- ----Emulsified Electronics Employees
- >Abel Rowling: Your coworker\drinking-buddy. Used to be your roommate years ago before you got him a job at the place you worked. He was apparently trained to be an Agent after your accident. Very good with computers, and with some software Gemini stole from CD, he's become much better. Right now he's the information specialist for EE, but in truth, he's your ally over anything. Is relatively paranoid, and so has built multiple safehouses and fallback points.
- >Jun Viridian: The 38 year old neuroscientist who implanted you with the prototype, and from what you can tell, was the one who designed it. With your help, she has her son, James. She's on the board of directors. Recently she's geared up for her own protection, wearing armor.
- >John Grayson: A security specialist and agent. He has implanted forearms and broad shoulders. His preferred weapon is a massive customized gauss rifle that he works on almost constantly, and his combat style is focused on long-range, sharpshooting, and general snipery stuff.
- >Mark: The mechanic who works in B-4, building and maintaining the gear of all Agents. He's a capable pilot and has saved your skin multiple times. Shares your love of mechandrites. Usually flies either a missile-equipped heli, or a cargo VTOL.
- >James Grimmauld: The chairman of EE's board, and de-facto leader of everything EE. He seems calm and urbane, but you've hardly ever spoken to him or the rest of the board.
- ----Kawasagi Infinite Employees
- >Gemini: His real name Lucas, Gemini is Lucca's twin brother, and recently turned into another Project Immortal after he died. He's not yet prepared for any kind of combat, but he's completely living once again, the mass of cables inside his body repairing all decay and damage from his death. He dislikes that Project Immortal tries to assimilate any electronic objects he touches when he has some kind of cut or wound.
- >Sigma: A KI agent who is partners with Epsilon. Sigma is a relatively calm, thoughtful man, except when you piss him off. His augment is such that he's essentially welded into a power suit, and he's a CQC specialist.
- >Epsilon: Epsilon is another Gen-3 implantee who works for KI. She used an IDW chair, and, for some reason, hates you. Is Sigma's partner, and used to date him. Got shot while capturing Omega\Ten, and apparently she cannot use an IDW anymore.
- ----Resurgence
- >Twelve: A mysterious young man who is one of the leaders of Resurgence. He has an AI called Eleven, and has quite a bit of money. You suspect him to be far underwater, contained within his massive, flying gunship.
- >Eleven: An AI who seems to have the ability to feel pain, love, and fear. Twelve tore her out of the bunker when he evacuated, so you have no idea where she is either. You have a splintered version of her in Valhalla, one that's gone mad.
- >Ten: Once known as Omega, Ten was a Kawasagi Infinite Gen-3 implantee who wasn't strictly an agent- instead he was more like a pilot, as he flied a high-tech, incredibly fast dropship. His real identity has been revealed as Ten of Resurgence, and he's currently captured and being interrogated by KI.
- >Three: A gentle, calm old voice who you've spoken to only once, warning you to leave EE. He seems to have significant resources and information.
- ----Valhalla
- >Lucca Delacroix: Once known as Gemini along with her brother, Lucca is an agent who left KI to murder you after her brother was killed by Omega\Ten. You quickly revealed that you had been framed, and her, fooled, in the process securing her as an ally. Is using a prototype portable IDW in her back, and bears her brother's rifle. Currently staying in Valhalla to assist you in hunting down Resurgence.
- >Amy Tolstoy: A teenage mercenary girl with neon hair and augmented legs. Her preferred method of combat is to be fast, to move fast, and to kill the enemies before they kill you. As she's been a merc for over six years, she must be pretty good at it. You're currently dating her, and she is staying with you in Valhalla for the time being. Ever since she got injured in a battle, she's been hesitant to fight again, and gets emotionally disturbed about, to you, the smallest things.
- >You: Your name is Dave, and within your back is the one-of-a-kind Bullfrog prototype. You're quite a conundrum, and nobody is very sure what to expect next from you. You're technically braindead, and your consciousness is contained within the bullfrog, but you have the ability to hack objects wirelessly, but nobody else can understand how you're able to do so.
- ----AI
- >Cyan specializes in networking and is somewhat without quirks. Is a resident of the Bullfrog
- >Onyx operates your teleportation device and is very tactiturn and quiet. Is a resident of the Bullfrog
- >Magenta specializes in combat and is rather bloodthirsty, preferring overkill over anything. Is a resident of the Bullfrog
- >Azure is self-programming and sapient, unlike the other AI. Is a resident of the Bullfrog
- >Talos is Valhalla's resident AI, who deals primarily with security and controls the repair drones.
- >Daedalus is an AI that you've snuck into the satellite above Antarctica, that aggregates and refines all of the information that goes through the satellite.
- >Epona is Amy's AI cluster that you tore out of her mech before the mech self-destructed. Amy's still working on making a new body for them, so they're hiding in Valhalla's computer systems.
- >Eleven is a splinter of an AI that's gone all but mad, and is rapidly breaking down. Currently you have her contained on an isolated system that's been shut down in order to prevent any more mental breakdown.
- ----Other
- >Verne Tolstoy: Amy's uncle on her father's side; A quiet, overweight man who used to be a cop. Most of his internal organs are all augmented versions, and he has an augmented arm; Ever since a mishap with an EMP, he's been unable to do any kind of mercenary work. Recently returned from the hospital.
- >Victoria Tolstoy: Amy's mother; some kind of bizarro Stepford Wife who has some kind of rivalry with her daughter.
- >Alexander Tolstoy: Amy's father; pretty chill, doesn't seem to care about much. He writes cyberpunk novels, which is pretty useless in a cyberpunk setting.
- >Project Atlantis Researchers: Led by Linda Horne, the research team lives in Project Atlantis, a deep underwater research facility. They were recently attacked by Resurgence, and after you helped them, swore that they owe you their lives.
- >Kell: Once Project Immortal, now, a crater. You killed this ass with a beam of boiling light from SPACE.
- >Douglass: Once a CD researcher, you allowed him to take a copy of the CD research data, before they fell. He's the only one who knows that Bullfrog came to the specific complex.
- >Ishelda: Your cat. She hates everything and everyone, save Grayson, and is too proud to pay attention to anything. Demands respect and treats.
- ----Dave
- Dave Davis Davidson: Dave was raised in a very prestigious and classy family, enrolled in an expensive private school for snobby rich people. From the early age of 5 years old, he was vigorously tutored in All Things Classy, including Appropriate Musical Instruments. Being young and all, Dave didn't complain even though he never enjoyed any of this. But as he grew up and learned more of the world, he started to resent this way of life and sought different hobbies. Nerdy hobbies, like comic books, Chinese Cartoons, Warhammer, etc. He knew his parents wouldn't approve; in fact, that's the very reason why he chose those hobbies over something more acceptable.
- One day, when he was about 16 to 17, they found out and destroyed his entire collection, including one-of-a-kind, never-left-wrapper artifacts. After that, his relationship with his parents went downhill and never improved.
- After yet another heated argument, Dave took all the money he had collected, a bag with some base necessities, quit the prestigious ivy-league college he'd barely started, and just left without ever saying a word, changing his surname to something ridiculous so that they would never find him. He wandered aimlessly for months until he found himself in NearFuture City on the west coast. On the first day, during cold and rainy weather, he found a white kitten on the verge of starvation. He just couldn't leave the poor thing to die, so he saved her and named her Ishelda.
- Soon enough, Dave found a job as an office clerk, but his paycheck didn't quite pull enough for an entire apartment by itself, so he set out an ad searching for roommates. Soon enough, Abel entered the picture, and they became quick friends. After pulling strings to get Abel a job at the same place Dave had, the two worked and lived together for a few years, at least until Abel's grandmother died and he inherited her house. Abel moved out, but they continued working together for a year or so until Dave got hit by a car.
