dream log 95

oh no, i overslept after hitting snooze on the alarm. i didn't have anything to do today, but i was having some very interesting dreams, and i got so worried about forgetting them.

here's what i remember first.

i'm me, and i'm at a festival in a magical-looking land, and i see this booth that's giving away these iced drinks - they're like very triangular wine glasses, with blue ice frozen in them, that you can somehow drink with this special, very long straw struck through it. i get one, but it begins melting. i don't drink it at all.

i walk over to a different booth, and... there's a kid. i think they're me, too. we have a conversation, until someone runs in wanting to talk to me, and...

i don't remember. but here's the next dream.

i'm Finn of Adventure Time, and I'm in the abode of the Errorhunter with my buddy Jake. the Errorhunter is a villain of sorts, but he wants a trade in order to not do bad things, and we've accepted. he asks, "A nail? The hair of your loved one? Anything valuable to you? How about your other loves, Jake?"

Jake barks, "I've decided! Rainicorn's the one I love most of all! I won't give them up for anything in the world!"

that's when she comes in, handing the Errorhunter a large wad of cash money, but everybody except the Errorhunter knows it's fake. Rainicorn gives Jake a smooch on the cheek.

he chuckles, "Pleasure doin' business with you," and we all appear to walk outside, but that's a projection of me. it's not me. i've been trapped in a different world, inside the realm of the Errorhunter's. i'm pink. i'm crying and screaming, and there are yellow and green loops all around me. i keep yelling for help, but they've all gone. i'm the only one here, trapped in a sea of vivid colors that shouldn't exist, now a new species of fish.

meanwhile, in the realm of Ooo, two very angry-looking unicorns, one of day, the other of night, storm the Errorhunter's home. they hiss and buck, "You won't get away with this again!"

"Oh, no!" the Errorhunter mock-laughs. "I'm never doing anything evil again. Why are you even here?"

But the unicorns simply glance upon his wad of money from Rainicorn, and it transforms into something else. It smokes and hisses, and begins to pull the Errorhunter inside, and he gasps and curses, "No! No! Fake wad of money! How dare you!" until he's no longer existing, and out of the wad of money, I re-emerge.

They look down at me from the sky and nod at me, muttering a silent plea to take care of Jake, and then fly away, and the sky looks like nighttime again.

But I don't feel right anymore, and the feeling persists as I run back to my treehouse.
