- GM: Good evening, miss LaMorte.
- MM: Good evening.
- GM: You are the cursed one, right?
- MM: I suppose you could say that. I have had an aura of bad luck around me all for as far back as my memory goes.
- GM: I see.
- GM: That is... interesting, at least.
- MM: Any particular reason you needed confirmation on this fact?
- GM: No, not at all. It is just that...
- GM: I was bored, you see.
- MM: As are most people from time to time.
- GM: Then I guessed I could at least try to kill time with Pesterchum.
- MM: That is what most people resort to, myself included.
- MM: Though usually spend more time stitching together outfits and new plush friends for Mr.Luci.
- GM: Since time is the only thing I am allowed to kill for now, I thought that I could waste some minutes with Luke's contacts list.
- GM: Mr. Luci... that is your plush demon, right?
- GM: Please, correct me if I am wrong. I don't remember all of Luke's conversations quite well.
- MM: Why yes, he is.
- MM: He's been in my possession as long as I can remember as well.
- MM: Luckily never around when disaster strikes, however.
- MM: I simply do not know what I'd do if he were to be damaged.
- GM: ...I see.
- GM: Heh.
- MM: I hope you are not tempted to try and wrench him from my hands.
- GM: No, of course not.
- MM: Otherwise I would have to rescue with, dealing justice with extreme prejudice.
- MM: *rescue him, pardonne.
- GM: After all, it is impressive to find somebody with such taste for demons.
- GM: Even if completely unrelated to me, I do feel flattered that somebody treasures a plush demon with such care.
- MM: Of course. He's like a real friend to me. A... Morality pet, if you will.
- GM: So you picked a demon as a morality pet, as you say it?
- GM: That is undoubtedly interesting.
- MM: Well, he's unique out of all my stuffed creatures.
- MM: Of which I have quite a menagerie.
- GM: I see.
- GM: What I deem interesting is the fact that from what I heard from Luke, you are not the sort of person to require a morality pet to remind you of a good side...
- MM: True.
- GM: Unless, of course, it reminds you of the opposite...
- MM: So I suppose the proper term for Mr.Luci is more of a 'Security Trinket', although it has not quite the same ring.
- GM: I see.
- MM: Hmm. Are you suggesting that I acknowledge that a darker beast lurks beneath the surface of my pale facade?
- GM: I have no need to suggest anything like that, miss LaMorte.
- GM: For there is.
- GM: Without a shadow of a doubt.
- MM: Hmm, then I shall love to hear under what circumstances such a beast would emerge from my soul.
- GM: As long as god does not live in you, every living being holds shadow deep within their hearts.
- MM: Yes, this is quite a true fact. It's the fact we have a shadow that proves us to be on this planet.
- MM: And the fact that we acknoledge them as a part of us is what makes us human.
- MM: *acknowledge, my pardons again
- GM: Exactly.
- GM: And you are entitled the right to make casual spelling mistakes.
- GM: English is not your main language, after all.
- MM: Ah, so you know of my French heritage?
- GM: Of course.
- GM: I am Luke, after all.
- MM: ... I see. I was unaware that his condition extended into multiple personalities.
- GM: It does. However, you'll likely only have to deal with other two minds besides his original one.
- GM: One of them being me, and the other being the naive one, Lucius.
- MM: I see. I suppose the three of you make some sort of Freudian trio of Ego, Superego, and Id?
- GM: You could say that.
- GM: But even then, a lot of other comparisons could be made.
- GM: Chaos, order and balance.
- GM: Light, Darkness, and again, the neutral side.
- MM: I suppose you do yourself the honor of representing chaos?
- GM: Good, evil, and again, neutral.
- GM: Indeed I do.
- MM: I supposed as much.
- GM: However, some times the parts we all take on this play can be changed.
- MM: Interesting.
- GM: I usually work as the Superego, but when necessary, I can play the Id just as fine.
- GM: The same thing goes for order. Sometimes organization works as a better way to reach a certain goal.
- MM: Hmm. Interesting.
- GM: That Freudian trio approach to the situation is actually an interesting one.
- GM: The Superego is a separate entity in my case.
- GM: A separate mind, helping Luke's thinking by presenting other possibilities and plans.
- MM: Well, merci for complementing me on the idea.
- MM: But it is simply a logical conclusion.
- GM: However, to act as the Id is to act as one.
- GM: My own Id means nothing. I have to pull the right strings on Luke's Id to make it work.
- MM: Manipulation?
- GM: So I believe you can say that all in all, my working side is always the Superego, while I can simultaneously either that same part or another one on Luke's mind.
- GM: Oh, no. Just... suggestion.
- MM: Hopefully not suggestions that would cause... Poor desicions to be made.
- GM: Of course not.
- GM: His death is my death, after all.
- MM: And his heartbreaks....?
- MM: To take a poetic turn, of course.
- GM: And while I will very likely come back as the only ruler of another body, dying isn't exactly what I would call... pleasant.
- GM: His heartbreaks?
- GM: He is the one to suffer with those.
- MM: Hmm.
- GM: However, as much as I may dislike the kid, I must admit that he is no fool.
- GM: And besides, I am bound to his body.
- MM: That is undeniable.
- GM: Living with a depressed kid 24 hours a day is not a though that pleases me.
- MM: Oh, then you would get along with my nursemaid then.
- MM: I am quite sure she is annoyed by my rather apathetic mannerisms, bless her pretty young heart.
- MM: Though she would never voice such an opinion.
- GM: Oh, no. That is not the sort of depression I was referring to.
- GM: Apathy is actually a quite enjoyable quality from my point of view.
- MM: Oh, I see.
- MM: Excuse me a moment, my computer seems to be messing up.
- MM: I needs must restart.
- MM: My apologies.
- GM: No problem at all.

- MM: Ahem, again I apolize for the interruption.
- GM: Welcome back.
- MM: Where were we?
- GM: Apathy.
- MM: Ah, yes. I do have a rather bleak outlook on life.
- MM: But I cannot really help it, with my life.
- MM: However, I do find solace in my high status of living arrangements, and my copious amounts of fairy tales.
- GM: I see.
- GM: You were talking about your nursemaid, most precisely.
- MM: Yes, she is a very young thing, though I can't quite pin her age.
- MM: Her hair is white as starlight, for one thing.
- MM: And she has this ageless quality to her.
- GM: I see.
- GM: You talked about her likely annoyance by your apathy.
- GM: To which point I disagreed upon, since I for one consider apathy to be quite an ejoyable quality.
- MM: Yes, I suppose it can be, under the right pretenses.
- MM: Yet I hold such a cynical view, it must get grating to her after a while.
- GM: Would she like to swap places with me?
- MM: Oh, doubtful. She's more like an older sister to me, all in all.
- MM: ... Or, perhaps I wish she was my sister.
- MM: It is quite obvious such a woman as her could never be related genetically to someone like me.
- GM: Or could he?
- GM: She, I mean.
- MM: Quite impossible, our bodytypes and everything are completely different.
- GM: I am stuck at a human kid's body with his mind and an angel's.
- GM: Impossible stopped being a word long ago for me.
- MM: True. Makes one wonder what you would truly look like were you given your own body.
- MM: ... Perhaps the possibility from attaining a soul as well, no longer being a mere extension of Luke's psyche.
- GM: Oh, unlike Lucius, I already had plenty of previous bodies.
- MM: Previous bodies?
- MM: What could you possibly mean?
- GM: Previous lives, you see.
- GM: I live finding suitable human hosts to live in this world as I create chaos.
- MM: I find that a little hard to believe, when earlier you claimed to just be a split personality.
- GM: I am not part of his mind that was separated from the core.
- GM: I am another mind that became a separate part.
- MM: I see... I think.
- GM: Even then, I must admit that this is a new experience even for me.
- GM: It is the first time that a host keeps his mind and soul after I take over the body...
- GM: And not only did he manage to withstand it, there is also an angel in the same body.
- MM: ... Interesting. Then I suppose there is more to our dear Luke than what is on the surface.
- GM: Likely, yes.
- GM: The most intriguing thing about him is that while most people would freak out over having a demon and an angel at their bodies, he acts as if it's nothing.
- MM: How curious.
- GM: He talks casually with me and considers my advice, knowing that it could as well take him to hell.
- MM: Luke is getting more and more interesting by the second, as do you.
- GM: At the same time, he also holds conversations with Lucius quite easily, without coming off as evil or annoyed.
- MM: Hm. I don't believe I've met with Lucius just yet.
- GM: No need to.
- MM: Why?
- GM: Watch any kid's show. Take the purest, most naive of the main characters.
- GM: That's Lucius in a nutshell.
- MM: Ah, I see.
- MM: A blind optimist, I suppose?
- GM: Indeed.
- MM: And I suppose you have a more healthy grasp on the world?
- GM: It would depend on what you mean by healthy.
- MM: Heh, true. As I cannot say my mind is truly accurate either.
- MM: What with me thinking, even with my rather pampered life, I still wish to be a princess in a fairy tale.
- GM: Dreaming was never a problem, as long as it is not an impossible one.
- MM: Hmmm, what a poetic thing to say.
- MM: One might say you are trying to use honeyed words on me.
- GM: I am just saying that if you think that it is possible for you to build your fairy tale, then it is not a problem to plan it on advance.
- MM: Heh. Well, merci beaucoup, monsieur.
- GM: But unfortunately, I cannot be a prince.
- GM: I always liked the villains better in these stories.
- MM: I would think so, given your predisposition to claim yourself to be a demon.
- GM: Heh.
- MM: Though my fairytale would require a witch, not a devil.
- MM: Oh my. Look at the time.
- MM: I seem to have run past my deemed internet curfew.
- GM: I see.
- GM: Farewell then, miss LaMorte.
- MM: I must bid thee adieu for the night.
- MM: ... Sweet demon friend.
