You're not wandering New York

Alexithymiaa: -Brad was multitasking, not exceptionally well, but it was happening. He was reviewing clips the editor was sending him of the cuts for Anna's video while also trying to finalize the arrangement for their performance on New Years eve. He had a plate of cookies in front of him because how could he work without snacks?-
Covet: Kelsey was in a pretty damn good mood because they had weekend hook up sex with Ozzy and Katie and that was good for everyone all around. She'd been busy getting Connor tucked in for the night then made her way out to the kitchen/dining room area where she knew Brad was at. "Okay Kiddo is down for the count and we are free adults to do as we please."
Alexithymiaa: "He's had an eventful weekend playing with Lulu so I'm sure he didnt put up much of a fight." He said with a grin, pushing the plate of cookies in her general direction. "Want one?"-
Covet: "I will happily take one." she said taking a cookie. " I mean....we all kind of had an eventful weekend." She said with a smirk, then looked over at what he was doing. "How's it coming along?"
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, but we're not the ones who usually fight bedtime after an eventful weekend." He said with a grin, because adults love sleep and it's great. He plucked another cookie from the plate, taking a bite. "It's going good. Anna's video is almost done being edited and it's looking pretty sick so far."-
Covet: "Nah, we know how to wear each other out so sleep comes easy." She said with a laugh, then a wink. "Really? That's awesome. I'm really glad that it's going so well. How's the arangement coming?"
Alexithymiaa: "Also coming along perfectly." He said with a smile, switching windows to their arrangement and hitting enter on the keyboard so their song would play. He was mostly done tweaking it.-
Covet: Kelsey listened to the arangement smiling kind of humming along to the parts that she knew were hers. "You are a genius, this medley is perfect."
Alexithymiaa: "I wish you would say that more often. I don't think I hear it enough." He said all smug, sitting up straighter. Stopping the song at the end, he took another bite of his cookie. "Did you talk to the people with the thing for the performance?"-
Covet: "I don't want your ego getting too big." She told him giving him a pat on the shoulder. " I haven't yet, but I was going to do that tomorrow. I didn't really expect anyone to get back to me before the weekend was over."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, I guess that's true. I just don't want to start making plans and whatever if they don't want it to happen." He spoke as he finished off his cookie, looking down at his computer when he got another email from the editor.-
Covet: "Don't worry. You'll be up there with me if it's the last thing I do this year...or the first thing I do next year?" She said then laughed. "I'll see if I can use some of that celebrity demanding thing the A-listers use."
Alexithymiaa: "You're really going to start that now?" He asked with a laugh, shaking his head. "After all this time of being sweet as pie, I don't know if they're going to take you seriously with that."-
Covet: "Okay so maybe I smother on a little extra sweetness, so they really can't deny me. It's either that or bribe them with buying their kids something. Which is also doable." She said adding to her statement.
Alexithymiaa: "Cut it out, you're not bribing anyone. You'll ask in your nice voice and be eternally grateful in the same voice and they won't know what hit 'em." He said as he leaned in to peck her cheek before returning his attention to his computer, looking over the elements the editor sent.-
Covet: "It's not bribing, it's called... Generosity with intent?" Kelsey said with a laugh leaning into his kiss.
Alexithymiaa: "That's bribing, babe." He said quickly, shaking his head. "It's okay though, I think your sweetness can afford to be a little devilish, don't you?"-
Covet: "I don't think you'd complain, and... It's not like I'm some sort of saint or anything." Kelsey said with a shrug.
Alexithymiaa: "Eh, according to them you are and that's really all that matters in this situation." He said with a shrug, closing out the email and looking over at her. "Am I supposed to be taking pictures of you dressed like that?"-
Covet: She looked down at herself then back at him confused, "No...why do you ask that?"
Alexithymiaa: "You're like... mega Christmas right now. It looks nice, I just didnt know if I had forgotten something here." He started to laugh, adjusting his beanie on his head.-
Covet: "Well it is the week before Christmas, and I wanted to be festive and nice, especially for Church. Speaking of..." Kelsey said. " Dad invited us to Church with them next week for the Christmas Service, but I told him we'd be doing our Christmas stuff with them On Saturday."
Alexithymiaa: "Well... we can do both, right? Id like to go to the Christmas service there." He said with a shrug.-
Covet: "We're definitely doing both, I just wanted to make sure we have Christmas for just us." Kelsey told him with a smile.
Alexithymiaa: "Well yeah, but it's important to me to go to a Christmas service so we can go in the morning and then come back here and do Christmas for just us and do the family thing on Saturday. That way everyone is happy. Sound good?"-
Covet: "Sounds perfect to me." Kelsey said. "Connor gets out of school on Wednesday. Then has until the 4th of January off for his break." She told Brad. "I'll make sure it gets put in your calendar, since you'll have him after the first."
Alexithymiaa: "I won't forget." He promsied even though he would forget, but Evan will make sure it's in the calendar for him and he's reminded anyway. "Do you know when you're going to be coming back yet?"-
Covet: "I've got things set up for a few weeks, but I've worked it out with the AirBnB host that I might not be there that full time. She said she'd give me a refund for the days I'm not there." Kelsey said pursing her lips. "I need to make sure Bryan and CJ are still okay with all of that too."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm sure they will be. They're not exactly the type to go back on their word." He said, giving Bryan at least that much credit. "Do you have a plan of how you intend to spend your time?"-
Covet: "Yeah, and with it being something like this...I don't think they'd forget or anything either." Kelsey said with a nod, "I want to work on some music. I don't plan on producing much of it right off the bat, but I want to do some personal soul searching, I guess? If that makes sense. And then I'll be getting that check up too."
Alexithymiaa: "Good. I dont think you should be spending a lot of time wandering around New York. At least not without Bryan with you. Not because I don't trust you, but because I don't trust the whole rest of the city.'-
Covet: "No I know. Nancy wants me to set up with a bodyguard, or some sort of security, but I don't think I necessarily need all that. But maybe after new year's it might be a good idea." Kelsey said. "And I love my cousin, but I wouldn't want to put him in that position when he shouldn't be getting into it with people verbally or physically, if push comes to shove."
Alexithymiaa: "I think you should set something up with at least some sort of security. Between being well known and everyone in that city kind of just being assholes as it is, please talk to her about it." He reached his hand out, covering hers. "It would make me feel better."-
Covet: Kelsey looked at him, then at his hand, giving him a soft look before she put her hand on his. "You sure it's not so that I have an extra set of eyes on me, so that I behave?" She asked him.
Alexithymiaa: "Rest assured, I think Bryan and CJ are going to have that covered. I promise it's just because I don't feel comfortable with you wandering around the city by yourself. I lived there, I know what goes on there. And I don't want you to see for yourself."-
Covet: "Okay, I'll add that to my list of things to do tomorrow." Kelsey said giving him a smile as she squeezed his hand.
Alexithymiaa: -He smiled back at her, returning the squeeze. "Thank you. Now why don't you go grab some pajamas and meet me in my room and we can have a little nightcap?"-
Covet: "I like this idea." She told him then got up and leaned over to give him a kiss on his cheek before running off to go get the pajama things which probably consisted of nothing more than a t-shirt and panties, because why bother with anything more than that.
