Fogerty tries to strike the duelist, but only lands one hit.

Shaking himself awake, Kovgan leaps up and darts forward to finish off the Gunner, the body being shook as it falls into the sheath of energy that had momentarily coated it. Kovgan then try's to assert some control to cover his comrades.

One of the entangled corsairs stabs out towards the half-oni fighter scoring only a graze with his boarding pike.
Taking advantage of the distracted warrior a pirate catches the edge of the dao with his bar mace and sends it spinning away into the nearby sofa with an audible thunk.
Captain Dead-Eye swings down hard from the tabletop towards the half elven noble, his greatsword cutting deep.

"You...will regret that." Shiryuu growls at the mace-wielding pirate.
Tharivol Amberwood — Yesterday at 10:29 PM
Finding a well of resolve within him, Tharivol reaches for the heavy weapon on his belt and fires point blank as he moves to the pirate scum's flank.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Yesterday at 10:35 PM
Kiryuu pushes between the assailants, his shield raised and just in time too as he feels the scrape of a sword deflect off of it. He grabs his Dao, resting fine and pretty on the couch, and swings it around, putting his weight behind it. He's delighted to see his blade taste further blood against the pirate that disarmed him. Using that momentum he pushes back into his previous spot, armed again.

The bloodletter lets out an angry cry and swings at the avian wildly but his axe goes wide. Trying to capitalize on the flanking provided by the roaring cutthroat the duelist tries to close but is nearly hit by the wide axe swing and dances back out of range.
Heat Stones — Yesterday at 10:40 PM
Gruntz says an incantation to heal Fogerty. She tries to fire a cross-bolt at Deadeye, but misses.
Sol — Yesterday at 10:40 PM
The corsair officer quickly reloads his hand cannon and fires at the surrounded mercenary, only to have the lead ball ricochet off of the skirmish shield and embeds itself in the ceiling.
After regaining his weapon the oni skillfully deflects and avoids the cutlass and maul from the closing corsairs.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Yesterday at 10:57 PM
Aelar swiftly draws an arrow and looses it at the disgusting Pirate Captain. Satisfied at how it embeds itself in the Captain's shoulder he drops his bow into the corner and draws his short-sword before moving closer to Dead-Eye.
Fogerty Creedence — Yesterday at 11:02 PM
Fogerty sacrifices ki to use an advanced technique to move up without getting attacked and punches Dead eye with his astral arms.
Kovgan Mox — Yesterday at 11:04 PM
Kovgan mutter a few words, and healing energy surrounds him, he then strikes at dead eye once again injuring him and surrounding him in energy.
Sol — Yesterday at 11:06 PM
Kiryuu sees the nearby pikeman flail about with his boarding pike, making short work of the nearby sofa.
Unsure what his crewmate is up too the strongarm closes with the blue skinned mercenary once more, landing a solid blow with his metal bludgeon.
The one-eyed captain roars a curse at the elf blocking his path and lays into him with two vicious greatsword swings.

Retrieving now the multi-barreled pepperbox, Tharivol fires off. The second round from the weapon to miss.

Perhaps because Kiryuu switches targets, he misses his downward stroke against the Corsair next to the Strongarm.

The bloodletter chases after the martial artist continuing to swing wildly, this time connecting with his greataxe.

Fogerty manages to deflect some of the damage.

The duelist rushes the flamboyant kobold, missing two quick stabs with his dagger before focusing and running the small draconid through with his rapier.

Gruntz walks up to Mox and casts cure wounds and walks back to the doorway. She is still injured.

A flurry of lead shot, blades and bludgeons are all turned aside by the oni's fighting prowess and quick reflexes.

A thug with an iron bar mace rushes at the half-elf gunman, but he stumbles as he makes his way onto the tabletop and his swing clears the nobles head by over a foot.

Fogerty attacks with a flurry of blows, kills dead eye, and damages the duelist.

Kovgan takes a moment to re-establish the shield that had been pierced by the duellist before attacking him and backing off.

More corsairs move in to surround the mercenary, not that it does them any good as the attacks go wide.

Training the Pepperbox on the corsair immediately in front of him, Tharivol fires off yet another round, directly into the scum's chest.

The bloodletter continues to lash about recklessly with his axe, leaving him wide open for a counter attack.

Figuring that concentrating on the scum who disarmed will work out better than changing the target of his boiling rage, Kiryuu swings back at the Strongarm. And is rewarded with a meaty chop into the pirate scum's side!

Fighting through the pain from the thunderous magical energy that batters him as he moves the duelist is off balance once he closes with the red mage and his thrusts and slashes narrowly miss.

The majority of the corsairs continues their futile attempts at bringing down the raging mercenary, however, one of the corsairs waits for an opening and manages to score a solid slash with his wide-bladed cutlass.

Turning from the noble gunman the corsair strongarm beats the orc shaman into the floorboards of the tavern with two quick slams.
A few of the pirates re-adjust positions and one of them manages to slam his maul into the mercenaries back.

The relentless attacks from the corsairs begin to wear Kiryuu down and they score several glancing blows that make their ways past the armor and shield.
The bloodletter's strength seems to be waning as his wild swings continue to cut nothing but air.
The duelist presses his attack against the kobold, creating a nasty slash across the scaled one's cheek.

Kiryuu tries yet again to end the strongarm's life, and yet again misses. His dao slams down into the floorboard again. "Cursed....pirates!"

The officer manages to line up a shot with hand cannon, the crack of the pistol is a familiar sound to the mercenary, the stinging pain in his side isn't.\
Now that the orc is taken care of the corsair turns back to the half-elf, swinging twice he smashes the iron bar into the noble's pepperbox and chest.

The pikeman lunges his boarding pike past the officer and plunges it into the mercenaries blue chest and pulls it back with a violent sucking noise.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 12:37 AM
The blue half-oni, kneels his dao keeping him from falling over, blood dripping from his mouth as the spear is pulled, sucking from his chest. He roars out, like a cornered beast of the mountains as he stands. From his peripheral vision he sees one pirate turn to move away, and he takes advantage of that. He brings his blade down, nearly chopping the man in half before swinging the blade back up. "NOT....YET! MY DAO....WILL TASTE MORE....BEFORE THIS IS....D O N E."

Aelar cast one of his spells as a hand full of berry's show up in his hand, he then feeds one to the ork to get them back up, while Ervinth trys to attack again but misses.

One of the thugs attempts so finish off the downed barbarian but cannot land a blow, a miracle to be sure.
The pikemen advance on the summoned beasts, lashing out at it with a boarding pike.

Tharivol draws his hilted blade, lunging its piercing tip into the corsair.

With a savage roar he swings his sword up and with all the strength he can muster brings it down on the strongarm. "SOU!" He bellows. The pirate brings his mace up to block, but all this does is push the blow slightly so it cleaves into and through his neck. The end of the dao slams into the floor boards and the strong arm falls into two pieces. "FLEE NOW...BEFORE I CUT THE REST...OF YOU DOWN."

The bloodletter laughs at the mercenaries warcry and slams his greataxe into the avian martial artist.
The duelist ignores the troublesome monk and closes with the spellcaster, cutting him down with a few quick slashes and a grin.
Heat Stones — Today at 1:00 AM
Guntz walks up to Kiryuu to cast cure wounds on him and walks back to the wall.
Sol — Today at 1:03 AM
The officer turns blasts a gory hole in the summoned drakes head with a cacophonous blast from his hand cannon and it slumps to the ground before disappearing.
Several of the corsairs break and run for the stairs, the melee becoming to rich for their blood as crewmate after crewmate falls before the adventurers.

The strongarm continues to focus in on the half-elf noble with dogged-like persistence, however his swings go wide.

With Kovgan's rival dead, he throws a bolt of energy at the officer before taking up a flanking position behind him.

The Amberwood noble side-steps and lunges forward, piercing the corsair's side.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 1:24 AM
Kiryuu pivots on his right foot and swings his sword in a side-arc and decapitates the corsair officer. With a satisfied grin, his eyes shining with bloodlust he lets out another shout of boiling rage, satisfied with yet another kill. "NO MERCY." He says as the officer's head land on the table near the bloodletter.

The bloodletter scoffs at his weak-willed crewmates running from these milksop adventures and smashes his greataxe into the side of the avian to great effect.

Guntz casts healing ward on Fogerty. She drops her crossbow and switches to her quarterstaff. Guntz tries to hit the Corsair Strongarm and misses.

The strongarm swings around in pain and smashes his bar mace into the nobles jaw.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 1:35 AM
The elven ranger slips over to flank the strongarm. With the grace of a dancer he slices his short-sword quickly across his unguarded neck. With a spray of blood he finished off the corsair before daintily sliding over to flank the bloodletter. "Hehehehehe."
Fogerty Creedence — Today at 1:36 AM
Fogerty goes in for another hurricane strike against the bloodletter.

"I'm a good boy!" the ranger adds, handing a goodberry to the birdman.

Energy sizzles in Kovgan's hand for a moment before he decides to return to ole reliable, stabbing the final remaining enemy.

Kiryuu moves down to join the last of the party in their violent revelry. He swings his entire body in a 360 degree to put some force behind his sword as the dao chops into the bloodletter's side.

Fogerty has had enough of the bloodletter and proceeds to go to town with the bloodletter.
Ripping and tearing contiously until there isn't enough to identify the bloodletter existied.

Kovgan takes a seat, his body weak moving a body out of the way to make room. A muttering of a spell can be heard and Kovgan's clothes suddenly freshen up as if nothing had occurred, although his wounds remain.

The smoke clears and the noise dies down, the remaining corsairs...and patrons lie in bloody heaps throughout the upstairs dining room. The furniture is ruined and fluids begin to soak and stain the floor.

Tarina slowly peers around the door she had fled through prior and upon seeing the agitators are no more she strides out of the side room and claps the orc woman on the back. "Well done! I knew you all could do it!"

Her voice drops to a conspiratorial whisper as she strides closer. "Several blocks northwest of here is a public bathhouse with a walled garden and it's got pictures of those nature spirits all running about and such carved right into its front gates."

Kovgan takes a glass of wine from the table that miraculously had remained intact, upon tasting he learns that it was in fact not red wine and decides to discard it before joining the others.  "I wanna hear this information first. Don't keep it all for yourself."

The half-oni puts his shield onto his back and leans on the pommel of his sword and grunts. "He raises a good...point."

She winks slyly at the questions. "You'll just have to trust me, eh? I can guarantee that's who they are, information is what I do."

"And information is what I seek. The Captain requires that we learn all you know about the Dead Three. We've paid a high price, and now I intend to collect your end of the deal in full."

Fogerty neatly piles the loot onto the table and puts all the coin and jewelry into a coin pouch.

"That's all I know, it is! I've got ears to every wall and hands in every pocket. I hear the goings on but this group is awful secretive.....but my eyes have never been wrong before."

"She wouldn't dare lie to a...representative of the Captain. She is professional in her....work, despite appearances." Kiryuu nods to Tharivol. "If she says that's all she has....that is all she has." He turns back to Tarina. "Pleasure....doing business with you....miss Tarina. I....shall give the Captain your....regards."

She dusts of her clothes and makes an insolent, mock salute. "Pleasure is all mine, sirs." She glances about and starts rifling through what is left of the pockets of her gambling companions.

Kiryuu watches the rogue loot her companions and then shrugs.

The companions negotiate prices for beds and take a much needed rest after dealing with Dead-Eye and the corsairs of the Uncivil Serpent.
