  3. I will be presenting today the Citizen 21
  4. Mobile application, regarding what features are we going to expect.
  5.
  6. I will be giving a brief explanation about the application itself, regarding it’s main components and main features.
  7.
  8. *2nd slide*
  9.
  10. Citizen 21 promotes communication between co-workers as well as accessing information provided by their organisation.
  11.
  12. Employee benefits will also be a useful feature that Citizen 21 offers, giving employees such benefits exclusive only to their organisation.
  13.
  14. We will be discussing more about the applications features in a few moment, but first, let us discuss about the flow and design of the application itself and what are we going to expect from them.
  15.
  16. *who are the users?*
  17.
  18. So who are the users? We have the organization or company. And of course, the organisation members or the employees of the companies. We will discuss the interaction between these two later.
  19.
  20. *what does the application do*
  21.
  22. So basically, citizen 21 promotes communication between the organisation and the organisation members itself. It should also give access to such information provided by their organization. It also have a feature where the application can give benefits and promotions which is only exclusive depending on their companies. The application should also allow members to join on exclusive events which is provided by their organization, or company. Now these are just the basic background of the application which we are to expect. We will discuss furthermore of these and more additional features in a few moments.
  23.
  24. *features and mockups*
  25.
  26. Moving forward to the applications components, in mock-up form.
  27.
  28. First I will show you the login page and the signup page. While there is nothing special about these traditional features of an app, I am showing you this because I want to discuss a feature related whenever a user signs up.
  29.
  30. Now for this feature, after the user have fill-up his or her sign up form, he or she will now be able to join his or her organization. Now a wizard will be started and will instruct the user after signing up. So along this process, the user will be asked to fill up another form, which he or she will choose his or her organisation or company on this drop down form. Upon selecting the drop down form, as you may have noticed, there is a box below the dropdown. This box will serve as another form to be filled up by the member. Depending on the company, companies may add a form to ask the member specific questions that they would like to add. Now upon answering this form, it will now be sent to the organisation or company, in order for them to review and verify the member’s request.
  31.
  32. *homepage*
  33.
  34. Now after signing up, the user will now be redirected to the application’s homepage. The user will also now be able to see the application’s tab bar below, consisting of 4 buttons which is the Home, Directory, Promotions and the More button. Now we will discuss each of these and their features later, but first let us discuss what is inside the home tab of the application.
  35.
  36. Now the users should be redirected to their newsfeed upon logging in.
  37.
  38. The home page will be divided in to 3 tabs. We have the home or the ‘news feed’, next we have the events and also the fundraising tab. I’ll discuss them each later,
  39.
  40. To summarise the home tab content, it will consist of posts, photos, videos which will be shared by their directory list. Now the directory list will also be discussed later.
  41.
  42. *events*
  43.
  44. Moving forward to the next tab, we have the events features as well. This will feature the upcoming events from their organisation and company. *statethe screen examples*
  45.
  46. Now the members may attend any event as long as it is available at the events page. The user will click the specific event, and they will be able to see the specific details about the said event. Such as time, location, and type of event. They may attend that event by simply clicking attend.
  47.
  48. Now whenever a member press attend, he or she will now be granted an entry pass for that event. The entry pass will serve as his or her proof, to confirm her entrance on the said event.
  49.
  50. *fund raising*
  51.
  52. The fund raising feature should allow members to be able to donate to such fund raising events, hosted by different organisations. Users may choose their type of payment whether it could be via credit card, true-money, wing or paypal.
  53.
  54. *promotions*
  55.
  56. Now for the next feature of the application, is the promotions tab. Members or employees, may claim any active promotions which their organisation or company will offer.
  57.
  58. To further more discuss, for example The member have selected a specific promotion, which is this 10-50% off offer from a company. Upon viewing the promotion, he or she will be able to see more details about the promotion. Such as where the promotion can be claimed, and the validity or the expiry date of the promotion.
  59.
  60. Companies or organisations may also add below additional notes about their offer. For example, this offer says that members can enjoy this promo once a month, and it is only valid on cash payments only.
  61.
  62. Now moving forward, when a user will now claim his or her promotion. In order to claim that promotion, he or she should go to the location of the said promotion, and initiate a QR scan process. This would be a convenient method in claiming vouchers or any promotions as it only requires the scanning of QR codes.
  63.
  64. *directory*
  65.
  66. Now on to the next feature, we have the directory page. The directory will consist of the user’s added contact list. This will be persons from within his or her company or organisation. Also the public directory may also be accessed, containing different users from different organisations and companies.
