  1. I'm not
  2. sure if it's a good idea to post this, but it's seems I have no choice.
  3. Maybe it will help me to erase my nightmares I've been having for almost
  4. <nowiki> </nowiki>two weeks by now...
  5.
  6. I'm a 16 year old High School student in Rotterdam. I recently
  7. returned from my vacation in Tunis and just like everyone else, I was
  8. busy on a project I have to represent to the school in order to pass my
  9. final year. The project was called "life between bars": a documentary
  10. based on the life of prisoners. Luckily my father worked in a prison in
  11. Rotterdam, so I had the oppertunity to talk to some of the prisoners.
  12. Suprisingly they were all very nice to me: they answered my questions,
  13. even some personal ones. You wouldn't expect that any of them to be
  14. murderers or rapists. Only one prisoner was... a little unusual. He
  15. anwered my question normally just like the rest, exept for one: why did
  16. you end up here? "Missing", was all he said. He stared at me for a
  17. couple seconds, before handing me over a diary. "This will give you the
  18. answers you need".
  19.
  20. Once home, I crabbed the diary, tossed my bag on the couch and went
  21. upstairs. At first there was nothing weird or unusual written in it: he
  22. wrote about his day and that he was loved by children in his
  23. neighborhood and loved to make costumes, mostly for Halloween. But when I
  24. <nowiki> </nowiki>came closer to the end of August 2014, things started to get a bit
  25. more... unsettling.
  26.

  28.
  29. ''Dear Diary, I recently discovered a horror game called Five Nights ''at Freddy's. ''It's a game where you have to survive from 5 animatronics (Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Golden Freddy) with limited power. I'm
  30. not going to tell you too much about it, but what I do wanna talk about
  31. is the game's mystery's. Things like Golden Freddy and the 5 missing
  32. children. It's impressive how some person just managed to hide those
  33. children all those years just by forcing them in a costume. Hm...
  34. costume.''

  40. ''Dear Diary,''
  41.
  42. ''I made my decision about what costumes I'm going to make for this
  43. year Halloween. Wanna hear it: the 5 animatronics from Five Nights at
  44. Freddy's. I'm really looking forward to make the costumes. Today I will
  45. get all the equipment I need.''''
  46.
  47. After reading that page I noticed that some pages of the diary were ripped
  48. out. It immediately went to October 20th, like if the prisoner wanted me to read specific pages.

  54. ''Dear Diary,''
  55.
  56. ''I'm almost done with the costumes; the only costume I have to make yet is that of Golden Freddy. Unfortunately I made a big mistake: the costumes are to tight for adults to fit in. I'll probably find a
  57. solution. Maybe I could ask some of the kids around the neighborhood to
  58. 'volunteer' in exchange for candy. I'm pretty sure they would love to
  59. frighten other people.''''<nowiki/>''

  65.
  66. ''I have found my first volunteer: a 14 year old boy named Tim. He
  67. was prepared to help me after my offer. I brought him to my house and
  68. showed the costumes, he'll be wearing the Freddy costume.''

  74. ''Dear Diary,''
  75.
  76. ''My second volunteer is my friend's 12 year old daughter named
  77. Rebecca, who heard about my plan for Halloween and wanted to help. After she saw the costumes she felled in love with the Chica costume, do I decided to let her wear that for Halloween.''

  84.
  85. ''The third volunteer is a tall 14 year old boy named Carlos. I told him to wear the Foxy costume, because it fitted with his lenght. At first he didn't like the idea, but after some time I managed to... convince him.''

  92.
  93. ''I finally found my last volunteer: a 13 year old boy who played
  94. around in the park. He knew who I was and what my hobby was. He wanted
  95. to see some of my work. Back at my place I showed him my costume. I said to him that he could wear the Bonnie costume if he wanted to frighten some people at Halloween, he agreed. At first he didn't fit all too
  96. well, but with the right push I managed to get him in the suit. He loved it the costume, I could tell it...''''<nowiki/>''
  97.
  98. The more I read through this diary, the more I felt creeped out...
  99. "maybe I'm just overreacting", I said to myself. "Maybe it's just
  100. something innocent, right?" I began to read further, knowing that I might regret it...
  101.
  102. ''October 31th 2014''
  103.
  104. ''Dear Diary,''
  105.
  106. ''Now is finally the time: the children have their costumes on and after
  107. writing this I'm going to put on my own. Hopefully we'll frightin a lot
  108. of people by showing my work and I'm very happy these kids will help me, wish me luck...''''<nowiki/>''
  109. After this the diary ends: no more text, pages, nothing... Days passed by and I was still wondering what the man meant
  110. with "missing". Suddenly... the doorbell rang and I went downstairs. I
  111. opened the door, nobody... "Probably just some kids playing around", I
  112. said to myself. When I looked down however, I noticed a letter lying on
  113. the ground. I picked it up. It didn't had any address on it or even a
  114. stamp. I went back inside and opened it: There was a news article in the
  115. <nowiki> </nowiki>letter, with some of the text redacted. The letter was also filled with
  116. <nowiki> </nowiki>photo's. I first read the news article, only a few words weren't
  117. redacted: 31th of October...man at police station arrived...yellow
  118. bear-like suit...blooded hands...repeatetly said his
  119. adress...investigation at the man's house started...
  120.
  121. I started looked at the pictures, still confused. "Wait a minute..
  122. they are all pictures from the crime scene. I noticed that because at
  123. every picture there was a number on the backside of it, for some kind of
  124. <nowiki> </nowiki>evidential purpose... They showed how obsessed the man was with Five
  125. Nights at Freddy's: pictures of the animatronic, wiki pages about the
  126. game and more. But the more I looked at the pictures, the more I thought
  127. <nowiki> </nowiki>to myself: who would send this to me and why? Then I saw the last
  128. photo. It was a picture of four animatronic dolls: Freddy, Chica, Foxy
  129. and Bonnie. I noticed that there were some red-like stains on the
  130. costume. I looked at the backside of the picture: no number, so it
  131. wasn't taken by the police. I flipped the picture to look at it again.
  132. The moment I took a closer look my stomach turned, and I felt dizzier
  133. then ever before. I ran to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet....
  134.
  135. That fucking picture is giving me nightmares for almost two weeks
  136. now! I'm stressing and I can't concentrate on my project anymore! I
  137. can't tell you too much of what I saw the second time, I just can't.
  138. Only that... I know what the man reffered to with "missing"...
