。
But, Reisen did not follow their stance.
私はその解決に乗り気だった。
I should be joining the resolving side.
もう私は中立ではない。
I'm no longer neutral.
すでに地上の異変が生活に影響する
Because I've already become a normal earth rabbit,
地上の兎の一匹なのだから。
living upon this abnormal Earth.
霊夢と妹紅に起きたような出来事が次々に起こり始めたのだ。
The phenomenon shown on Reimu and Mokou started spreading.
突如瞬間移動して現れる人間。それと同時に消える人間。
There are suddenly people who just teleported in, companied with those who just disappeared.
体験した人間に話を聞くと　誰かに身体を乗っ取たようだと説明する。
"It felt like being possessed," the people who experienced such phenomenon explained.
しかし外から見ていると、精神が乗っ取られたというよりは 肉体ごと入れ替わっているように見えた。
But from what we were seeing, they were literally becoming another person, rather than being taken over spiritually.
しかし困ったことに、この異常事態に皆が慣れ始めていた。
And the most troubling part is, we're getting used to those strange things day by day.
上手く使えばいつでも好きな場所にいけるじゃん、と利用する奴もでてきた。
"Hey, if I can master this, I could just be wherever I like whenever I want to! How wonderful!" More people are getting such mentalities.
幻想郷の悪い癖である。
Gensokyo's bad old habits.
