  1. [14:08] Zexelis led the way to the fields with Ichida following behind, flying his way until he landed near the center of the field, spacing himself a bit from Ichida. By reading his demeanor, Zexelis could feel a sense of lost hope in Ichida.

  3. "I have faith in you Ichida. With a bit of practice, I'm sure you can shake that rust off and land your strikes better." Zexelis drew his blade as he assumed the Ifrit stance. Still floating in the air, he would seem to await Ichida's charge.

  5. "Come at me when you're ready, friend."

  9. [14:14] Ichida didn't know where this rust was coming from or why he was losing so badly, could it be a lack of confidence? or something deeper than that?

  11. For one that wants to master fire he can't even aim his blade or land his strike it seems he had a long way to go. He'd cast the flames around the body as the claw begin to form around his arm.

  13. Maybe training was required?, A clear mind? something needed to give or Ichida would lose himself in pity forever.

  17. "I'm ready though I'm not sure what's causing this issue, but I hope though training I can resolve it."

  25. [14:24] Ichida was about to fall though with the will to push forward he'd land one final strike on Zex and manage to take the victory. He wasn't sure what came over him though he didn't complain not one bit, trying to catch his breath he was far from done sparing with the man.

  27. "I didn't except to take that last round, but I did and I can see what some of my mistakes might have been. Though if your up for it I'd like to go again and improve myself past my current limit.

  33. Ichida would bow his head towards the man.

  36. [14:32] The spar came down to the last blow to who would fall first, Zexelis and Ichida very obviously wearing at each other well. When it came down to that final blow though, Zexelis was too anticipant. He made a charge of flame too early as Ichida drew close, weaving around his charge of flame and managing to land a strike that made Zexelis fall to the ground.

  38. Zexelis got up, cracking his neck a bit as his flames re-intensified. Zexelis tilted his head a bit as Ichida asked for a lesson from him. "I guess I can go another spar or two, but I think Ifrit might be a good person to go to about mastering your flame, I'm sure he could teach you a thing or two about that."

  40. "Though, I will give you what I have learned over the years. The brightest and hottest flame is brought about by passion, you dig deep into that passion in your soul to stoke that flame. When you find that passion, you hold onto it. Now, shall we go another?"

  42. Zexelis readied his blade as his wings seemed to grow a bit, flapping and flying him into the air once again as he poised himself for battle once again.

  46. [14:33] Ichida Rikiya says, "Aother would be good."
  47. [14:38] Zexelis says, "Again, Ichida? You seemed to have lost a bit of focus that time."
  48. [14:38] Ichida Rikiya says, "I did."
  49. [14:38] Ichida Rikiya says, "I'm ready to go again though."
  50. [14:43] Kadence exclaims, "Anyone got any food? Tuff tuff!"
  51. [14:44] Cassandra Invidia says, "Uh... No, i don't. I am sorry."
  52. [14:44] Xea exclaims, "Unless ya like the taste of swuisarme scales, I don't!"
  53. [14:44] Cassandra Invidia says, "Hm.... Follow me."
  54. [14:44] Kadence exclaims, "Okay!"
  55. [14:55] Ichida had yet another close match with Zex. The outcome was hard to determine though Ichida came out on top not without a few cuts and bruise on his arms . Though the little pain a small smile formed on his face as his grip tightened around his Katana it seems Ichida found some resolve with each battle.

  57. He needed to work with the flame instead of against the flame, he needed to remember that Ifrit was here to work with him and not against him. Even if the drain was massive most of the time.

  59. Ichida seems to have found peace with his flame or found a way to control them to a certain extent. Ichida needed to follow suit in taming his flames instead of having a wild style.

  61. "The more we battle the more I understand about the flames and my own personal issues. I was blind by the wild flames and let anger control me from time to time thus causing me to snap or miss my attacks.

  63. As I look at you with your tamed magic it burns just as bright as mine and has the same affect of mine. The only difference is you have far more control than myself.

  65. I strive to learn live you and I strive to be just as great as you when it comes to taming the flame. These spars have shown me that I lack the resolve to push pass my own limits of the wild nature of fire.

  67. I thank yo-- no we thank you; I can't forget that I'm not longer fighting a battle alone and that Ifrit is here as my guild though the struggle.

  71. Ichida offers the man another bow

  75. [15:00] Ichida Rikiya says, "He's able to do something I cannot."
  76. [15:00] Ichida Rikiya says, "It's amazing really."
  77. [15:00] Ichida Rikiya says, "Keep this in mind."
  78. [15:01] Ichida Rikiya says, "Having a person to look up to is never a bad thing, but when you envy them.."
  79. [15:01] Ichida Rikiya says, "Then that's a sin you can't come back from."
  80. [15:01] Swift had been watching them go at it curiously.

  84. [15:02] Xea asks, "What's wrong wit bein' a bit envious? Just means ya have to catch up ain't it?"
  85. [15:03] Swift says, "Sometimes Envy can consume."
  86. [15:03] Ichida Rikiya says, "Evny makes you want things you cannot have."
  87. [15:03] Ichida Rikiya says, "Some people can be envious to the point they would kill for it."
  88. [15:04] Zexelis had been beaten by Ichida once again, and this time by a bit of a longshot. As he got to his feet from being knocked down in the spar, he only shook his head as Ichida bowed to him. "You have no need to bow Ichida, I am merely returning the favor of your assistance to push my limits. Harness your will and passion, and you may one day even have wings like mine."

  90. Zexelis merely nodded to him, brushing himself off from the spar. "Still, guess I'm not so bad for someone whose been mostly crafting up until a few years ago." Zexelis felt a little bit regressed since Ichida had beaten him, though it seemed Ichida had improved as well. So for now, he just kept himself calm as he allowed his flames to fade.

  94. [15:05] Saki Oshikawa whispers something.
  95. [15:05] Athena Oshikawa whispers something.
  96. [15:06] Xea says, "Movin' away from the dreary feeling stuff, that was somethin' else to see...Wonder if Saga will fight like that someday."
  97. [15:10] Ichida shook his head allowing his own flames to fade away, the embers vanish as quickly as they came. He'd remove his helmet as he looked over towards Zex with a smile on his face.

  101. He'd take offer his Samurai armor for the time being.
