  61. So this is the broken Jirachi HO team that I ran on the suspect ladder and ended up going 45-5 peaking at the top of the ladder. The idea behind this team is to beat opposing volt-turn teams whilst pressuring defensive builds to the extent that they normally don't get a chance to gain momentum. Mamoswine is what I almost always run as my rocker on HO, it's a useful electric immunity which has a decent match up versus most bulky teams and other Stealth Rockers. M-Manectric gives this team a really nice match up versus opposing offensive builds, where Intimidate is very important, and it has excellent synergy alongside Hydreigon and Infernape (note: I run static on M-Manectric so Trace Pokemon can't gain the +1 boost on the turn I mega and Volt Switch - looking at you: M-Gardevoir). Hydreigon is able to switch into the bulky ground types that threaten both Infernape and M-Manectric. Choice Specs Hydreigon is a powerful nuke that most teams lack an adequate answer to, Focus Blast is there since it hits steel types for the most amount of damage, whilst having a chance to 2HKO Blissey, but options such as Fire Blast and Flash Cannon work too. Between Hydreigon and M-Manectric most bulky water types are adequately handled. Next up is Choice Scarf Infernape which is essentially my safety against zHH Jirachi and the third Pokemon that's part of the volt-turn core. In this case I chose Endeavor as my last move which has fantastic synergy alongside Scizor. Quick Attack Scizor is really important on this team since it can lure opposing Infernape for Jirachi to sweep late game. The idea of double steel set up core is that Scizor and Jirachi both take on similar Pokemon but can also lure threats like Infernape (Quick Attack Scizor) and Rotom-W (Energy Ball Jirachi). Lastly we have the best late game mon in the tier, the whole idea of this team is to break down opposing teams so that Jirachi can sweep. Ideally most offensive threats will have been removed and defensive checks severely crippled by the time Jirachi sets up a sweep.
