personality: Minjae is fairly extroverted. She is always looking for someone to talk to. She doesn't care if it's another student she's never talked to before. She is adventurous, but not to the point where she could get into major trouble. Jay has no problem dealing with a few detentions though, as long as she gets to have fun. She almost always has a bounce in her step, since she's full of energy. She has little fear when it comes to giving a presentation but she can't freestyle in front of anyone by herself. She is quite friendly as well. Minjae is a fairly open book and will talk to anyone about almost anything. She can usually get someone to come out of their shell.

background: Her early childhood was normal. Her parents got along and it was her father's idea to enroll her in swimming with her brother. She picked up on it because of him and it became part of her life. She picked up dancing at 8, and became quite good at it. When she was 10, her parents started to have nasty fights and they got a divorce when she was 11. Her mother got full custody of both children,  so her father moved away. She'd never been close with her mother, and it only got worse since she denied any visitation to her father. At 13, her father had a heart attack and ended up in the hospital. She wasn't allowed to go see him. He died from another heart attack weeks after. She grew apart from her mother after that. When she started high school, she would go to school early and stay late, just so she could avoid her mother. Her brother began to pick her up and drop her off as soon as he could drive. When she got accepted to the academy, her brother made sure to get a stable job to help support their mother.

how did you meet: They first met in
dance class. He was attempting the dance to a popular song, though he wasn't doing so well. She decided to go over and work on the dance as well. It was one of her favorite dances, so her moves were precise. They had a small competition, which she easily won. He ended up being grumpy toward her for the rest of the class and that whole week.

first impressions:
She thought it was funny and kinda cute how he continued to mess up the dance. She didn't notice his face until after all the attention had died down. Her first thought was that he looked a little cute, but was still annoying.

He was mesmerized by her sharp moves, causing him to mess up more than he normally would. After their little competition, he got upset that she was not only better than him, but able to mess up his dancing.
