Background:
Jacey was born in the Philippines in 1997 and she was raised in a generally rich family. She grew up having nothing not enough and she never had to feel the pain of not being able to have or afford something. She started her passion for dancing and singing when she joined the choir and dance club in high school amd college respectively. Her parents who were very supportive put her up for dance classes, piano classes and vocal classes. She was always thanking God for the fortune. Unfortunately, that fortune came to a pause when her parents passed away in a fatal car accident. Due to the emotional pain, she stopped her way to her dream. She had to work with her older brother, Jason, to afford the luxury of at least having a roof above their heads. They picked up their pace and 2 years later, their condition was stabilised and Kandy finally decided to migrate to South Korea to continue training and achieve her dream of being a Kpop star. She was then offered to be in a Kpop girl group called 'Starlight' and she excitedly accepted the offer. She still keeps in contact with her older brother who is now working as a company worker in New York. Her older brother has been supporting her emotionally and financially as well.
