  7. Alpha Patch 3.17.3 has been released to Evocati, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: VERSION 3.17.3-PTU.8227258.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER and Shader folders for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\PTU. The Shader folders can be found here %localappdata%\Star Citizen.

  23. Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing. When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the "Testing Focus". Please issue council all issues related to those in testing focus and in general gameplay.

  26. The largest focus of this PTU publish is to check on fixes of a couple major server crash fixes and gather data on some balance changes done to the contents of lootable containers in the PU. We will be looking through analytics data for all items found or looted from containers to see if the changes are working as intended.

  31. Sabre Raven - VFX - Green flickering light fills the screen when sat in the pilot's seat during weather VFX (Players will receive a loaner Sabre)
  32. Players may have to restart the game after getting kicked to the main menu from a 30k server crash
  33. Targeting - A ship's targeting pip may be missing or disappear for some players; they cannot be targeted when this happens
  34. Multivehicle - Ships floating in the hangar when stored with the engines left on then retrieved again
  35. Ships / Character Animation - The player character arm will misalign when seated in ships, causing obstruction of HUD and view
  36. Vehicle / Spawning - The Khartu-al spawns on the hangar floor sideways
  37. Vehicles / Ships - Shields - Weapon fire penetrates shields when ships are moving
  38. Vehicles / ShipRefuel - While docked to a Starfarer multiple vehicle types will continuously tilt instead of remaining stationary and snap away from the arm if any movement is attempted
  39. Vehicles – The Argo Raft's elevator controls cannot be interacted with from either deck
  40. Crusader Ares - Headlights on Ares are too dim to notice at reasonable range
  41. Animation - Weapons - All weapons are held like a pistol whilst moving in EVA
  42. Combat AI - UGF Missions are sometimes missing NPC spawns to complete the mission
  43. FPS Weapons - Weapon holsters or un-holsters unintentionally
  44. Armor / Weapons / Utility items may disappear between sessions
  45. Inventory - Weapons - Weapons looted directly equipped from containers/boxes are missing attachments
  46. ASOP - Ships on landing pads end up in "unknown state" for location and have to be reclaimed after the ship is stored or streamed out
  47. Missions - UGF / Bounty Hunter - Turrets around bunkers respawn very quickly, sometimes almost instantaneously
  48. Multiple locations - R&R Stations - Stations are variably offset from the Lagrange point they are housed within

  51. Players landing at Docking Port 04 in the Orison Spaceport should no longer receive a trespassing warning and can receive a crimestat
