  1. Over the last few weeks the Imperfect second raid has undergone several significant changes. The second run has always been envisioned as a place that had all the same focus and dedication as our primary raid, but without the more difficult raid requirements.
  2. The ultimate goal for the second run is to provide a second core group of players and raider alts/social members a solid home for the duration of Classic in addition to allowing a place for raiders who are unable to attend their normal run, or were benched.
  3. Despite the lack of competitive focus, the second raid will hold to the same standards of quality as the primary, aiming to find a balance between smooth boss and instance execution, and a chill environment. And because the run is under the umbrella of Imperfect there will be opportunity for exceptional raiders to be recruited to the primary raid team if they desire.
  4.
  5. Raid Times:
  6.
  7. For the forseeable future Raid 2 will be run at 6:00 server time on Sunday nights. Invites will begin at 5:30 server time.

  9.
  10. Consumables:
  11.
  12. Because this raid is a more relaxed environment consumables are not required, with the exception of Greater Fire Protection Potions for Ragnaros. A minimum of six will be required to attend the raid. Any other consumables or world buffs are not required, but they are encouraged. Anyone who wants to push themselves for better raid results is welcome to do so.
  13.
  14. Loot Rules:
  15.
  16. Loot will be going to an Effort Points/Gear Points system. EPGP is similar to a DKP system but without a few of DKPs drawbacks. We believe that this system will be the most fair and transparent for all of raid 2 membership. Effort Points will be earned by attending raid and world bosses. Effort Points may also be deducted by signing up and not showing for raids. There is a built in decay for Effort points to encourage everyone in raid 2 to continue to attend raids and to also keep 1 time raiders from winning big pieces.

  22. And the Addon we are using is called Classic EPGP. You can find it here:

  25.
  26. The Addon is not required in order to recieve loot.
  27. Additional Rules
  28.
  29. Due to some loot going to sub-optimal classes or specs we are enacting some rules beyond simple main spec>off spec. These are just a basic ruleset around items we believe should be won by certain classes/specs before others. These priority rules are open to discussion and if the raid has any major disagreements we are willing to change things.
  30.
  31. Tank Priority:
  32. Tanks will have priority on ALL Tier 1 and 2 Warrior set items.
  33.
  34. DPS Caster Priority:
  35. Casters will have priority on Sorcerous Dagger, Mageblade, Staff of Dominance, Choker of Elightenment, Choker of the Fire Lord, Robes of Volatile Power, Ring of Spell Power and Talisman of Ephemeral Power.
  36.
  37. Rogue Priority:
  38. Rogues will have priority on all Daggers. Rogues will also be "locked" to one weapon specialization, either daggers or swords, depending on what weapon they win first. If we choose to have one or more of our tanks spec Fury/Prot then they will also get a chance to win daggers.
  39.
  40. Warrior Priority:
  41. DPS Warriors will have priority on 1 Handed weapons excluding daggers and swords. Also Warriors will have priority on 2 Handed weapons if it is their first 2 Handed weapon.
  42.
  43. Healer Priority:
  44. Shamans and Druids will have Priority on Aurastone Hammer
  45.
  46. Head of Onyxia will be a Tank, Melee DPS, and Hunter Priority item UNLESS a DPS caster will be wearing the ring in raids as an upgrade.
  47.
  48. Note: The specialization you attend and perform in the raid will be considered your main spec.
  49.
  50. If there are any questions/comments/concerns/complaints feel free to message Spit, Pause, Galla, or Oliser in game or in discord. Also voice your opinions in the #raid-2-discussion channel in discord.
